"How could they have gotten out?!" Abraxas yelled, pacing in his office. Once he had heard the news, he sent the two guards to bring the captain to his office. Caspian stood beside Abraxas' desk, hand resting on his chin. He was deep in thought when he perked up, looking to the side.

"We have a traitor."

Everyone turned and looked at Caspian as he glared up at the guard. "Gather all of your men and stand in the courtyard until further notice." Abraxas knit his eyebrows together.

"Are you crazy-" "I said now! You have a traitor amongst your troops and I'm going to figure out who it is."

The captain, angered by being told to pull all of his men, saluted stiffly before turning and marching out, followed by the two guards.

Caspian turned towards Abraxas and bowed his head slightly. "I'm sorry, my King. I don't want them getting close to Ophelia again." Abraxas sighed and nodded. "I know. I don't want them to either."

Caspian nodded, turning and walking out of the study with Abraxas following behind him. They were walking when Abraxas grabbed Caspian's arm. "Let's get Ophelia."

"Lead the way." Caspian said, turning and following Abraxas down to the opposite end of the hallway. He turned around corners before stopping at Ophelia's door and knocking.

"Just a minute!" Ophelia called out. Shuffling was heard before the door opened, and Ophelia stepped out. Caspian held his breath.

Ophelia stood in the doorway, wearing a pale blue off-the-shoulder tulle dress. Her hair fell around her shoulders and her makeup made her features soft.

Abraxas smiled at her before asking if she had shoes on. "Oh, not yet. Let me get them." Ophelia turned and walked back into her room before walking out and shutting her door. "Alright. Let's go." Ophelia smiled.

Caspian led the way, while Ophelia and Abraxas followed. "Where're we going?" Ophelia asked, jogging to get beside Caspian. Abraxas smiled to himself as Caspian slowed his gait for Ophelia to keep up.

"You'll see once we get there, Darling."

Ophelia looked back at Abraxas, before looking forward once again, slowly reaching down to grab Caspian's hand. He quickly looked down before intertwining their fingers. They walked around a few more corners and down a flight of stairs when Ophelia stopped and turned to face a colomn beside the staircase.

"Are you alright, Darling?" Caspian asked, glancing at Abraxas, who shrugged.

"It's... nothing," Ophelia turned back and smiled at Caspian, who - albiet relucant - dropped the issue. They continued on their way, finally walking into the courtyard.

"Why're all of the guards here? Shouldn't they be patrolling?" Ophelia whispered to Abraxas as Caspian contiuned marching up in front of the large group.

"Many of you may know of the two special prisoners that we have had here." Caspian looked out to the multitude of faces, and Ophelia's pained him the most. "They have somehow gotten free."

Ophelia felt the air leave her lungs. They're free? How? Abraxas steadied her, holding her up by the shoulder.

"We have a traitor, or multiple, amongst us. I, and your King, plan to figure out who." Caspian walked slowly through the ranks, looking back and forth among the groups of people.

"Anybody acting out of line will automatically be brought in for questioning. You all are dismissed. Back to work, all of you." Caspian waved his hand and walked towards Ophelia and Abraxas. "There were a few who was acting strange. I'm not sure if they're the traitors or not, though."

Ophelia reached her hand out and rested it on Caspian's bicep. "We'll find them. I promise."

---

"Let's have that party you were talking about. Maybe it'll lure them back." Ophelia suggested, twisting the strings on her dress around her fingers.

They were sitting in the garden, Ophelia, Caspian, and Abraxas talking through some plans. "Ophelia, I don't think-" "Maybe it'll work if I dressed like Mom."

The air becames quiet. Too quiet.

"Maybe she's right, your majesty. He is attracted to her. Maybe this'll help bring them back." Caspian looked pained to agree to that statement. Ophelia turned and looked up at him, smiling. "I think it'll work."

Abraxas stayed quiet for a few minutes before sighing. "Alright. If this doesn't work, I'm sending a handful of the guards I trust to hunt them down and bring me their heads." Ophelia looked slightly horrified, but Caspian nodded. "Naturally, Abraxas." Caspian bowed, and Ophelia turned to look at him before shaking her head and turning on her heel, and walking off.

"Where're you going?" Abraxas called out, smiling. "To study mom's journal. If you need me, I'll be in my room."

---

"Why did I let her talk me into having the party again?" Abraxas sighed, sitting in his chair. Caspian and Abraxas walked back to his study, talking through some of the ideas they had about the party.

"Because you completely trust your daughter. I think she's on to something." Caspian responded, sitting across from Abraxas. "Maybe. Hopefully." Abraxas sighed, pushing himself up and grabbing a glass and bottle of whiskey. He poured some into the glass and looked over his shoulder at Caspian.

"Want some?"

Caspian shook his head. "No thank you." Abraxas sighed and closed the bottle before walking back and sitting back down in his chair.

"When I say she's exactly like her mother, I mean it. This is exactly what Natalia would have done." Abraxas said, sipping on the glass. Caspian nodded. "She has a wonderful intuition."

Abraxas sighed and set the glass down. "I miss her."

"The whole kingdom does. She was a wounderful Queen." Caspian looked down at his lap, folding his hand tightly. "Ophelia's going to be a wonderful queen, being exactly like her mother," Abraxas looked up at Caspian, pointing a finger at him. "I trust you'll be a better King than I."

Caspian shook his head. "I won't be as great a king as you." Abraxas waved his hand and shook his head.

"You won't make the mistakes I made. You'll do so much better than that." Caspian sighed. "You live and learn from your mistakes."

---

"Everyone understands why we called you all here, correct?" Caspian announced over the crowd of people. Ophelia and Abraxas stood behind him, listening. Ophelia looked at Abraxas, mentally asking what was happening.

Abraxas shook his head slightly and pointed forward. Ophelia sighed through her nose and turned forward, watching as Caspian stepped forward, walking down the aisle between the two large groups of guards.

"There is a traitor amongst this group. Whoever it is, we will find you. You swore to protect the crown, and you turned your back on it." Caspian looked up and down the rows of guards, standing tall and straight. Each one looked forward.

"If you would like to go ahead and turn yourself in, please do so now."

No one moved a muscle. Ophelia looked out over the crowd, waiting, watching for the one to move.

"Since no one wants to confess, we will keep eyes on every single one of you." Abraxas stepped forward, glaring at every last one of them. "Because of your foolishness, and betrayal, your princess was almost killed. Do you think that's worth it?"

The guards never answered, just looked forward.

"You all are dismissed. Captain, come forward." Abraxas boomed out. Ophelia walked forward, stopping beside Abraxas. Caspian walked up beside her and leaned down, kissing her forehead. Ophelia felt her face heat up.

"You two," Abraxas warned, turning and facing them. "As I was saying, I want you to get a team of your best people and look for them. I want them locked up. Hell, I don't care if it's dead or alive. Get them back here!"

"Yes, sir!" The captain saluted and turned, marching off. Abraxas turned and sighed. Ophelia noticed how stressed he had become in the course of 20 minutes.

"Dad, you need to stop stressing so much. They'll find them." Ophelia offered, smiling when Abraxas looked up at her.

"I'm fine, Eli." Abraxas forced a smiled before looking up at Caspian. "I'm okay."

Caspian nodded, looking down at Ophelia before looking back up to Abraxas. A silent conversation seemed to pass between the two. Ophelia pulled away from Caspian, telling them that she's going to go study more on her mother's journal.

"Alright, Eli." Abraxas said, smiling at Ophelia's back, her dress billowing as she walked away. "How're we going to get them back?" Caspian asked after a few moments.

Abraxas heaved a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't know. I don't even know where they went."

Caspian looked to the side and pursed his lips. "I'm just confused about how we could bring them back." He reached up and rubbed his chin. "Wait."

Abraxas looked up at him, resting his fists on his hips. "What?"

"The party." Caspian looked towards Abraxas, a boyish gleam twinkling in his eyes. "Have the party that you were talking about. Hopefully that'll attract at least one of them here. If we get one, maybe we'll get the other."

Abraxas slowly broke into a smile. "You're right. That's a perfect idea!" Caspian nodded, following Abraxas who had started walking back towards the castle.

"I want all of the guards to know, so the traitor can tell them. Another way to make sure they'll come. " Abraxas commanded, looking at Caspian.

"Yes, Sir." Caspian tilted his head down in a bow and walked off to tell the captain about the party.

Abraxas continued to his office, ready to send out the letters.

——

Ophelia felt like her head was going to explode. She had read through the multitude of notes her mother had written in the journal. Her head throbbed and she groaned, resting her head in her hands.

A knock echoed through the room, causing Ophelia to release a whimper. She marked her page and closed the journal, slowly making her way to the door and opening it.

"Everything okay, Darling?"

Caspian looked at her face and knit his eyebrows together. Ophelia shrugged. "Just a headache. It's nothing much." Ophelia walked into the room, leaving the door open for Caspian to enter.

Ophelia walked to her bed and laid down, and Caspian stood there, waiting for her to get situated. "What's up, Caspian?" Ophelia finally asked, waving her hand for him to come closer.

Caspian walked closer, sitting on the foot of her bed before gently touching her ankle and stroking it.

"Your father has a plan. Are you in the mood for a party?"
