Princess Helena and David embarked on a horseback journey, their mounts moving in graceful tandem as they ventured deeper into the forest. The trees, meticulously aligned in their natural patterns, created an enchanting atmosphere. As they approached the forest's heart, David extended his right arm, signaling Princess Helena to halt.
"What's wrong?" Princess Helena inquired while gently tugging at her horse's reins.
David turned to her, his voice a hushed whisper, "I heard the distinct sound of another horse approaching."
The two of them strained their ears, attentively listening as the rhythmic hoofbeats drew nearer. Soon, two figures emerged from the foliage, riding imposing black steeds, donned in darkened war attire, with swords securely sheathed behind them. They seemed to have come from the same direction that Princess Helena and David had traversed.
