She is feeling Deja vu

~~

Next morning;

The sun rays woke Ashutosh up, who stared at his surroundings and himself. He stares at the girl lying in his arms, his mark shining brightly in her bosom, declaring her as his mate.

If she hadn't been his mate, then the mark of his fangs would have long vanished away. Luckily, he didn't end up with the wrong girl. He yanked her out of his arm, who still kept sleeping soundly, then he got up, found his clothes, and got dressed while throwing her clothes on her naked body.

Ah, what a stupid easy girl! He sighed then stared once again at the place, where the van had been burned and he just smirked coldly. It serves them right. At least they contributed to letting him achieve his purpose. Besides, Vivek was becoming a threat to him, trying to boss him around.

Serves him right. Now he can rest forever in his afterlife. Well, he can replace his driver and Vivek with someone else. After all, there are many humans who would be more than willing to fill the places of the dead. He stared at his surroundings, then closed his eyes and green light escaped out, creating a shield. Now, it will ensure no communication with the outside world. He tossed his mobile away.

He then went back to the place where he spent the night with the still sleeping bimbo. He removes the clothes from her bosom, then stares at the mark. After which, he closed his eyes, placed his hand over the mark, and chanted a spell. A purple light is generated and it makes the marks invisible to the human eye.

Once he was done, then he again lay down on the grass, while wondering what he should do next? But he didn't get much time to think about that, as the sleeping beauty finally stirred. Let him roll his eyes, then get back to an ideal partner image of his.

When Yuvika opened her eyes, she was shocked by the sight in front of her. A big hand with long, slender fingers was protecting her from the light. She turn around only to see a heart-melting gaze and an awestruck smile on her husband's face, which was aiming at her.

She stared further and realized it was his arm that was acting as a pillow to her when she exhausted away and fell asleep from all the passion and love her husband was showcasing.

She blushed slightly and then turned away, only to get flipped and end up landing on her original position. He kissed her forehead and smiled.' Good morning, Miss Chauhan.'

She beamed with a smile and nodded, not being able to form the wordy reply. He smiled and then looked away, back to the same direction, where the tragedy happened with them.

' Take your time. I will be there.' He finally said, making her shyer, then left for the place as if to analyze the situation.

She got dressed up in a hurry, not really wanting to embarrass herself further.

Soon, she catches up with her husband and stares at the site.

'Is there any hope?'She asked despite knowing the answer, so well.

'Until we see their dead bodies, there is. I am planning to go down, to check on them, if by any chance, they have escaped the calamity or something.

Would you like to come with me, Miss Chauhan? Or would you like to stay here and wait for the aid?' He asked her with a hint of seriousness, which was quite understandable to her when the person they were talking about was their friend.

'Of course, I am coming with you. I also want to help him, or he might nag me to death, later.'She said with a smile, tears brimming in her eyes. Yes, she hopes Vivek will be safe.

Ashutosh pulls her in a bear hug as if to share his warmth and comfort with her. As expected, she did get some motivation. Now, all that matters to her is to find Vivek. No matter in whatever condition he might be. Unless he isn't dead, they can save him.

Ashutosh looked for the path and motioned her to follow him. Soon, they started walking down towards the river. But unfortunately, the road ends into the dense forest, not the riverside where they were walking.

They stare at each other, then decide to continue walking till they reach the riverbank.

~~

They were walking for half an hour, yet it seems like they kept getting deeper and deeper inside the forest, rather than getting towards the riverbank.

Yuvika remained cheerful and optimistic while looking for a way, while Ashutosh would just follow her like an obedient, sweet husband. But when she decided to rest, he stared at one of the trees behind her back and closed his eyes, and muttered a spell.

Soon, a greenish-white circle originated in front of the tree bark, then it expanded, and in its middle, the blackish hole appeared. Before he could say anything, the portal sucked the soon-to-be-screaming duo inside. Once they vanished into the black hole of the greenish-white portal, the portal also disappeared.

Yuvika opened her eyes only to see herself lying in the beach area. The sound of the birds, who were flying above, the sound of the waves crashing with each other, the hot, scorching sun.

She rubbed her eyes to check whether she was hallucinating or not. She was lying on the sand of the beach, in front of her, to her right was a vast sea, whose waves were sweeping the sand of the beach every now and then.

In the sky, the bird was flying. While to her left was the way to the woods, which must reach the peak, where her eyesight reached. Her mind got colluded with thoughts, where was she? How did she end up here? W-Wait, where is her husband?

Where is her boss? Where are they? What on the earth just happened?

She shut her brain and started looking for her boss, whom she couldn't find. Then, she heard the soft, low coughing sound of a human and followed it. There it was, her boss, lying unconscious on the ground.

She checks on him and wonders whether he got shocked with this sudden turn of events too. She ran towards the sea, collected some water in her palm, and ran towards the lying figure. She sprinkles the water on Ashutosh's face.

But it didn't affect him. So, she searched around and luckily found an empty coconut shell, in which she brought water and sprinkle it again on Ashutosh. She saw how his eyebrows wrinkled, then how he opened his eyes.

He seems as lost as her.

'Where are…' Ashutosh didn't complete his sentence. Since he knows she has no clue about their whereabouts.

'Let's focus on how we can get out of here.'He said to which she gladly nodded.

She knows how worried Ashutosh must be, at present, perks of being with him for a really long time. She knows how much he respects her, one of the reasons why despite being disturbed greatly, he didn't let her worry or ask her, even giving her a task to put her mind at ease.

They checked the waterside first. But there was no boat that could help them get out of the unknown place they were in. Then, they follow the path of wood. They thought they might have to pave their way. But they hadn't even entered deeper into the woods when they saw a well-maintained, well-paved, well-carved stone pathway.

Bringing a small smile to their faces. They started following the direction of the pathway, which led them out of the woods, to the village. They saw a well-organized village. Unique in itself. Because it was the village version of the city.

Surrounded by stone-carved roads, the kutcha houses were there. The walls of the houses were made of mud, the roof was made of slates and the doors and windows were made up of wood, even the boundary given to the house was made up of bamboo.

Next to these houses were sheds, whose walls were made of mud, the roof of straw, and the pillars, doors, and windows of wood. Many domestic animals could be seen resting near the sheds.

But strangely, there was no one. No humans. Just animals, birds, and insects. They kept roaming around, only to find more houses, shops, food stalls, grocery stores, and many buildings that gave the vibes of the authority-related places.

They kept roaming around and around, in order to find anyone, from whom they can seek help. But there was none. When they saw water well, Yuvika was able to quench her thirst. They saw many fields, a school building, a dispensary, and a temple.

They kept roaming in the way the road was leading them to. Though strangely, most of the time Yuvika feels a deja vu as if she has seen this place somewhere before. As if she has visited this place before. Strange, isn't it. But she kept these thoughts to herself.
