The Truth and Going To Town

I stumbled back when I heard the man speak.

"Henry I am your grandfather, Odin,"

"How can you be my grandfather? My parents are both normal people who have ordinary lives, so how could I be related to you?" I responded.

"Your parents jobs are not in your world. That is why they are always at work. Your father is one of my sons, He is Thor" The man said.

"So all this time I have been the son of a God? Then why didn't I have powers on Earth"

"You had powers on Earth but you didn't know how to use them. Whenever you got mad there would be a thunderstorm with lots of lightning. When you were sad there would be a downpour and when you were happy it was sunny. You had powers and you still have them but it is up to you to learn how to use them" Odin said

"I don't have much more time in this plane so I will tell you this. You need to get stronger. Strong enough that you could make the whole world submit to you. And even then you would need to get stronger.

There will be many fights ahead and in order to avoid the destruction of this world and many others you will need all the strength you can get. I have to go now but I have left you the Endless Book inside your mind. With this you will have my wisdom and knowledge. I shall also be leaving one of my ravens Huggin with you so take care of him" Odin said.

"Wait so how am I supposed to learn with no teacher"

"You will learn, but you need to teach yourself if you want to become the strongest. I must go now and you must wake up again, your women are worried about you" Odin said. With that I lost my consciousness of the plane and woke up at a camp in the woods with Mia Maria and Hibana.

"He is awake" Mia shouted over to Maria and Hibana. They all came rushing over to see me.

"We thought that you had died or entered a coma" Maria said.

"It's alright now I'm ok. More importantly when are we gonna claim this bounty" I said and everyone laughed. So then we had dinner by the campfire while talking about where we were going.

"We are going to Darkwood to redeem the bounty and so that I can also see my family," Maria said.

"Alright let's head there immediately"

"Shouldn't we be resting, you only just woke up," Mia said.

"I'll be fine so let's go. I learned some new powers while unconscious and also got a spirit beast." I said and with this I summoned Huggin and He turned into a raven the size of a dragon. Large enough to fit us all on top with more. Mia and Hibana stumbled backwards.

"Henry, how did you get one of Odin's ravens?" Mia said.

"I was given him by Odin himself. Who turns out to be my grandfather, while I am the son of Thor" I said.

"We knew that you were special from the moment we laid eyes upon you but we didn't know that you were the Grandson of Odin" Hibana said.

"Who is this Odin that you speak of in such a high manner?" Maria asked.

"Odin is one of if not the most powerful gods in all of existence. He has infinite wisdom and he has all the powers you could think of and more. He is not someone that you could anger and get away with" Mia responded. I interrupted saying,

"Alright we can talk more about this later but now we should head to Darkwood to claim our bounty". And so we all got on Huggin and we took off and headed into the direction of Darkwood. It took us only 5 minutes to get there, but that was expected of a divine spirit beast, furthermore one of Odin's ravens.

We landed and got off of Huggin and he went back into spirit form and attached himself to my body disguising himself as a tattoo. When I looked around I could see the entire city brimming with life. I saw all different races from cat girls to humans to minotaurs. For the first civilization that I have seen in this new world I was excited and impressed. We stayed as a group while walking through the streets with Maria as our guide.

We walked to the adventurers guild which was a tall stone building with lots of windows and floors. As we walked in the door we were met with the sight of adventurers filling the room. There were adventurers at the bar and adventurers at the front desk taking jobs. We began to walk up to the front desk and were met by stares of many of the adventures.

We walked up to the desk where Maria was greeted with a bow by the women working the desk

"Where are your manners, Maria is royalty!" the women said.

"It is alright they are with me" Maria said.

"Im sorry then, how can we help you today"

"We would like to claim the bounty for the Goblin King" Maria said. The room went silent you could hear the clock tick

"Are you sure you have done the right bounty?" The women said in a concerned manner.

"Yes, we have proof as well" I said as I made the mangled head from the king appear out of my "storage" which was just my Interdimensional Void.

"We will get your reward in a moment" the lady said as she rushed off to go tell her boss. Everyone in the building was now no longer giving the death stare to me. I knew that they could tell that I was of some importance and that they should not mess with me. Then a blonde man barged in through the main entrance. He had a group in tow but they all looked weak so I paid them no mind. He walked over to the counter and began to talk to Mia and the girls.

"Why are you pretty women with a boy like him? he is probably only 16. Why don't you come with us men and we can show you a good time" he then tried to grab Mia's hand but she slapped him.

"You bitch. How dare you slap me. Do you know who I am? Im a B rank adventurer" he said and he went to try and grab her again and I interrupted.

"Try that again and you will lose your arm"

"A pipsqueak like you is gonna cut off my arm huh. Yeah ok kid go off elsewhere these women aren't interested in you" He then tried to grab again so I used Shadow Blade and chopped his arm off with one swift stroke. Blood poured out from his shoulder where the rest of his arm got cut off and remained limp on the floor.

"AHHHH… MY ARM… YOU ACTUALLY CUT OFF MY ARM! I'LL KILL YOU. BOYS GET HIM". I prepared for battle when an old man who was built like a "Powerlifter" from Earth stepped out and everyone stopped. I presumed that he was the guild master.

"You four come with me, and someone kick that piece of weasel shit out of my guild. And make him take his arm with him" He said and we went up the stairs to meet with the guild master.
