Nimrod's voice, worn from fatigue, gently broke the tranquil silence of their concealed sanctuary. He stirred, just awakening to the tender sight of his slumbering wife, Helena. Soft candlelight danced across her face, casting serene shadows that eased the weariness in his gaze.
"Helena?" he murmured, his voice tinged with exhaustion.
In an instant, Queen Helena's eyes flicked open at the sound of Nimrod's voice. She swiftly turned to confirm that it was indeed her beloved husband calling her name. Tears welled unconsciously in her eyes as she delicately brushed her fingers across Nimrod's face.
