Chapter 5 - Keep it a secret from them

With Allent and Serra at the table talking.

They finished eating and are ready to say anything.

Serra : Please ,like I said don't tell them what I tell you.

Allent : Is this alarming matter ,Serra just say it .

Serra : When I hugged Alois ,I saw the person who hurt our son . He was blonde and his eyes were emerald turned red .

Allent : Blonde what was it a man or a boy?

Serra : A boy , Allent I'm scared that boy looked so ,so ,so evil.

Allent : Now calm down, you are going to wake them up.

Serra : You must understand I have a bad feeling about this boy.

Allent : I do get it, seeing you trembling is enough to make me believe it is so.

Serra : It's almost that time when they either have to go to the military and if he can't speak what are we going to do?

Allent : We have time to solve everything ( hugs Serra tightly). You should relax and think of calm thoughts.

Serra : I just hope he leaves our family alone.

(hugs Allent back)

They both go to sleep and turn off the candle.

With Kaine at her room in bed writting in her diary.

Dear Diary ,

Keep this a secret from the people around me but I don't feel so safe anymore. At the festival , I felt panic just seeing so many people in one place. My breath felt heavy and my heart was beating like a hammer. What's more heart skipping was the fact that one if the boys I'm going to meet has kissed my palm of my hand.

I didn't think he would be so bold to do that . He has my interest for sure. Now I don't know how I am going to sleep.

Alice on the other hand , never have I ever seen her act that way. Except maybe that one time Alice got mad at me and started to blame herself over spilling tea on the floor.; I hope it's not a phase she is going through. To think she'd blame herself , over her brothers injury.

I am glad though that her parents were more understanding. I hope they catch who ever hurt Alois ,he doesn't deserve to live like this.

Kaine goes back to sleep and covers up.

With Alleyson going to her room and sees Drew.

Alleyson : Big brother wait!

Drew : What's wrong? Want me to read you a story before you go to bed?

Alleyson : I want to know why did you lie about being here early . Changing your clothes too.

Drew : Alleyson ...what do you know?! How do you know I lied ? Huh!? ( closes the door behind her).

Alleyson : I only asked because , you'd clean your shoes but I see they are bloody . Plus the blood on the kitchen floor you missed a spot .

Drew : ( laughs ) You came here to tell me this?!

Alleyson : I also came to warm you our parents are thinking of talking to you about a big change. So get ready.

Drew : Alleyson wait ! Keep this a secret from them all.

I may have blacked out in the moment of the festival.

I don't know when or how but , I woke up to the sound of the firecrackers. Found out I had blood on my hands. Washed the floor and stuff.

Alleyson : You forgot about your weapon , bloody on the dinning table, I saw it on time and covered it with a cloth. ( hands over the cloth to Drew). Don't worry ,I will keep my lips sealed.

Drew : Thanks, now go to your room .( looks up at the ceiling) Ha, to think she'd help me out. ( exhales )

Drew tries to go to sleep and covers up.
