The king's Desire

She was like the Phoenix burning brightly in his darkness and illuminating his entire being. He was a coward and his darkness threatened to swallow him. She was his only redemption. "The Phoenix and the Dragon shall meet and they together shall wipe the darkness that surrounds this kingdom" the old priest told the Old King about the prophecy as he stared intently at the Queen who sat beside the King. Sonia was the illegitimate daughter of Count Raymond who was exiled to the countryside with her mother. When her mother dies, she is sent back to live with her father,the Count. There she happens to make an acquaintance with a mysterious man and becomes penpal with him. The second time she meets this man was when she escaped from her father's mansion after finding out the hidden motive for bringing her back. Sonia was happy to meet her penpal friend again and stayed with him. what will happen when that man's past catches up with him, will she stay and help him deal with his troubles? or will she go away? King Emric ran away from the prison called a palace. He runs to redwood village and meets his old acquaintance and together they set up a small business and were happy with there lives but trouble comes knocking on their door as his stepmother threatens his new found joy. will he back away cowardly? or will he challenge the Queen and battle her to death? Who knows?

Sonia's Journey

Butler Frederic ordered the servants to return what they have stolen to the village head doorstep and with an apology letter attached to it.

Early in the morning,Sonia was ready to leave with them without the condition of keeping some people and guards to take care of her mother's house. The village head had his sights set on the house and Sonia did not want him to achieve what he wants.

After spending two weeks on the road, they finally arrived at the Count' s mansion. Sonia was astonished by the splendour and lavishness of the mansion. Sonia was almost blinded by the display of wealth. She could not help looking around the place in wonder. All the servants stared at her in utter disdain and contempt.

' it seems like my father loves to show off. Let me see how his attitude towards me is. I hope he is nice to me.'

A couple could be seen standing at the end of the staircase with a lady by their side. Sonia guessed that the lady was her stepsister and she was the same age as Sonia, the good impression she had of her father collapsed, so her father was cheating on her mother, no wonder her mother left her father.The lady was attractive and beautiful with long black silky hair , green eyes that shone like diamonds and a figure that men would die for, in other words her stepsister was a jaw- dropping beauty. Count Raymond quickly approached her with worry , guilt and affection reflected in his eyes while his wife was quietly sobbing . He hugged Sonia and said

" My daughter you won't blame dad for abandoning back then, I know what I did was terribly. I am really sorry and I want to have a chance to make it up to you. please will you allow me my daughter"

" My child, your dad is truly sorry for what he did back then, please forgive him. This Countess will make it up to you, my daughter, just tell me whatever you need and I will send it to you" The Countess said to Sonia while appearing heartbroken.

Sonia was in shock and disbelief , this family of three were different from what her mother described for her. She had expected to be maltreated and bullied as soon as she step in the mansion but what was she seeing, everything seems different from the cruel and scheming family she was told about. She decided a chance while for any evil behavior.
