A Very Clively Greeting

The carriage came to a halt in front a lovely looking perfume shop. The shop had pretty flowers in the front and perfume bottles on display at the widow.

*Hmm, is this where Barron Cohen lives? I thought he'd live in some huge house far from the city.*

"Greetings Victoria! " A man greeted as Victoria got out of her carriage.

"You must be Baron Cohen Clive." Victoria said to the man.

"Why yes I am! " the Baron responded.

The Baron was a tall man, he had long black hair, silver eyes and sharp fangs.

*Whoa, his fangs are huge.*

"Greetings Victoria, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. " A girl from behind the Baron spoke.

The girl was obviously Lady Caroline. No doubt that she was the spitting image of her father. She was the same height as her father, had long black hair that reached her waist, silver eyes and some really sharp fangs. Looking at the two of them together, they were very stunning.

*I look nothing like them, well, except for my hair. Even my skin is a lot tanner than theirs. The two of them are really pale.*

"Thank you so much for letting me stay in your home. I know it's such a huge favor to ask. " Victoria bowed.

"It's no problem my dear. Your father has helped us so many times, it's be rude to turn a blind eye when he's in trouble. " The Baron spoke.

"Plus, you're one of now, so please come in, this is your new home. " Lady Caroline said as she motioned for Victoria to enter.

"Ah! Thank you! "

Victoria entered the perfume shop and immediately, she sensed the smell of fragrance in the air.

*Huh, I don't recognize this scent.*

"You like the smell? Only Vampires can smell it. " Caroline remarked.

"Really? It's smell really good. " Victoria praised.

"Were glad you like it. The smell actually helps calm down the wolf spirit of the newly awakened vampires."

*Calm the wolf spirit?*

Victoria's bags were delivered upstairs and Caroline sat her down in the living room, while the Baron made some tea.

*Wow, this place is pretty homey for a business shop. I guess that's expected since they live here.*

Victoria continued to look around. She admired the old architecture and small trinkets displayed in the living room. She breathed in the fragrance of the unknown smell and felt the calming effect on her shoulders. It's not the like normal perfume scent where breathing in too much makes you nauseous, it was like a natural scent that made you feel better every time you breathed it in.

"I see that the fragrance really suits you. " Caroline commented.

"Oh, umm, sorry if I'm being rude. "

"No no! It's completely fine! We don't have a huge amount of customers coming in the shop since there aren't a lot of vampires out there, and we usually deliver our stocks through the mail, since most of our clientele live quite far from Elizabeth, so seeing you enjoy it, is quite rewarding to see."

*Wow, she's really nice.*

"Well it's a really nice fragrance, it's too bad that only vampires can smell this, I bet that if other people could smell it, they'd be lining up to buy your perfume. "

"Aww, well don't look at it like that, it sounds sad. It's fine though, making Hycinthian perfume is quite the work. There's also not a lot of Hycinthian flowers out there, so finding one is quite rare. Luckily, we have a supplier. "

So the name of this scent is Hycinthian. I like it.

"By the way, Victoria. I've been meaning to ask you a question ever since you came here, but, are you sure there's no one in your family that is a vampire? " Caroline asked, her face becoming serious.

"What? "

"Well, newly awakened Vampires usually have a wolf spirit that clings onto them. I guess you could say that it's like they summoned the spirit from hell. "

*Why is she telling me all this?*

"No one really knows how or where the spirit comes from, but we do know that it is summoned on the day you awaken, and to summon a really powerful spirit, requires a huge amount of power and energy. Though I don't have Ethereal magic, I can sense your aura, just like how you can sense mine. "

*Hmm, I do sense her Aura but it's quite faint, same thing goes for the Baron.*

"So when I saw you this morning, I couldn't help but feel a shiver down my spine. Same thing goes for my father, I could sense him trembling before you. "

*What?*

"But I know that you wouldn't hurt us, that's why we let you in. We trust your father, and we would never turn our back on him, since he has helped us a lot. But your aura is quite alarming. Like, every time I come near you, it's like I can't help but feel that overwhelming fear. So I'm oddly curious if what your family says is true, and that's if all your ancestors are from the Kingdom of Light. But yet here you are, a vampire, born from light magic, yet you posses very powerful dark magic."

*How the hell should I know the answer to that?*

"I don't actually know why I'm like this, I'm just as confused as you are. But if one of my ancestors really did posses dark magic, it would make a lot more sense as to why I'm like this. But I don't know, so I can't really say anything for sure. But I can tell you this. "

Victoria cleared her throat as she readied herself to speak.

"I can assure you that you do not need to be afraid, I can't hurt the people who are trying to help me, but if you do feel uncomfortable, I wouldn't mind leaving. " Victoria explained.

"LEAVING?! WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT LEAVING?! " The Baron exclaimed from behind.

"I'm sorry father! I was just asking Victoria about her aura. " Caroline told the the Baron.

"Oh, that. Well, yes, it is quite hard not to notice, but Victoria isn't leaving, we promised Burby that we would help, so please Victoria, continue to stay with us." The Baron asked with sincerity in his voice.

"Well, if the two of you are alright with it them of course! I'll try to figure out a way to suppress my aura so that you don't have to feel all the time. "

"Huh? What are you saying? There's no way you can suppress your aura, it's just there. " Caroline explained.

"Then how do I make you less scared of me?"

"Darling, there's no need for us to be so uptight around you anymore, I can see that you are just like you're father. Very considerate and kind. But an aura is like a physical trait, it's there for everyone to see, or feel? As only people with Ethereal magic can see aura's. " the Baron explained.

"But if what if I want to keep it sealed? I don't want anyone feeling this aura or even seeing my spirit, I have to keep a low profile. "

Baron Cohen and Lady Caroline looked at each other and nodded.

"Well there is a way for you to seal your powers, but wearing it means you are also suppressing your abilities." The Baron said to Victoria.

Lady Caroline left the living room and headed upstairs. Victoria could hear her rummaging through some things from downstairs. Not after a while, Lady Caroline came back downstairs with a small box in her hand.

"There is only one way someone can hide their aura, and that is to Walmart this." Lady Caroline presented Victoria the box.

Victoria took the box and opened it. Inside was a pretty, yet simple looking necklace, with a ruby stone on it's end.

"It's beautiful, what is it for? " Victoria asked as she admired the necklace.

"It's a Hycinthian stone. The stone is named after the flower, since the stone only works on vampires. " Caroline answered.

"It should help you keep a low profile at school, but you have to make sure you take it off every night. " The Baron warned.

"What? Why? "

"Well awakening is like going through another puberty stage for vampires. The process isn't complete until we fully become one with the wolf spirit and be able to turn into a werewolf as much as we please. It's part of the process in maturing our magical powers, but the Hycinthian stone is like a puberty blocker for newly awakened vampires, if you don't take it off for at least 8 hours, you could delay the process, and that's not really good for your health or your mentality. " Caroline explained to Victoria.

"So your saying that until I can become a werewolf, I should take the necklace off every night?"

"Yes that is what you need to do if you are planing on wearing a Hycinthian stone. " the Baron replied.

"Well I can do that! Thank you! " Victoria thanked.

Victoria took out the necklace from the box and put it on her neck. Baron Cohen took a mirror and placed it in front of Victoria.

Victoria couldn't help but like how the necklace looked on her. Victoria knew that she was good looking, so she didn't mind spoiling her beauty a little.

"Haha, it seems as though you really like it ey?" the Baron teased.

"Of course I do! It's very nice of you to lend me this, I'll be sure to give it back! "

"Oh no need, the necklace is actually mine, but father and I don't really need it because we don't need to hide our auras. So you can keep it. " Caroline offered.

"Really?! " Victoria asked.

"Yep!"

"Ooohh, Thank you! "

Victoria gave Caroline a hug. When Victoria was Emily, she had the habit of being quite grateful every time she received a gift. So it's not so different now that she became Victoria.

"Haha, it looks like we'll be getting along with Victoria really well. Now enough with the chit chat and let's get ready. " The Baron said.

"Huh ready for what? " Victoria asked.

"Oh my, have you forgotten already? " Caroline joined.

Victoria titled her head for she didn't know what they were talking about. She looked down at her outfit and realized that she was wearing her uniform.

*Oh, that's right. I have to go to my new school.*
