The Immortal [Invincible]

Henry is a man fascinated by all things fictional be it their science, art or even the powers. Valuing their impossible science above all else. What happens when he suddenly finds himself in such a universe specifically the Invincible-verse? Would he remain a scientist at heart? Will he be a hero? Or Would he be ==== For the previous fans of this work, thank you for bearing with me all this while. The Book will be deleted from my other account soon though. Six months

When Six was done, Henry inspected the work to ensure that it was done well after all this sort of thing was complex even for a virtual intelligence of Six's calibre. Ensuring that everything was done well.

Henry edited the non-personal information, leaving behind only relevant things since most of it was on the things the twin had seen, eaten or when it had urinated.

Henry didn't need all that information, he wanted the scientific knowledge the twins held.

A few hours later, Henry uploaded the finished work back into the drive and put it back into the helmet.

Just as the helmet could extract memories, it could also inject them back into the mind after all it all works the same way just that extracting is much easier than putting back in but it wasn't all that difficult.

Henry placed the helmet on his head and activated it. Immediately Henry experienced the same electric shock as the twin had experienced but unlike the twin, he felt a steady stream of information flow into his mind.

Henry knew this was all the scientific information he had gotten from the Twin's mind.

Henry already knew most of the things found in there but since it wasn't his speciality, he didn't know much so while he gained the same things from the helmet, it was explained in better depth.

Before he could recreate Sinclair's experiment better than the boy had but with the same general structure but now, he could probably develop the same mind control device but a far much more portable and better version of it that you wouldn't even notice that the person is being mind controlled

Unless they were familiar with the person and as for the improvement part of the experiment, he didn't need to change the human body parts for a robotic part instead he could just create a serum that would improve the body.

From the knowledge he gained, Henry could tell that the original Mauler was probably a normal human who created a set of genetically modified bodies for himself and transferred his memories to them, the bodies being the current Mauler twins.

The very fact that the original had the knowledge to create a body as powerful as the Mauler twins were, proved just how smart and knowledgeable he was but it also proved that both twins were clones.

A few hours later, the information stream was done so Henry removed the helmet then started his actual work of trying to make Viltrumite DNA accept his, without suppressing his own powers.

With the current knowledge he had now, he could achieve it though it would be very difficult.

Unlike Cecil and his team in the comics and series, Henry didn't want to create something to destroy the cell or something like that, instead, he was manipulating the cell.

It was much more difficult than trying to find a biological weapon that could destroy the cells but unlike that one, this was actually achievable.

The Scourge virus had made it so that all Viltrumites at the moment had developed an immense resistance to poisons and toxins but the only thing Henry may find difficult was the Smart atoms which would refuse to adapt to any other form of power but he could do it.

Six Months later

Inside the lab, Henry was standing above a seemingly lifeless version of himself. The body looked absolutely no different from the current him.

The only difference was that this one couldn't move since it didn't have any sort of consciousness or driving power behind it.

Looking at the body, Henry smiled proudly after all he had just created a hybrid that had potential far beyond that of a normal Viltrumite.

This body was the final product after a long line of abominations and even when he started perfecting the body, he still needed to optimise the body to optimum performance.

To make it the best of both races just like Thragg or Allen the Alien was enhanced.

The Immortal may be considered human but with his DNA and genome structure, it would be better to classify him as a whole different species of human.

The Energy sphere had changed his entire DNA structure leaving only the general structure of a human. So to achieve the best, Henry had optimized the two cells to be the best of their species and thus the resulting body was just perfect.

"Six, activate lockdown," Henry said

"Ok sir, Locking down compound now" Six replied and almost immediately Henry started to hear several sounds as an energy shield covered each door, window and the walls of the building.

Anyone looking at the house from the outside wouldn't even notice any difference as the shields seemed to attach themselves to the walls and windows.

Noticing that the sounds had stopped, Henry went to lie down on the other side of the apparatus in which the body was lying on.

As he lay down, he picked up the helmet which was connected to the apparatus and put it on. After taking a deep breath, Henry activated the device and instantly he fell down backwards as his eyes went blank.

The device was created for the main purpose of transferring his consciousness to the new body. The device was just an upgraded version of the Mauler twins' memory-cloning device.

It allowed Henry to completely extract someone's consciousness and transfer it into another body without any problems. Of course, Henry had tested it both legally and illegally.

The first part was done with the victim's permission and they were paid handsomely as for the other part, Henry only added just to confirm if the device would transfer the consciousness of anyone even if they had superpowers.

Both tests had worked perfectly. As Henry activated the device, he immediately felt as though he was floating inside a massive tunnel.

The feeling was extremely strange especially since he knew that he wasn't using his powers but it wasn't uncomfortable in any way.
