The scandal
Axis21's concert was spectacular. Not a hair short from the best boy band in the world. Amy wasn't feeling good the last few weeks, but all her sorrows disappeared when she entered the stadium. It's like entering a candy store offering free candies for all.
She remembered that she loved herself. She caught herself dancing, screaming, and fan-chanting with the rest of the fans. She was genuinely enjoying herself.
After the concert, they went to a different venue for VVIP ticket holders. There has been a rumor that the boy band members usually come to the after parties, but this hasn't been confirmed or denied.
Trying her luck, Maddie dragged the two girls to the party.
"Even if the members don't come, at least we get to party with our fellow Axis and" Maddie paused to look at Celine, "food is great." Maddie and Celine cheered. 'These two foodies will never say no to a buffet.' Amy thought.
Following behind them, Amy was feeling anxious. She was in hot waters with BMZ, a celeb gossip network, not so long ago. They did an episode of Noah's scandal. 'IT couple not so IT anymore,' their headline read.
It mentioned how after winning the state championship, Noah Swarzky, the MVP and quarterback of this year's state football champion, was caught kissing, dancing, and flirting with a mysterious woman who was not Amelia Fitzgerald; daughter of the medical and research powerhouse of country Q.
'The issue had just died down.' Amy thought to herself. 'What if someone sees me here and takes things the wrong way? I don't want to go through that hell of internet bashing and trolling again.'
Amy and Noah had been high school sweethearts. They grew up as neighbors in a privileged neighborhood. They were the couple everyone wished a couple would be until it was not.
They started dating in high school. But because Amy is exceptionally gifted, she skipped grades and entered university at an early age. By the time Noah graduated high school, Amy was already in the last year of her pre-med studies. They continued their relationship through college.
Not only is Noah tall, tan, and handsome, but he also has been scouted by professional football teams in his early years as their university's quarterback. He won 3 championships and has been the MVP for the past four seasons. People say he is gonna be a football legend. Noah was famous and always has been.
Amy was making her mark in the medical field as well. During her junior year, her research about autism won her an award in Biomedical Sciences. She was infamous in her area.
During Noah's final year in university, Amy was offered an internship to work at the Global Health Organization's research area in Japan. It was Amy's dream job. She'd be able to do research on children and their neurological development while being able to operate and work as a surgeon.
The day before the championship game, Noah and Amy went on a date by the lakeside. Amy was thrilled that day. She was excited to tell Noah about her internship in Japan and how honored she was to be selected.
After they ate their lovely, romantic dinner. Amy was about to tell Noah about her internship when Noah suddenly knelt down in front of her, the sunset gleaming beautifully behind him, and took out a box from his pocket.
"Amelia Elizabeth Fitzgerald, tomorrow I will win my final year as a quarterback at XZ university. After that, I will work as the QB* of YZ state football team. Our dreams are coming true. You are being recognized as the best pediatric-neurological doctor, and I, the future QB of YZ. " Noah said, his voice shaking uncontrollably, unable to compose himself.
"Today, I want to achieve the one thing I have worked so hard for the moment I laid my eyes on you. Amy, please let me be your husband. Will you marry me?" Noah proposed, holding an elegant diamond ring.
