It was the second week of August and things were getting pretty heated with the reopening of the Edgar Callum murder case. It was splashed all over the news in conjunction with the Fairlane trafficking case. The media had somehow made both trials about Katie tying her into the Fairlane case by her romantic relationship with one of their victims. On every local station she would see pictures of herself in that bright orange jumpsuit when she was seventeen years old or a more recent one of her talking to Anne Phillips incognito. As a result, of that Ms. Phillips was currently away from the news desk 'on assignment' and this bitchy woman named Rebecca Willis was tearing Katie and Aiden's character to shreds beside the regular male announcer, Parker Whitt, who looked extremely uncomfortable.
