People were staring. They had their phone out taking pictures like she was some sort of celebrity. Amanda had dropped her off at the campus administrative building and she had walked in with her ID in hand and went straight to the registrars office, removing her hood, glasses and mask on the way. Of course, being the loud mouthed attention seeker that he was, the registrar, Mr. Oden had announced her presence.

"Ah! Ms. Quinn! I wondered if you would be coming in today!" He shouted and she visibly cringed.

The chatter in the office had stopped and people looked up staring at her. She did her best to ignore them as she looked at the stump of a man that grinned excitedly at her.

"Seems like you and Mr. Lawrence have made quite a stir this summer." He continued.

She pulled a note pad out and wrote , I have laryngitis. Is my paperwork ready?
