How I Got into the Human World

"Celestine, you must not touch that mirror, it leads to a world full of danger and pain." Coraine, Celestine's big sister caught her staring at the Mirror of the Humans. Since she was young, there seems to be a voice that calls her name which comes from the mirror and since then, there will always be a time that she will try to touch it. "If you touch that, you will wake up in a different body, your wings will be gone, the glitter in you iris will be gone, your pointy ears will disappear, and you suffer to live its life forever!" Her sister keeps on talking but the voice that calls her is much louder, "Come, we're ready for you! It's time!" it says, and unknowingly she touched it. For a moment she saw things she had never seen in her world. The lights, thousands of people in front of her, and a weird cylindrical material is in her hands. "Hey! You listening?" Her sister pulls her to make her look at her. She blinks fast to see if what she saw is real, but she sees her sister's beautiful face. "Yeah, you're getting married," she remembered. "Tonight we'll be having a celebration, right?" Celestine asks, her sister blushed about the idea of marriage. She loves the person she is going to marry which is very rare in their world. You will have to marry the Goddess asks you to, "It is to keep the balance of the world," she says. But her sister is lucky to be engaged to her lover. "Yeah, better get dressed. You may not know who you will meet." Her sister said then winked at her before leaving.

Celestine spent most of the time staring at the mirror before getting ready for the celebration. One thing she hates is the crowd which is why she did not go to the hall and mingle with the visitors. She went to the mirror instead and stared at it once again. She looked at herself, her skin is not smooth like her sister. She is not like her sister, she is ugly. Those thoughts were the very first thing that she thinks when she sees her sister. Even if she loves her, she knows that she will never be like her. And before she knows it, she lost her consciousness and realized she touched the mirror.

She woke up in a different body, in a different world- the human world, a world full of negativity. She felt the tiredness of the body which made her sleep again.
