Battle against Ganondorf Part 2/?

Ganondorf summoned more and more phantoms to make up for the ones Mew and Gengar broke, allowing Zelda and Link a little more breathing room as the accuracy of Zelda's long ranged attacks seemed to increase.

Ganondorf seemed to notice as well, but he was to preoccupied with attacking Link, summoning phantoms to detain him and making sure he could disrupt Zelda's concentration. For the latter he would need to summon more phantoms, but those little pesky creatures kept destroying them.

As Ganondorf annoyance shot through the roof, Mew was cheering happily as he beat Gengar once again. Gengar had long since become tired of this as he didn't have as much stamina to pull of attack after attack like Mew.

"You win! I give up!"

Gengar finally yelled as Mew blasted apart the last phantom.

'What did you say? I didn't hear it."

Mew said, a sneaky smirk on his face as he circled around Gengar as he continued to blast apart the newly summoned phantoms.

"You WIN!"

Gengar yelled, retreating back into Mew's shadow to mope around at the unfairness of it all. Even if it was fun, there was just no way to compete with a legendary, don't even mention to creator of all pokemon.

Mew ignored Gengar as he laughed loudly in a cheerful mood.

Seeing Zelda hitting Ganondorf again and again with a light arrow, weakining the latter considerably, Mew was drawn to trying it for himself as well.

Forming a Psycho cut, Mew launched it towards Ganondorf. Unfortunately Mew's attack did not hit the intended target. If it was because Ganondorf moved, Mew couldn't aim or because Zelda and Link interferred, Mew did not know. Mybe it was the will of the world that altered Mew's aim, as the one that was hit was not Ganondorf by his steed.

The Psycho cut landed cleanly on Ganondorf's steeds legs, making the poor beast fall down as soon as it moved another step forward. Ganondorf did not see it coming and was launched from his horse to the ground.

Though it wasn't Mew's original motive, mew laughed out loud at the way Ganondorf fell, as the latter's bottom was pointed at the sky while his face was covered in grass.

Ganondorf became even more annoyed but still chose to ignore the little pest, as a more harmful enemy was standing in front of him. Link had dismounted from his horse and stood in front of Ganondorf with his sword raised.

Ganondorf stood up as well as laughed at Link as he drew his sword.

"An impressive looking blade. But nothing more. Would you hear my desire?"

Ganondorf said as he unsheathed his long sword.

"To use this foul blade... and use it to blot out the light forever!"

Ganondorf slowly moved forward, as a magic barrier suddenly formed around him and Link, separating them from the others.

Mew sat down on Link's horse along with Zelda as they watched in tension as Ganondorf and Link started their battle.
