[ Another world ]

I was escorted by Leon to Hina's room. Her house was really big. It was like I was in a palace. Her room was also big.

<I shall head outside.> said Leon. <Um, sure.> Honestly, being alone with a girl feels weird.

<Kashi!> Hina dashed to me and gave me a big hug. It was painful.

<Hey, um… you're crushing me…>

<Sorry… I was just worried… >

"Geez I'm the worst. Making her worry like this. She even looks like she's about to cry."

She was about to let me go but after seeing how much she worried about me, I embraced her.

<I'm sorry I made you worry.>

<It's okay…>

<Aren't you worried about Stella as well?> As soon as I mentioned that name she held me like she was about to crush me. "Crap, I messed up…"

<Hey, speaking off Stella… where is she?> she said in a really terrifying voice.

<Um, she is with me��� and we're kinda… in a relationship… now.> I said those words without knowing the consequences.

<Oh really…?>

<Um, Hina why are you summoning your daggers?!>

<You're mine Kashi. Only mine…> a chill ran down my spine. I never knew that Hina was a yandere. Sure she tried to slice me the… nevermind it was plainly obvious.

I sighed and did something that would probably make Stella mad at me. I pulled Hina close to me and kissed her. After a few moments she distanced herself away from me. Her face was beet red.

<I… I'm sorry about that. I only turn like that when I get really jealous.> She said as she looked at the ground.

<So you weren't trying to stab or slice me because you were wanting my attention? So it was because you were jealous huh.>

She nodded at what I said.

<Oh right! Yuna and Shiina were worried sick as well.>

<Really?> She nodded. I only met them not long ago. So them worrying about me is kinda surprising. I decided to give Hina my phone number and waved her goodbye.

<What…?> I was back at my castle in another world. And was dumbfounded by what Elize told me.

<What do you mean Kashi needs to attend this Magic school in another world?> Stella said as she was eating dinner. She looked cute munching on the food. She really enjoyed it.

<Yes, but not just any Magic School. It is the Magic School of Arcadia, a school for all races.>

Apparently to be a successful Demon Lord I need to be proficient in magic. This is gonna get really problematic because I don't know if the people in that other world are good or not.

<Although Milord, I am surprised that you can suppress your aura. As well as you Queen Stella.>

<Yeah I also noticed that. Everyone in our world has loose auras, but he doesn't.>

<Eh?> I'm really clueless to what they are talking about. Is it the same to what I see with my [Heavens Eyes] skill?

Actually something weird happened to my [Heaven's Eyes] skill. Back then it just lets me see through objects and see invisible things. But when I used it after getting the system, I could see auras. Back then it wasn't too visible. But when I fought Stella in her Demon Lord form that's when it got really visible.

But how did I even suppress something I didn't even know I had?

"Hey system, do you know anything about this?"

[Answer, yes. I concealed it completely so that no one would know who and what you are.]

Well that was helpful, since when I saw Stella's Demon Lord aura, it was dense and really sinister. If Elize is bringing this up, then I guess the people on the other world can see it.

<Ah, by the way, how am I gonna get enrolled at the school?> I asked the question that was in my mind.

<Don't worry, for the Demon Lord of that world serves under you Milord.>

"What the?" Apparently I'm the highest Demon Lord. So all other Demon Lord's automatically served under me, but there are some who are opposed, naturally. Luckily, the Demon Lord of that world is not one of the opposed ones.

But Elize said that some of the underlings of this Demon Lord are opposed to me. But what's worse is that the humans of this world are racist, not all of them, just some. But even though the Magic School of Arcadia accepts people of all races, some of the racist humans bypass this and still get into the school. I hope I don't run into them.

I asked if Stella will be coming with me, but Elize said that Stella will come with me in one condition. And that is not to let her over exhaust herself as well as not do too much in combat.

After I took the crystal away from her Stella was unable to use her overdrive gear. That was understandable. So what I did was asked the blacksmith of this castle, which surprised me, to make it into a pendant. Luckily the crystal was only about the size of a coin, so it was manageable. But she still wasn't used to it being that way so she still needs some time to get used to it.

We were set out to leave tomorrow morning, so we were about to go to bed early, but…

<Are you sure you're okay with this…?>

<Yes…> Stella said red in the face. We were lying down together on the same bed. Sure we're in a relationship, but… it's only been a day…

"Well, not gonna lie this feels nice."

I slowly embraced Stella and she held me back. A few moments later, we fell asleep.

<Very well. Safe travels Milord.>

I waved goodbye to Elize and the other staff of the castle, there sure are a lot of them…

Elize gave me the coordinates of where we would meet up with this Demon Lord. It was in a country called Elude. I opened up a portal to the location and what greeted us was… something out of a fantasy novel. The whole surrounding area looked so medieval. Although I wouldn't know for sure because we weren't exactly at the city yet. We were about one kilometer away from the Capital city, Exi. Elize told us to distance ourselves from the city when we get to this world so that we wouldn't raise any suspicions.

And apparently, my portals evolved. I was actually shocked that it worked. My portals now let me travel to other worlds with no problems whatsoever.

We walked together towards the capital. We saw a few carriages pass by, we could've asked to come with,but we didn't have any money. We stop every hour just to make sure Stella doesn't over exhaust herself. Honestly, it feels like I'm taking care of her after she gave birth. But I didn't mind it, since it was bound to happen. So think of it like I'm preparing for the future.

I brought my smartphone with me so that I can call Elize if I have any questions. We also planned on living here until I finish school, but we'll still visit the castle from time to time.

<Um, Kashi? Are you sure that we'll be able to settle in on this world?>

<Yeah, I think we can. I mean we got settled in the castle fairly quick.> That wasn't a lie either. We got settled at my Demon castle in just a day.

We passed through a little village. It looked like a cozy village. We kids playing and the farmers tending to their crops. It was nice, until…

<Graughh!!!> I looked up and saw a dragon. Although I wasn't panicked. Stella was taken aback a bit though.

I could see the villagers run around in a panic. I wasn't just going to let the dragon run havoc on the village. It spewed fire to one of the villagers.

[Barrier] I casted my skill. Or rather my spell to protect the villager from the flames. I called out Rulid, the black demon dragon to fight this one. Rulid soared up to the sky until he was finally on the same level as the other dragon. Honestly, it was quite a sight. The dragon had silver scales and golden eyes. While Rulid on the other hand had black scales and crimson red eyes. He also had large horns jutting out of his head. The silver dragon has one too.

Rulid came flying straight to the silver dragon spewing out blue flames. While they were fighting, Stella reassured the villagers that everything was alright. Good thing they can speak the same language as us. I took out my smartphone from the void where I put stuff like the Demon Lord's Blade. It was just basically an inventory. I called Elize.

<Yo, is a dragon corpse valuable?> I asked Elize. This may prove helpful for me and Stella since we don't have any money yet.

<Indeed it is. It's worth 100 platinum coins, which is equivalent to 10 billion points.>

"Holy crap that's a lot of money!"

[You should take one of the horns. It is rather useful for making a weapon.]

That might help me a bit. I don't want people thinking I'm some kind of monster just by punching monsters to death. Well I am one but no one other than my servants and Stella know that. Oh, and the system as well. So maybe I'll have a katana as a weapon. Combined with my gauntlets and this black coat that Elize forced me to wear, I'll really look like an adventurer.

I ended the call and heard a loud crash from behind me. The silver dragon was on the ground. It was dead.

I called back Rulid and pulled out one of the horns. It was huge. I was as long as my arm. It was light though…

<Good Kashi!> I turned around and saw Stella running towards me.

<Yeah, you too. Thanks for keeping the villagers calm.> I patted her on the head.

<Ehehe… Thank you.> She looked really cute. I wanted to hug her, but then I saw the villagers walk towards us.

<A-are you an adventurer?> Asked an elderly man. He looked to be in his sixties.

<Ah, no. I'm just a traveler. My name's Kashi Kusarage.> After I said those words the villagers looked at me. After a while they all cheered.

<Thank you our savior, Kashi Kusarage! We owe you great debt for what have you done for us this day!>

<Ah, I-it's not a big deal really.> It was so embarrassing.

I put the dragon corpse in my inventory and left the village. It was almost noon so it was a bit hot, or so I say. I was just guessing, I couldn't feel heat. It was because of my fire resistance. But Stella on the other hand was sweating a bit.

<Should we take a rest?>

<Ah, okay… I'm sorry…> she looked at me apologetically. I simply smiled at her.

We sat under a tree near the path we were taking. Elize gave us food before we left the castle, so we ate it while we were resting. We were happily eating until my phone rang. The caller was Hina.

<Yo, what's up?>

<Where are you right now Kashi? I'm at the front of your apartment.>

"Crap." I answered her question and told her everything. About what I was, about where I'm going to go for school now and so on.

<Can I come with you there?>

<Sure, but I think you should tell everyone there first. I don't want to be causing any problems.>

<Okay!> She ended the call.

<Was that Hina?>

<Yeah. She's been more clingy since I kiss-> before I could finish my sentence, I already felt like there was a dagger stabbed on my back.

<You two kissed? In the lips?> She was definitely mad. I'm being warned by my senses to run away now. "Ah damn. Seems like I gotta kiss her too."

<Make it up to me.> She said as she pouted. Ah so precious.

I held her close and kissed her. It was all great until I heard people clicking their tongues.

<Oi! Let us get a taste of that young lady over there as well!>

<Ahahaha, we'll also make her feel good.>

<Say, would you mind lending her to us.> I turned around to see if three thuggish looking men. These types of people are really annoying. This is such a pain in the ass…

<Did you hear us?! We said let us have the girl!>

[ Warning! Aura can no longer be concealed! ]

My body let out a dark purple aura that made the ground shake. If I remember correctly, Elize said that it was called a Demon Lord's haki. At first I didn't get it but when she mentioned auras last night that's when I kinda got it.

The men in front of me looked in horror and fear on their faces.

<A Demon Lord! Run!> They all fell down, but quickly got up and ran away from us. But I wasn't gonna let them go that easily.

[Barrier]

I held all three of them within one big [Barrier]. My magic in this world seems to be much stronger. I then created a coin sized [Fireball] on my pointer finger. And launched it at them like a finger gun.

My spells can come through my [Barrier], but once it's in the effects like explosion and others won't come out. But before it could even reach the three and the [Barrier], it was shot down by something. I looked at it now that it was on the ground. It was an arrow. Another arrow shot out, breaking my [Barrier].

<What the?> It came from literally out of thin air. I invoked [Heaven's Eyes] and looked around. I then saw a girl with pointy ears, golden eyes, and blonde hair holding a bow. She looks to be the same age as me. I assumed she was an elf. She stood a few meters away from us and was standing on the path that me and Stella were taking. She might have been just passing by and saw us. I quickly hid my aura once more. "Seems like she didn't notice."

<Hey young miss, how long have you been there.> I spoke in her general direction.

<Oh? So you noticed me? That's a first.> she said as she revealed herself. She must have been using some kind of magic.

<The name's Yui Greenfield. I was just passing by and saw what you were doing. I just arrived a few moments ago.> she said as she bowed.

"So she doesn't know the reason huh?" I walked to her and explained what was the cause. After I explained it to her, she looked at the three with a face of disgust. <Geez, why did I even save them? You really have it hard being a human. Having people like this the same race as you.> I looked at the three. "So they were human, huh?"

I just smiled at her since me and Stella weren't exactly humans anymore. I told the three to go away. They ran for their life.

<Are you headed to Exi as well?>

<Yeah, we just rested a bit.> I answered Yui's question. She asked us where we were from, and we just said we came from a nearby village. She then asked me if I was the traveler that helped a village just from behind us. She might have gotten there as soon as we left.

<Wanna come with us? We're meeting up with someone there.>

<Sure, why not?>

We left off and went straight for Exi. We passed a few villages along the way, until we finally reached the gates of the capital city.

We got through the gates no problem. Although some suspicious looking people got blocked off.

<What are you gonna do here anyway? Isn't this country like filled with demons?>

<Oh, I was tasked by my father to meet up with someone.>

As she answered my question a carriage stopped in front of us. It was gaudy looking. And it was being pulled by a two horned horse. A bicorn to be precise. It was all that surprising since this world has a lot of monsters.

A man who seemed to be in his fifties came out of the carriage. He wore a typical butler attire. He walked right to us and then bowed. But he was not bowing to me but Yui instead.

<Greetings princess. I am William Beckett, Lord Mason Elude's butler.>

<Greetings as well. These are… I haven't asked your name yet.> Yui said as she looked at us.

<Ah, right. Hello, my name is Kashi Kusarage. And this is my lover, Stella Tachibana.>

The butler looked at us in disbelief. He then quickly turned to us and bowed.

<Pardon my rudeness Lord Kusarage! We did not expect you to arrive at the same time as the Princess of Greenfield!>

<Princess… huh? So you were royalty?> I asked as I looked at Yui's direction.

<Yeah. Are you one too?>

<Ahahaha… you can say that…> I don't really wanna give out who and what I really am. But then again, I just carelessly showed those three thugs who I really am.

We got escorted to a large castle, not larger than mine though. It looked like a typical medieval castle. It has large wooden gates. But as I passed through then I felt that something was being forcibly being sucked out of me.

William seeing my confused expression, spoke up.

<It's nullification magic. It nullifies any kind of magic. You could just call it [Anti magic].>

<My arrows here are enchanted with [Anti magic], as you saw earlier.>

"So that's how she destroyed my [Barrier]. And since she's an elf, her precision is understandable. There wasn't even anyone back at the preliminaries who could shoot something so accurately. Speaking of preliminaries, I wonder what will happen to the tournament." I made a mental note to ask Hina later.

We were at a guest room when suddenly the door came bursting open.

<Lord Kusarage! I am thankful you accepted my request!> A man came through the door, then immediately bowed in front of me. I assumed he was Demon Lord Mason Elude.

<No it's okay. I don't think I can go to school in my world now anyways.>

<Your world? And why is the Demon Lord bowing to you?> Yui said to me as I gestured to Mason to stop bowing.

<We are from another world-> before Stella could even finish what she was saying I quickly covered her mouth.

<Lord Kusarage is from another world.> Mason said ignoring how I stopped Stella from saying it.

"I even tried to cover it up by saying we were from a nearby village and you two are just gonna give it away just like that?!"

I sighed and explained everything to Yui. After my explanation, she just stared at me.

<So you're basically higher than even Demon Lord Mason… ah, and I've been speaking to you so casually.>

<No it's fine really. I'm still not used to this position.>

<So about the school. When will it start?>

<Ah, yes. You are already enrolled and classes will start in three days.>

"Three days huh? Well that's fine. I could just use those days so we can go sightseeing." I asked Mason where we will be staying. He said that we'll be staying at his castle. And one the classes start, we'll be staying in dorms provided by the school.

<But unfortunately, you two will be in separate dorms.>

<Well that's expected. We don't want people having any misunderstandings.>

<But she will have the company of Princess Greenfield here.>

"What?" Apparently, Yui was also requested by the Demon Lord to learn at Arcadia. I wonder what kinds of people I'll come across there.

<I came here to learn magic technology.>

"Oh, okay… wait magic technology?"

I asked Mason about it. It seemed like this world was more advanced than I thought. It could be possible that only the outskirts of large cities aren't that advanced. But even the houses at the capital looked like they were medieval.

<Also by enrolling, I heard that you get one of those things called Overdrive gears.> I froze up as I heard those words. Overdrive gears also exist in this world apparently. They say a random blade was found near a ruin. They didn't know what kind of blade it was, since even with magic technology, they haven't made something like this yet. As they looked at the blade, it was engraved with the words overdrive gear. It then turned into a bracelet once someone touched it. It was the recognition system taking action.

Once someone else tries to touch your Overdrive gear, this system turns it back into nothing or back into its original form. Based on what they said, it was probably the old type of Overdrive gears. Now Overdrive gears just come out from necklaces, bracelets and so on. They used reverse engineering to recreate the blade and made other weapons along the way.

"Oh, right!" I just remembered something.

<Hey Mason, do you know anywhere I can sell a dragon's corpse?>

<Yes, you could sell it at the guild.>

"Ho? They even have a guild? A modernized medieval world."

We've been in this world for a day now. I was wandering the castle until I came across the library. I was about to open the door until suddenly my phone, now in my pocket, rang. It was Hina.

<Yo, what's up?>

<Kashi! Help! The Elites all over the world, they're running wild just like Stella!>

<What?!>

"How was that possible?! I thought only Stella had that kind of Overdrive gear!"

<How did that happen?!>

<I don't know! But maybe it was because of the sound that was played on the TV. We were all required to listen to it. But me and the other two, Shiina and Yuna, who were with me last night, felt something wrong so we didn't listen to it.>

"Tsk! Have they gone mad?! Why would they do this?!"

I ran to find Stella after I told Hina to hang in there.

I came barging in Stella's room.

<Stella! The Elites! They turned into something similar to you!>

<What?! They really did it?! Why did my father continue on to doing this?!>

<What?!> I asked Stella what she knew.

Apparently her father and the principal planned this. They were also planning on using me to straighten they're forces. The idea was to overrun the world and make everyone into Elites. And if they didn't have the potential, then they will get experimented on at Shin, my middle school.

There were rumors about my old school having science facilities under it. I didn't believe it, but when Stella told me that she was already experimented on down there, I couldn't help but to fall into rage.

<I didn't have potential, so my father gave me to them. He isn't caring at all, he only thinks of me as a tool.>

<Tsk!> I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth.

"System what do you think is the best solution?"

[Answer, evacuate those you care about and let the world turn into ruin.]

"Well, I guess I have no choice. They can blame it all to Julius."

I looked at Stella. <Why do you think caused them to do this?>

<It was probably after I disappeared. They already finished this virus like device two years ago. But they haven't used it since I was still there. They weren't sure if it could kill the holder so they haven't used it.>

"They really just think of her as a tool… just like how my parents thought of me…"

I couldn't take it anymore so I opened up a portal and went in alone. I came out in what was supposed to be my apartment. The whole building was ruined.

I quickly called Hina.

<Where are you right now?>

<Near the convenience store that you bought the raw meat on. I was gonna buy some food for me and the two, but I got locked in since there are some Elites out here.>

<Got it.>

I quickly used my [Lightning speed] to get to the convenience store as fast as I can. As I was passing through the city I saw that everything was almost completely destroyed.

I got there and saw a group of twelve people. And among them was two familiar people. It was Tom and Luke. They all had horns jutting out of their foreheads and had crimson red eyes.

<Well if it isn't the guy who Mr. Tachibana preferred more over me. Well not that I care about his daughter anymore since he still gave us leadership over all the Elites.>

<Ahaha! I can't wait for Hina to fall into my hands!>

"As annoying as ever. I should take out the other ten first. Time to try this new spell out."

[Flame pillar!] I snapped my fingers and the ten other guys were engulfed in blue flames. Moments later they turn into dust.

<What the?! How?!>

<Why you!>

Tom came rushing to me, spear in hand, only to lose his arms immediately. I used [Shadow claw] claw on him. Even though I wasn't using my gauntlets, it sliced off his arms like butter. He fell to the ground. He was dead.

[Health: 0/200]

[Exp: 600/600]

[You levelled up!]

<Tom! Why you asshole!>

He cast something similar to Shiina's [Burning Burst]. He was more stronger now than he was back then. But I was also stronger.

I summoned the Demon blade just to finish this as quickly as possible. And with one slash. He was cut in half.

<Curse you…> he said one last time as he stopped moving

I went inside the convenience store and called out.

<Hina!>

<Ah, Kashi!>

Hina popped her head out from behind the counter. She then told me more information about what was happening. Apparently all of the adults, apart from Julius, the principal, and their subordinates, were all killed off by the Elites. It was probably because they have a lower chance of producing capable Elites, or just kids with the potential to be an Elite. They say they could just experiment on them but by doing this, then the chances of them doing that are more unlikely. That also means that my parents and probably the ones who helped me become an Elite in the first place are all gone now…

<Well, no use in sulking over spilled milk. Where are the others?>

<They're at my house.>

<Well then, let's go.>

We went outside. Hina saw the two dead bodies and stopped in her tracks. She looked at me.

<Did you… do this?>

<Yeah? They were in my way so all I had to do was dispatch them.> Well there was another reason. They were pissing me off.

Just as I was thinking that a lightning bolt came out of nowhere hitting me.

[Inflicted with paralyze for 5 minutes]

"Five minutes?! And that is way too high of a damage for me to survive! My health isn't even… regenerating… It's regenerating so fast!" I was surprised to see this but also kind of suspicious. Because when I fought Shiina, my regeneration didn't work at all. I wonder why that was. I made a mental note to ask her later.

<Take this!> I looked above me to see someone coming straight at me. It was another one of the Elites although I didn't recognize her. Neither did Hina. But even so, she seemed to be worried about her. I sighed and caught the girl by her neck.

<What the?! Shouldn't you be paralyzed?!> My health was already full, and it was regenerating speed was scary, so even the paralysis damage of one and the effect itself was completely nullified. I really need to ask the system later why it didn't work when I fought Shiina.

I looked at her in the eyes. Her crimson eyes glowing red as she looked back at me.

<Serve under me and I shall show mercy upon to you.>

<Y-yes…>

"That was quick."

It was the Demon Lord spell [Daze] it only works for demons who are lower ranking than the caster, and in my case every demon.

She bowed down to me after I let her go. I commanded her to escort us as we traveled to Hina's house.

I asked the system why my regeneration didn't work while I was fighting Shiina. Apparently her flames weren't normal flames. They prevented me from regenerating. That sure is some scary flames. I wanted to be sure so I asked Shiina. We were now at Hina's room in her house.

<Yes, that is correct. The flames of the Vermillion family prevent people with regenerative abilities to unable to regenerate.>

"That's some fearful power there. But now that I have fire resistance, I can regenerate and not even take damage."

But there were still other ailments as well. But the most problematic once would be poison. Oh wait, actually freeze as well.

As I was talking to Shiina, Hina was trying to get some sleep. Not just her though, everyone in this room, except for me, are tired. Well that was understandable. This situation made them sleepless. Yuna was even wobbling from side to side. I was seated next to her so from time to time she laid her head on my shoulder. She looked adorable, however as soon as the other two saw my smiling at the sleepy Yuna beside me, they looked daggers at me. "Please don��t look at me like that…"

I sighed as I looked at them.

<Well have you packed your things?>

<Huh?>

<I'm gonna take you three with me back to the other world. Hina, you don't need permission anymore if you don't have anyone to get it from. So pack up.>

They said they already had a bag with a few pieces of clothing in it. They were planning on staying with Hina until school was opened again. Assuming it would take long since there will be a lot more investigating that will happen due to this incident reaching the public. Apparently, only a few at our school knew about the last Code: Lucy incident.

The investigation was expected to last for a week or so. But then this situation broke out. And Yuna and Shiina couldn't really go out because of the dangers. Therefore, they are stuck here.

"Well at least they already have some clothes. We could just buy new ones if they needed more."

As I looked at the two in front of me happily chatting, a thought came to mind.

<Actually, since when did you three get close?>

<Ah, that's because we have a lot of things in common. But there is one thing that we really had in common.>

<What's that?>

She held her finger up to her lips as if to tell me that it was a secret. I sighed.

After they finished chatting I asked if they were ready. They all nodded, Yuna nodded a bit sleepily. I snapped my fingers and opened up a portal. They were all taken aback but eventually, the two went in.

I asked Yuna if she wanted me to carry her on my back. She agreed really quickly. I carried her and walked to the portal and went through.

It was farewell to this world… for now at least…
