Episode 15

The great monarch Nebakan passed away, ascended to join his predecessors, and his magic filled Esteria's Ramava as it flowed over the landscape. It marked the end of one era and the start of another. When Lily learned of the news, she was in class. The first person who came to mind was Aiden, and she assumed he would be distressed and anxious about his new obligations. The passing of the ancient monarch wasn't really a surprise to the people because they had all expected it since he had ruled for so long.

In the weeks she had been in Esteria she and Aiden had grown quite close and developed a beautiful friendship. Also, there was a romantic and sexual tension that they both tried to ignore. For some reason also Aidem constantly flirted with her, he had not made a move or tried to kiss her. This frustrated Lily greatly as she couldn't understand why he held back when she was more than willing to explore a romantic connection with him. Time like this she wished her mother was here so she could ask her advice. Mikka her new friend was more than happy to advise her hit she wants exactly knowledgeable about dating and boys but she had never had a boyfriend herself. This connection she shared with Aiden was something she will have to navigate all on her own.

Once her classes for the day were over she made her way to the girl's hostel to get ready for Prince Aiden's soon-to-be King coronation. As she was walking to her room she got intercepted by three girls, they were witches. Lily had seen them around the school grounds and on several occasions tried to boyfriend them, as they were popular and very stylish. Everyone wanted to be their friend but her every attempt was met with rejection and prejudice.

"Figured you would be queen now that Prince Aidej is to be crowned King ?" said Nita the queen b.

"Excuse you?" Lily replied repulsed and offended by their audacity.

"A half-breed has never been queen and never will be," added Elena the second girl.

"Oh I see what's going on here, you are jealous that I and the prince share a connection and now that he is to be king I will be friends with the king of Esteria, and you bitches can't stand that ?" Lily added in a condescending tone.

"Bitvhes? Is that some earthling slang listen here you have breed. You will never be anything more than a freak. We know what you are, and you are not wanted here. Go back to your world and leave us be."

"Oh dear and I was under the impression that the witches had manners."

"You've been warned half-breed. Said Nita as she and her possies walked away. Muttering under their breaths.

Lily let out a deep breath and continued to her room.

As she opened her room door, to her surprise a beautiful dress, shoes and jewelry were laid out for her. With a note from Prince Aiden, excited she opened it quickly and it read; "of you would do me the honor of gracing my coronation with your presence, I would be very at ease knowing you are here with me on this very important day. I hope you like the outfit I had a palace maid have the dress maker design one for you. Your rise will be arriving before sunset. Signed King Aiden."

Lily was smiling from ear to ear, this gesture washed away the very sour taste those switches left in her mouth earlier. The fact that Aiden wmated her present for the most important moment in his life kind of signalled to her that he might like her. She was ecstatic, she rushed to shower and get ready. As she was applying make-up she noticed her skin began turning red, horrid red bumps broke out of her skin, and she screamed horrified by the sight of them. She had been cursed by the three witches she encountered earlier. No doubt to prevent her from meeting Aiden. She couldn't show up at the palace looming like this, she ransacked her entire bedroom looking for the book of spells. She tried different spell combination but to no avail, an hoir had passed already and she was no where close to ridding her self of those horrid bumps. She couldn't miss Aiden's coronation, he would never forgive her. She suddenly remembered that miss hugger had taught them curse transferance a couple weeks ago. She looked around her rook

Frantic ally for an object she could transfer the first to the only thing in sight was her favorite teddy bear. He heart sank, that teddy bear had been her anchor to home, her mother had hinted her the teddy bear when she turned seven and she had kept it safe for ten years, it was her best friend and held all her secrets. But she had no other choice, she held the teddy bear and with tears in her eyes began to chant the incsntation to transfer the curse. The teddy bear caught on fire and burned. She was devastated, she pushed through her sadness and got dressed. She keot telling her self that Aiden was worth it and being with him on this special day was worth loosing her favorite teddy bear. She exited her room and found the carriage sent for her by the prince and began her journey to the palace for his coronation.
