Alchemy test begins.

"And shortly after, the professor entered. He had a grouchy look and seemed irritated, but from what I know, he is indeed capable. The professor's name is Jair, one of the main alchemy teachers and alchemists within the Kingdom. Up to this point, it wouldn't be a problem, but I've heard a story from the family butler that this alchemist seems to have a strong conflict with my family, something related to my grandfather... like a rivalry stemming from when they were young and competing for my grandmother's affection.

The professor seemed to accept despite being irritated, but when my grandmother died years ago due to a certain ambush, he began to hate my grandfather, as well as my brothers and possibly me. "I just hope this doesn't become too irritating..." I couldn't help but murmur as I watched him step onto the stage.

*Cough cough.* The professor coughed loudly and looked around at everyone present. "Let's begin. For the entrance test to pass here, you must be at the Novice level of alchemy and create at least a set of 3 pills with a purity of 18 to 24% of the lower level and 2 potions with the same purity."

"And so, you should start where you stand and for the next steps..." He spoke as he touched a wooden table in front of him and the small stage. I felt his Qi emitted and entering something like magical symbols resembling a matrix. After he did this, two tabs on the stage opened. One tab displayed a stand with small pieces of paper; above the stand was written 'Pill Recipes'. Below, there were some divisions labeled Potions and Pills. Below them was written: Support and Offensive. By the division, the first base of the division was whether the recipe would serve as a pill or a potion. Alchemists usually can create both, but within the profession, it's common to choose one path as certain creations and methods of use have some differences.

On the other side of the hall, something like a large apothecary or similar appeared; there it was possible to see evas with different colors, shapes, properties, and Qi quantity. "You should choose a recipe from each area and then the herbs; if you don't have your own cauldron, you can borrow one from the side." He pointed to some individuals wearing clothes similar to the school's colors but with a symbol of the alchemy class on their chest, and next to them were cauldrons of different sizes, colors, and materials. This time, the professor just sat in a chair while a younger person came forward and spoke. "Let's start in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Go!"

When he finished, the students ran to different places; most went to the recipes, others went to the herb area... I decided to wait; I could have run to compete with others, but I didn't find it interesting. On the contrary, I looked around and chose a small area; when I was satisfied, I cleaned the area with a little water and made sure the terrain was firm using Earth Qi. In the center, I placed my cauldron and organized it properly. After I was satisfied and saw that the number of people had decreased, I went to get what I needed. In the shelf part, there were many different types of recipes. I observed them around.

"Potion of Paralysis"

"Vital Healing Potion"

"Qi Supply Pill"

"Mental Healing Pill"

There were many with similar names; however, they had different recipes, either in quantity, handling mode, or type of herbs. While I curiously watched, I finally chose two recipes. "Fluffy Cloud Potion" "Depression Poison Pill" The descriptions of the chosen ones intrigued me a lot, and I found them very interesting.

<Fluffy Cloud Potion: A potion that when released creates soft and fluffy clouds for a few minutes, capable of cushioning any fall even being used as small defense or blockade.>

<Depression Poison Pill: A rather unusual pill that taps into the power of emotions; those who consume it may experience lowered mood or depression.>

I particularly found the effects very interesting... the cloud potion, in particular, caught my attention. And something I noticed is that for some reason, these recipes seem to have been completely ignored since I didn't see anyone nearby here, and I even saw someone pick it up and throw it aside. But regardless, after I chose, I headed towards the herb part while understanding what was needed to create these particular items. I also heard the voice of the previous assistant.

"We have another 8 minutes to start the evaluation; finish your preparations." After he finished speaking, I hastened my steps.

Professor Jair's POV: I observed each of the students while listening to the assistants' voices; I wasn't very interested in the students in general and only observed a little while I saw them selecting recipes and herbs, as well as arranging their space to create items. Some caught my attention; for example, one who used Qi silently and perfectly to arrange the space, another who seemed to smell the herbs as if selecting them by taste—quite a strange way to investigate. Another seemed to delicately observe each herb and make notes, and some seemed surrounded by anxiety and fear.

"Hey, there are some interesting people today... it seems there are some noble sons and even merchants."

"Yes... I just don't know if any of them will have any talent..."

"Hey, I also heard that the third young master of the Alberian family will be here..."

"Yes! They say he is very handsome and even talented." And when I heard the name, I looked coldly at the assistants and asked.

"Is anyone from the Alberian family here?" They were clearly tense, but I didn't pay attention to that and waited for the answer.

"Yes..." One of them finally replied.

"Where?" I asked coldly, and she pointed in the direction of the student. And when I saw, I narrowed my eyes... he was one of those who caught my attention... let's see if he's of any use... I won't try to directly harm him, but I won't make it easy. My eyes were attentive to every act and movement of his. I also heard sighs beside me, but I didn't pay attention.
