walking off to the outside, he went to the batch of recruits that had been accepted into the Crimson lion, which was a talented woman that uses shadow magic

"Zalak huh? what a weird name." She muttered , stretching out her hand "Im veronica"

Seeing the shadow creep up her hand, Zalak said

"Im not a fan of Paralyazing Party trick." Her shadow retreated off her hand and she said

"A vigilant one huh?"

Zalak shrugged, before sitting down "Shadow magic?"

"Yeah, what about you?"

"Copy magic."

"How blessed," She said clicking her tongue before scanning me "You from the boonies as well?"

Zalak looked at her with a smile

"You come from the boonies and able to get it?" He clicked his tongue "You must be talented"

"Oh, yes I am." She put her hand through her hair before laughing "Nah, stay humble."

Feeling a dense amount of mana in the stadium, Zalak opened his grimoire and said

Wings sprouted as he flew above the stadium and watched from the roof

countless captains saw him but chose not to care

Seeing The girl fly up using a shadow beast, he clicked his tongue

"Veronica," She said "The Great Veronica of the boonies." She patted her chest in pride before looking down at the stadium

Yami and asta were having a staring contest while Yami was realsing his thick magical aura onto Asta , who didn't even flinch

"What's wrong with that guy?" Veronica muttered, "He must be powerful to resist captain Yami's power."

"He doesn't have a single shred of mana, that's why." He muttered Zalak, watching as the boy wasn't even fazed

"How did he summon that big ass sword then?"

"Dunno."

Looking at the large shadow monster that had shrunk into a small hamster sized monster, he asked

"What's its name?"

"Nomu, my shadow monster."

Zakai nodded, watching as it demanded pets from him, of which he replied by rubbing its belly

"It seems to like you."

"I don't blame it" Zakai laughed

Although they couldn't hear it from the high distance, it seemed like he was accepted into Yami's squad based on Yuno's smile and Asta nearly crying

"We should probably go back to the station." She said, "Fuegeleon will be coming to pick us up."

the sun had set, and the night was approaching rapidly. he watched as Nomu got bigger and stronger when night fell but chose to be silent

After 5 minutes of talking, the large man that is Fuegeleon appeared, looking at his new recruits in silence

"Come on." He said, Making him walk to the Crimson lion base

luckily for him, the crimson lion base is literally in the Royal capital, making it easy as it's just a 5-minute walk

"The crimson lion's duty is to protect the clover kindgom, nothing more and nothing less." He said, walking in front of us "Us Crimson lions are prideful, meaning that you can choose to do missions" He stopped, looking around at both of us "Being weak isn't something to be ashamed of..... staying weak is." He said, looking at us both "Daily training is required, and you two are going to pair up with each over for missions."

Both of us nodded. with a grasp of Veronica's personality, he could tell she's completely a god of Procrastination

"However, you are not "Fully" Accepted into the Crimson lion Magic knight squad yet." He said, continuing to walk "You will be tested by the members inside."

"How many Magic knights are there in Crimson lion?"

"Around 30." Fuegeleon said, "We normally come in second, so don't tarnish our reputation."

Zalak nodded

"Whats our pay?" Veronica said, obviously the key thing on her mind "75,000 yule for every mission

Both Zalak and Veronica looked at each over in complete astonishment.

"These nobles man." She shook her head before carrying on to the base

Zakai clicked his tongue, before Fuegeleon, moved behind them, saying

"Open the door and look for yourself"

"Yes yes," Veronica said, opening the door

sensing strong mana signals

Rushing in front of her, Zakai opened his grimoire, watching as it spun

Seeing the new spell, he shouted

A large wall consisted of strong Paper magic arose next to Veronica, blocking the countless magic fireballs and bronze bullets shot her way

She had time to react, as she said

"[Shadow magic: Shadow Swallow]"

Nomu became large as it rushed towards the countless magic knights that ambushed them

"[Air Magic: Mass levitation]"

They all floated, nodding

"You passed the test."

they all closed their grimoire and approached us, leading Fugeleon to come behind us

"I wasn't a part of this but I sensed their mana," he said "Good reaction time." he patted my shoulder before going over to veronica and nodding "Powerful move."

The Entrance to the base was a grand one, with the house being coated in gold and red

Most of the people in the ambush seemed to be nobles but didn't look at us in disgust, causing Zakai to nod

"I Don't think I made the wrong decision" Zalak smiled the vice-captain stepped out of the crowd and nodded towards both of them

"Let me take you on a tour around the base."

The base was divided to 6 parts

1. living quarters

2. servant quarters (Maids and servants)

3.Courtyard (Training)

4. Relaxing quarters (entertainment)

5.Mana pool (Training)

6.Mission board

Although those are only 6 parts, it was a large Building. the mana pool is where your body can adapt to the natural mana and boost your attacks.its how you develop a mana zone

speaking about things like mana zone, the heart kindgom has a method called "Mana method."

in which they use the thick atmospheric mana to boost their attacks greatly. they can make it into runes around the grimoire that could allow you to "Edit" Spells if mana is present. the mana method lets your spell do things like "Expand" and "Home in." Which seemed to be useful

"Need to go there one day." He said

Much like the Siver eagles, the Magic Knights have Maids and Butlers to do idle cleaning and things like that. unlike the Silver eagles, there actually paid and respected! wow! never knew that!

"Well, I'm tired." Veronica said, "I see you in the morning then."

"Yeah, goodnight."

but his night isn't over as he walked towards Butler that had Creation magic

Don't be fooled, as creation magic is different from creation magic from a certain element, for example, Fire creation magic from a fire grimoire
