Lisa's eyes widened slightly in surprise and a hint of confusion when she received a short text from Jonathan requesting to meet up so that they could talk.
She glanced at her wrist watch to confirm the time.
It was still early in the morning and she had just arrived at work.
Lisa looked at the message for a while, quite skeptical.
What could Jonathan want from her after all he had put her through? Could it be another of Ivy's schemes?
Her brows furrowed slightly as she decided to exercise caution. For all she knew, he could be part of Ivy's scheme.
Though she didn't think Ivy foolish enough to try the same trick twice, Lisa decided to be safe than sorry as she dailed Lian to tell him about the text.
Lian reluctantly let her go to meet up with Jonathan after hiring an additional pair of bodyguards to watch out for her.
