Chapter 3: Doing Nothing

19 years that I lived here, I never regretted getting into the hero business. I read enough fanfiction to know what happens if you change something. What I had yet to realize that this was the world where I live and breath this is my second chance at life not that I needed it.

In my previous life, I lived a good I was born to a normal household and lived a good life, but it was cut when I died in an accident at the age of 32. My parents were already passed away and I had no wife or kids. I still remember the of blood filling my lungs, a steel shard had pierced my lungs; drowning in your own blood is a not the way to go.

Then I came to this world as the son of Robert Vastine and Cassie Vastine. It took me a few years to accept them as my parents, Robert and Cassie where parents anyone would be glad to have. After 3 years I came to know that I am in the DC Universe And then I thought should I get involved in that mess filled with heroes, villains and aliens. I was excited, come on I mean your in a world where the impossible is possible so I geared up to be a hero. I started to train my body to learn mix martial arts and other fighting forms I was like this till fifteen. Then one day I went to Metropolis on a trip there I saw Superman fight Metallo. Well, that fight had caused a lot of collateral damage and me, I couldn't even help those injured people on the road because I was scared. That day broke my spirit to be a hero if I could not save those people then how was I suppose to save others. Then I just gave up the whole being a hero business. Now four years afterwards I regret that I gave up. I wanted to beat myself for giving up if I didn't maybe there would be a chance of saving both my parents now I have to live with my mistake.

I have to change I have to do something I don't want to be powerless.

Gotham City is not something that you can clean up and I am not Bruce Wayne do it. The Batman is just one man and tries to change Gotham but he should have realized that Crime and Corruption are parasites that grew with the city no matter what you do it keeps coming back. The Bat put the criminal in prison and they just break out for there and cause more damage. Gotham needs a clean slate. And for I will have to go through bodies, blood and also supervillains. And need to change this city from the top to bottom and I am going to start with Victor Zsasz.

I going to kill that man for that I need Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot.
