Ch.4 "First Labyrinth"

[Exiting Lumina]

I followed them through the outside of the city, wondering if where are we going

"Um, where are we going?"

I asked

"We're looking for a gate, so we can clear a labyrinth."

Alfdíes answered

as we continue walking, I feel this cold breeze flowing at my skin.

I shivered

[Entering the Forest of the Dark Ones]

"We're here, now let's find a gate."

Alfdíes said

"It's pretty dark here. North, do you have any bright abilities?"

Asked Réme

"I don't think that I have that kind of skill, but let me try."

"Hmm, I don't really have an ability like that. Sorry, guys, but I don't have it."

I said

"That's fine, I have this ability, but we might get burned."

Dramire said

"I can heal it; don't worry."

I replied

"[Blazing Mace] On!"

Dramire chanted

I was fascinated by how fast the fire surrounded the head of the mace.

"Let's go."

Alfdies said

We continued exploring the dark, cold forest when suddenly Alfdies sensed a magical aura.

"I feel it; Remé use [Enhanced Senses] now."

Alfdíes commanded

"[Enhanced Senses] On!"

Réme's body was faintly glowing as he turned on his ability.

"I feel it now; it's in the east."

Réme informed

"Dramire, you go first as you have the light source."

Alfdíes commanded

We followed Dramire to the east of the forest.

"Stop, we're here."

Réme said

"Okay, stand back North."

Alfdíes said

I took a few steps back as I don't know what was about to happen.

"[Gate Of The Labyrinth I Hereby Request: Open!]"

Alfdíes chanted

I noticed that the ground started to shake after the chant was said, and I stood there confused.

The gate is slowly emerging from the ground,

I sensed the magic laying inside of it. I know that this is no joke.

*monitor pops up*

I flinched

"You okay, North?"

Dramire said

"I'm fine; sorry about that."

I replied

[Gate Discovered. Do you wish to enter?]

"The gates are here; should we go in?"

Réme said

"It's a rookie-ranked gate, I think we can get out alive."

Alfdíes said

"Should we enter now?"

Dramire said

"Let's enter"

I said

[Do you wish to enter?]

" 'Yes' "

My party members got in one by one as the gate was too narrow for all of us to enter. I was the last one to enter.

As I was about to go in, the gate changed appearance, and the magical aura around it drastically changed. I felt like this was no rookie gate. The power of this is overwhelming. But I have no choice, as I was already sucked in by the gate.
