She maintained her stance without blinking despite how terrified his stare made her, and just when she thought she would break, he dropped it.

"Come with me tomorrow." He ordered.

She let out the breath she had been holding discreetly. "Where?"

He didn't say anything and merely unhooked their arms and walked away.

She shrugged. That probably meant she should stop asking questions and simply get herself ready for the following day. So she did. With no idea when they would set off, she went to bed early so she would wake up early enough and have enough time to fumble with her dress before it was time to leave.

Alas, no matter how early she was to rise, it was still hectic to dress up on her own. A thin layer of sweat coated her forehead and she was out of breath—after only managing to fight on her underclothes. On the bright side, her corset was not too tight this time. It was just right.
