"Okay, Grandpa," she said, patting his hand.
"I'll keep an eye out. But no promises." She added quickly when she noticed his eyes lit up.
He was probably thinking of becoming her unappointed match maker, ready to match her up with some eligible bachelor.
"Promises, shmomises," he scoffed.
"I don't believe you for a second. Now, get up from this table and go mingle. You're too young to be sitting around like an old hen." He added and with a dramatic wave of his hand, Grandpa Han shooed her away.
Emberly, still laughing, rose from her seat. "Fine, fine, I'm going," she said, feigning exasperation.
"But only because you asked so nicely." She joked and made her way into the crowd.
As Emberly moved to join the other guests, Grandpa Han watched her with a satisfied smile.
