Vanessa Aria narrowed her eyes, scoffing coldly, "Is there a problem with me visiting my fiancé's house?"
Luzern Gartia turned his back to her, pouring a glass of water at the kitchen counter, "Where have you been these days?"
Vanessa Aria's gaze flitted to a box of cherries on the table. She laughed coldly and picked up one, "Are the cherries sweet?"
Luzern Gartia's grip on the cup gradually tightened, his voice devoid of any emotional fluctuation, "We should break up."
The cherry dropped to the floor with a "plop".
Vanessa Aria looked up incredulously, "What did you say?
"I wronged you, but I can't marry you."
Vanessa Aria slowly drew a dagger from her waist, "Say that again."
Without any hesitation, Luzern Gartia said, "Tomorrow we'll go see Madam Aria. I'll apologize to her in person. If you want to hit or punish me, as you wish, but I won't marry you."
"Because of the woman from earlier?" Vanessa Aria slowly approached Luzern Gartia.
