Chapter 8

''I'm ready,'' Tatsumi said while walking into the living room, where he can see Arima calmly sipping a cup of tea.

''Hmm, you look good in that clothes!'' Arima commented while staring at Tatsumi outfits!

Tatsumi, wearing a white shirt with a black jacket and grey pants! Combined with his looks and slender figure, Tatsumi looks like a handsome little boy.

''You're the one who buys these clothes, so...?'' Tatsumi said while staring at Arima with confusion.

''Sigh, I know, I just complimenting your appearances!'' Arima replied with a sigh.

''Oh, thanks,'' Tatsumi responded.

''Well, Let's go then,'' Arima said while appearing behind Tatsumi, and then the two of them disappear from the living room!

''Here,'' Arima said while guiding Tatsumi into a big building.

''Hmm?''

(This building at least has nine floors?!) Tatsumi thought while observing the building in front of him.

<Social services>

Two of them then walk into the building and then come toward the assistance table!

''Do you need a help, sir!'' A woman in a suit asked Arima with a welcoming smile.

''Yeah, I have a reservation with Konomi,'' Arima replied.

Hearing the name, the woman tilting her head with confusion! ''Pardon?'' The woman said with a polite smile.

''Ah, sorry, maybe you only know his surname!'' Arima said while putting his palm in his forehead and then laughed.

''I have a reservation with Kumamoto!'' Arima stated.

''Eh? Did you really have a reservation with chief!'' The woman said in shock while staring at Arima with doubtful looks!

''Sigh, Just said that Arima comes!'' Arima replied while feeling an intense gaze from his back!

Turning his back, Arima then finds Tatsumi staring at him with a questionable gaze.

''What?'' Arima said while staring back at Tatsumi.

''You seem to know this guy named Kumamoto very well?'' Tatsumi asked.

''First, this person is not a guy!'' Arima said.

''Two, I already know her for a long time, and three!''

''She was my friend!'' Arima proudly added.

''Really?!''

Tatsumi keeps staring at Arima with doubtful looks, but Arima can only avoiding his gaze from Tatsumi.

''But you don't feel like the type of person. Who has a lot of friends, especially a woman?'' Tatsumi said with facts that Arima can't deny or run away and bring imagination damage into his heart!

''You also live in a secluded place!'' Tatsumi added another with facts!

''Uugh!'' Arima muttered while putting his hand on his stomach.

''I was popular back then, and of course, I have many friends!'' Arima retorted while avoiding the fact why did he live in a secluded place.

(Hmmph! You live on an island, and you never explained to me why did you live there!) Tatsumi thought while remembering the first time he knows that Arima's places were an island!

--- Flashback ---

At the dining table, Arima sits calmly on the chair with a cup of tea in his hand.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, we can see Tatsumi preparing lunch for both of them.

''Can I go to the outside?'' Tatsumi said while swiftly cutting the potato into diced pieces.

''Hmm? Why do you wanna go out?'' Arima asked.

Sipping the tea, Arima then takes a glance at Tatsumi in the kitchen.

''I was bored,'' Tatsumi said while taking a chicken and then start cutting it.

(Ah, he really never go outside!) Arima thought while remembering something.

Tatsumi never goes outside after Arima takes him from the waterfall, and two weeks have already passed since then!

In these two weeks, Tatsumi keeps learning about basic blacksmith knowledge and skill.

Not only Tatsumi learns these skills faster than any ordinary person. But he also keeps absorbing the new knowledge that he received like a sponge absorbing water!

''You can go to the outside, but remember to coming back in the evening!'' Arima said while sipping his tea.

''Mm, Ok, thanks,'' Tatsumi replied while taking a frying pan and then heat it.

Pouring the oil and frying a few spices into the pan until an aromatic scent came from it. He then drops the diced potatoes and kitchen that he already cut before.

Fry them until becoming hash-brown with glistening oil! Tatsumi then serves them on the plate and brings them with rice toward the dining table.

''Here,'' Tatsumi said while placing the dishes on the table.

''Oh!'' Arima said in surprise while his eyes were shining because of the dishes on the table!

''Itadakimasu!'' said Arima with a grateful smile and then tasted Tatsumi's cooking!

(It's good as always) Arima thought while savoring the taste of the dish that Tatsumi made.

(It's spicy and crispy because of the potato and juicy because of the chickens) He added in his heart.

''It's delicious as always!'' Arima said with a smile toward Tatsumi.

''Un,'' Tatsumi replied with an appreciative nod while also enjoying the taste of his food.

After done eating, we can see Tatsumi cleaning the kitchen tool and plate that he uses earlier.

''Hmm, done!'' He muttered while placing all of the tools in their place.

''I'm going out then!'' Tatsumi stated. He then wears a jacket and then goes to the door.

''Bye! Ah! And please, be safe!'' Arima said.

''Un!'' Tatsumi responded with a nod and then opening the door while walking out of the house.

Tatsumi then starts exploring the surroundings and found many places like a small forest, two rivers, and one big waterfall!

(a beach?) Tatsumi thought with a frown while walking into a white sanded beach!

''Alpha!''

[Yes, Host!]

[Do you need my assistance!]

''Um, do you have any skill or ability that similar to a map?'' Tatsumi asked/

[I do have a map sub-function]

[Do you want to use it, Host!]

''Eh, you have the map function?''

''I want to use the map!''

A holographic square map appears in front of Tatsumi's face, and he can see a line way that he takes from Arima's house to the beach where he was right now!

''Wait? Isn't this an island!'' Tatsumi said in surprise and awe.

Looking at the map that already got maximized, he can see that Arima's house was in the middle of the island!

A green forest, also covering around it while two lines of the river flowing from the north! Which makes it a higher ground.

At the south, Tatsumi can see a black patch of land! While grassland presents around the east side.

(Why did he live on an island?) Tatsumi thought while pondering how Arima's life and character in these two weeks.

''Teleportation?!'' Tatsumi said while just realizing something.

''What mysteries did you have, old man!'' Tatsumi muttered in his heart while walking back to Arima's house because the sun already started to set.

--- The Present ---

(Even after these two years, I still don't know why did he live there!) Tatsumi thought.

*ding!*

A man in a black suit then appear from the lift and then walk toward them!

''Arima-sama, please come with me!'' The man in a black suit respectfully said.

''Ok, let's go, Tatsumi!'' Arima said while walking toward the lift.

Tatsumi, nodding his head while following Arima fastly to the lift.

Three of them, waiting slowly on the lift while after a few seconds, and then, they finally arrived at the highest floor!

*ding!*

The man in a black suit then starts leading them into an office with a black door.

''Oh, we already arrived!'' Arima then look at the man in a black suit and then said, ''Thank you,''

''Your welcome, Arima-sama!'' The man in a black suit replied while walking away from them!

''Haha...'' Arima then waved his head and then opening the black door.

''ARIMA!'' Shout of a woman voice reverberating from the room and then a black shadow flying with a powerful momentum toward Arima.
