(This chapter quality is bad so forgive me)
3rd POV:
Alex woke up by his master, he rubbed his eyes and felt that he need another sleep. But before he could fall to the cozy pillow, his master pinch his cheek.
"You can't sleep anymore, today you will come with me."
"Can you just give me five minutes? I swear that it'll be quick and short." Alex grumbled as he is still half asleep.
"I. SAID. NO!" Lucy yelled, feeling irritated how heavy sleeper Alex was.
Alex was snapped out of it. He felt his soul was running away when he heard the shout, he nodded as if his life depends on it.
"Good, now take bath quickly or we'll be late." Lucy sighed.
Alex knew that something was happening but he'll ask his master later.

They didn't eat breakfast, as they were on their way to a location.
"Where are we going, master?" Alex asked.
"Glayder's Palace." Lucy replied.
Alex didn't show any excitement on his face as he still had his stoic face on. He felt bored today, so maybe it'll be a good chance to find entertainment.
Arriving at the front of the Glayder's Palace, the guards immediately recognized Lucy and saluted.
"Good morning, ma'am. I see that you are with..."
"My disciple, Alexander Leywin." Lucy answered.
"Oh, I didn't know that distinguished S-Rank mages have disciples. I'm sure your disciple will enjoy the party. " He bowed to Alex.
Lucy nodded as the guards allowed Lucy and Alex to pass. Alex follows behind as he looks around. His eyes widened when he heard that they were going to attend a party.
Alex didn't particularly care about the party itself, but he knew that there would be delicious free food for him.

Alex's POV:
The event was boring. It's just for nobles to flaunt their status and wealth. I feel like I need alcohol. It's been a long time since I drank wine and a sip won't hurt.
I sneakily grabbed a wine from the table when no one was looking and went to the balcony where I could be alone and drink my wine.
Looking at the scene, I never had a particular interest in art, but I have the urge to draw the scenery. Well, that's if I have the canvas.
I sipped my wine and it was sour. I almost threw away my wine.
"Bleh, I don't know if my tongue doesn't like wine or I'm still young. Meh, maybe both." I shook my head.
I put away the wine and just relaxed. I closed my eyes to feel the air when suddenly, a voice I remember called me.
"Why are you drinking wine?" Her blank expression greeted me.
I opened my eyes to see Kathy. I waved my hand, "I don't know. I'm just a kid who loves interesting stuff."
"You will get into trouble if someone finds you stealing wine." Kathy warned me, but I shook it off and chuckled.
"Well, I guess I'm in trouble. Anyway, princess, what are you doing here? I'm sure you aren't here to report me, right? "
"...I am bored." She answered.
"And so do I. What a boring event for kids. Am I right? " When I look at the bright sky, the sky is more entertaining than this party.
Kathy nodded. Finally, I finally found a brilliant idea to erase our boredom.
"Then let's do something fun!" I exclaimed enthusiastically, "I'm sure that you sneak out when eating a pie in the bakery, right... Kathy?" I quickly revealed her identity and smirk.
"So, you know?" She said in an emotionless voice. I don't know if she's surprised, but I feel like the way she talks is almost the same as my master.
I laughed, "Well, you aren't very good at disguising yourself, Princess."
"Call me, Kathy."
"If it makes you better, Kathy." I smiled.
Kathy then joined me to watch the scenery by my side. She's rather cute up close. Well, I wouldn't say she isn't cute from afar, but I guess you just don't suddenly fall for someone.
Now, let's stop talking to myself like stupid person.
"So bored... Hey, Kathy. Want to do something fun?" I stretched my arms as I felt bored watching the scenery.
"...?" Kathy tilted her head in confusion.
"Oh, come on. I'm sure there's something fun in the outside world. Do you ever see the outside world?" I said excitedly, like a kid.
"No... I rarely go outside." Kathy answered.
"Then let's go and find an adventure!" I suggested, and my eyes shone brightly. I never had the chance to truly know the outside world.
My parents never gave me permission to wander around outside Xyrus city. I felt terribly bored with the same scene over and over again. The real adventure is when you venture into a place you never knew!
"Are you crazy?" Kathy asked me if I was crazy.
Maybe I am, but certainly, I'm a person with a craving for amusement!
"No, are you in or what?" I grinned as I held out my hand to her.
There were a few seconds of silence. She hesitated to grab my hand, but nonetheless, she grabbed it. Royal's life is boring. Her security is of the utmost importance to Royal's guard, making her isolated from the outside world.
Well, I actually hesitated too. My master has been warning me not to wander around outside her range.
(Flashback)
3rd POV
"Madam Lucy! Ah, what a pleasure to have you here." Blaine Glayder welcomes Lucy.
"It's good to meet you, King Blaine." Lucy only gave a short bow to Blaine.
She never really trusted the man. She has a good reason why she doesn't like the man, but that's not what we are talking about right now.
"I heard that this young, handsome boy is your disciple, no?" Blaine asked.
"Yes, he's my personal disciple." Lucy answered.
While Alex only stares at the food on the table, he doesn't really care about King Blaine. He doesn't have any interest in doing so.
Lucy pinched Alex's shoulder, and he quietly yelped, "Ouch."
Her look says it all, 'Introduce yourself!'
Alex sighed and rubbed his shoulder. With a stoic face, he elegantly bows and introduces himself.
"Alexander Leywin, the most beloved disciple of S-Rank mage Lucy." Alex smirked.
Lucy rolls her eyes, seeing what her disciple is doing.
"I see! I hope you two enjoy the party." Blaine only laughed as he saw the two of them. "If you excuse me, I'll be greeting the other guests."
After that, Blaine left both of them on their own.
Lucy then patted Alex's shoulder and said, "I should be more responsible, but I believe you could be mature and not wander around like a lost child."
"I can... What will you do, my master? drinking alcohol again?" Alex's eyes show concern.
"No, I'll be just sipping some good wine here. Don't worry, disciple, as your master doesn't easily get drunk." This side of Lucy is what Alex hated. While it doesn't concern him or disturb his training, he hated seeing Lucy be like a broken person.
His master never truly told her background or childhood story. They seemingly get along, yes. However, he sometimes sees Lucy as the person he is familiar with yet distant with...
Does Lucy trust him? That's what Alex's question to Lucy was, but he didn't dare ask.
"Just... Don't get too drunk." After that, Alex quickly left.

Alex's POV:
"Then, what are we waiting for?" I picked Kathy up in a princess style and with the help of my wind magic.
I jumped up to the rooftop. I landed gently on my two feet, she's a bit heavy.
Her blank expression has some hint of surprise on it. I grinned, there's nothing stopping us now.
- To be continued.
(A/N: A bit short than usual but yeah, this is only an entry because I'm still trying to find any interesting idea next chapter. How many I said entry? Idk)
