Chapter 11:

On the day the single was released, it debuted on the US Billboard charts. It was then played on many radio stations and discussed numerous times in journals and newspapers. The single quickly sold out, and Fox had to immediately restock it before distributing it worldwide.

One week after the song's release, it reached number one on the US Billboard charts, a significant jump from its peak position of number 16. This shift was attributed to the influence of his scandal and mysterious identity; the media knew little about him other than that he was Irish.

The song also reached the top of many charts, including the UK Chart, propelling Connor to worldwide fame under his stage name, Mildas.

As he was planning to call home, Connor's phone rang. After he answered, he heard, "Hello, it's Connor O'Riordan on the line." Then came the reply, "Hello, dear Mr. superstar Gilgamesh. How are you? It's your humble subordinate, Dolores."

All of Connor's worries vanished as he smiled, recalling a time when Dolores had pestered him to tell her a story, and he recounted the Fate series to her.

He replied, "Hmm, humble subordinate, how are you?"

Dolores responded, "Okay, stop the joke! Oh my God, Connie, you're now an international superstar, and I can hear your song everywhere. Even my band loves your song." Then, remembering something, she added, "Sorry, I was excited. How about your relationship with that nasty woman and the media that keeps slandering you? Is everything alright?"

Connor smiled, appreciating the openness he shared with his sister. He said, "Forget about her. You know me; I don't care about what others say. In fact, as you know from my song, I invited an orchestra to play, and I want to invite your band to play on the album as well. What do you think?"

Dolores immediately became happy, knowing her brother was doing it for her, as he always took care of her since they were children. Still, she was afraid of causing trouble for him if the album didn't meet expectations.

She replied, "Are you sure? Will it not bother you?"

Connor understood her concerns but was confident that even if his next single wasn't as popular as the current one, the album he was planning, a collection of many classics, would still impress.

He was planning to produce an epic blockbuster album.

The filming of "When Harry Met Sally" would begin next week, so he planned to start producing the album after the movie was finished.

Today is July 4th, the script reading session for "When Harry Met Sally."

The movie in which he starred had been released for about a month and had already grossed $60 million, $10 million more than the original in the same period in his original time and space. His single had topped the US Billboard charts for one week now.

When the crew saw Connor arriving, they were surprised. He had become one of the most watched people in America, with many anticipating his movie's success. They were curious about the movie he was so optimistic about, the one that led him to break up with his girlfriend. So when the rest of the crew saw him enter the script reading room, they were shocked.

Connor was curious about who would play the role of Sally in the movie and was surprised to find that it was Julie Roberts, Meg's illusory rival.

When Julia Roberts saw Connor entering the room, she was so shocked that she let out an 'oh' and then quickly said, "Sorry, I didn't mean anything. I was just shocked."

Connor nodded with a smile and said, "Don't worry," as if he didn't care.

During the script reading session, he didn't hesitate to share his concerns.

Meanwhile, the media, who tracked his every move, immediately noticed his presence and began digging for information about the crew, tentatively named "When They Met."

The next day, news about Connor starring in the movie surfaced. It was reported that the movie had a budget of about $15 million, and Connor would be paid $800,000 plus 5% of the total box office earnings, as it was a low-budget production.

News about all the people involved in the movie spread, and when Connor was asked why he chose this movie, he said, "I met Nora last year, during which I saw the script and really liked the idea she wanted to present."

In an interview, Nora said, "In fact, Connor participated in the creation of the script since last year, before becoming popular, and he gave me many fantastic ideas. He promised to participate in the audition for the movie." She then added, a little flustered and excited because people kept criticizing the movie she had spent about three years perfecting, "That's why I really don't understand. He liked and participated in the creation and finalization of the script, so he wanted to participate in the movie, in which his name would be mentioned as a co-screenwriter. But people keep accusing him as if he had done something heinous. He's just a child, a 16-year-old child who left his home to come to Hollywood to chase his dream."
