After a few hours of the large gathering, Ophelia had to leave. Names and faces blurred together and her head throbbed with so much more information than she had come to the kingdom with. Caspian had led Ophelia through the castle and showed her where everything was.

"So, what was mom like?"

Ophelia had decided to sit in Abraxas' office. She didn't want to go back to her room nor did she want to walk around the castle. Abraxas sighed and put down his pen. He folded his hands over one another and looked at Ophelia.

"Your mother was a wonderful woman." Abraxas looked down. It always pained him to talk about his love. "She detested violence. She loved everything alive. Her and I were so different."

Ophelia watched as Abraxas seemed to fall deeper into his memories. "It's okay, Dad. If you don't want to-" "No, Eli. You deserve to know what your mom was like."

Ophelia pursed her lips and sat back in the chair, waiting for Abraxas to continue talking. "You and your mom are alike, as I've told you. It's a shame she's not here to see you now."

"I'm sure she'd be proud. Of you and me." Ophelia reached across the desk and rested her hand on Abraxas' bicep. "We'll miss her together, okay?" Ophelia smiled towards him, which made Abraxas realize how much Natalia and Ophelia were alike.

"I'm pretty sure you're getting tired." Abraxas started to say but Ophelia shook her head. "No, no. I'm not. Can I ask another question?" Abraxas blinked before nodding. "Go ahead."

"You said that Mom is dead, how did she die?" Ophelia tilted her head to the side and rested her head in her hands. Abraxas released a troubled sigh. "Are you sure you really want to know how she died?"

Ophelia nodded and waited. Abraxas rubbed his forehead before looking back at her. "Your mother was murdered."

Ophelia's eyes widened. "Murdered?" She whispered the word like it was the plague. "By who?" Abraxas watched as a tear collected in Ophelia's left eye. "By Perseus. You know him as Professor Dalton."

Ophelia nodded and sighed. "It makes sense now. Everything he did, why he always favored me over everyone else. He wanted to get close to me." Abraxas nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"He was in love with your mother." Abraxas brought his hand up to his mouth and looked at his desk in thought.

"You don't think..." Ophelia trailed off. I hope he's not after me because I look like Mom. Abraxas shook his head. "It's crazy to think that he would do that just because you look like your mom. I wouldn't put it past him, though."

Ophelia stood up, feeling a tad sick. "I'm going to go to my room. I'm not feeling so well." Abraxas nodded. "Caspian's standing outside, he'll make sure you get there alright." Ophelia walked around the desk to give Abraxas a hug, who gladly returned it.

"I'll see you in the morning." Ophelia said slowly, opening the office door and walking out. Caspian was leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest.

"Ready to head to your room?" Caspian asked, looking at Ophelia, barely turning his head her way. Nodding, Ophelia waited until Caspian walked past her before following him.

"Are you conforming okay?" Caspian asked after a while of walking. "I am. It's just so new." Ophelia said, picking off invisible lint from her skirt. "You'll be overwhelmed for a little while, it's so different compared to what you were living in." Caspian slowed his walk and fell in stride beside Ophelia.

"I felt like I didn't belong there, anyway, so this is ten times better," Ophelia looked up at Caspian and smiled. "I'm glad that you showed up when you did."

"I'm glad you're back." Caspian admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. Ophelia bumped his shoulder. "I'm glad I'm back, too." Caspian looked down at his feet and smiled to himself.

They walked farther in silence until Caspian spoke up. "Here's your room, Eli." Ophelia looked to the door and nodded. "Such an elaborate design for something so simple as a door." Caspian pursed his lips and looked to the right. "It's a castle, what much can someone do?"

Ophelia nodded and reached forward and grabbed the door handle. "Well, I'll see you in the morning." Caspian nodded and turned to walk away. Ophelia, at the last moment, reached out and grabbed his cape and tugged him back.

"Yes, Eli?" Caspian turned and offered a small smile. Ophelia chewed on her lip before walking up and giving him a hug. Caspian was shocked, but as soon as she hugged him, Ophelia let him go and was in her room before he could hug her back or say anything.

The sun shone through the sheer curtains hanging in front of the balcony doors, hitting Ophelia in her eyes and causing her to stir and hide her face in the pillows. A laugh causes Ophelia to sit up and look around the room. "Wha-What?" She blinked her eyes slowly before yawning and raising her arms above her head.

She opened her eyes once again and looked towards the balcony and saw Abraxas standing there. "Someone was more tired than she thought." He said, finally looking at Ophelia.

"Dad? Is something wrong?" Ophelia yawned once more before looking down at her rumpled dress. "Oh... oops?" Ophelia smiled awkwardly and shrugged. Abraxas shook his head and laughed.

"It's alright. I'll get Anaieese in here to help you get changed." Ophelia nodded and slid off of the large bed. She turned back and admired it. "What are you doing?" Abraxas asked, arching an eyebrow.

"I just have to process that this isn't another dream." Ophelia responded, tearing her eyes away from the bed to look at Abraxas.

"Another dream? You've dreamed about Swela before?" Abraxas asked. "I didn't know that's what it was called but yes." Ophelia said, pointing at Abraxas, who laughed and shook his head once more.

Ophelia smiled and walked to the door, and saw that Anaieese was standing there, waiting. "Come in, please." Ophelia stepped out of the way and allowed Anaieese to pass by. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you into your nightclothes, Ophelia." She bowed her head.

"No need to apologize, I fell asleep." Ophelia smiled and dismissed Anaieese's comment. "I'm going to leave and let you get ready, Eli." Abraxas said, giving Ophelia a quick peck on her forehead before walking out of the door and shutting it behind him.

Anaieese walked into the large closet in the room and rummaged through the multitude of dresses. Ophelia walked in behind her and examined a very sparkly pink and gold gown. "Are there any pants? I really don't want to wear another skirt today." Ophelia asked, as Anaieese started to pull out a dark blue dress. "Oh," Anaieese stopped and put the dress back on the rack. "There should be. Let me find it, Ophelia."

Anaieese set to work, looking through the closet. Ophelia left and went to look out the balcony doors when Anaieese released a cry. "Found one!" Ophelia turned around just as Anaieese was walking out of the closest. "Oh wow." Ophelia murmured in awe.

It was a low-cut, dark green jumpsuit with gold detailing. Hanging around the stem of the hanger was a tulle-like cape with gold shoulder details and a thick gold band latching it together. Walking over to the room divider, Anaieese hangs the clothing onto a hook that was screwed into the side of it. Ophelia walked over to her, turning and moving her hair.

Anaieese immediately starts unlacing the dress and helps Ophelia out of it and the corset. She drapes both items over her arms as Ophelia walks behind the room divider and starts pulling on the jumpsuit.

"Anaieese, can you zip me up?" Ophelia walks out from behind the room divider and moves her hair over her shoulder. Anaieese is slightly startled at the resemblance to the Queen that Ophelia has, before walking over and zipping the jumpsuit up and hooking the cape around Ophelia's throat.

"How do I look?" Ophelia smiled, turning and facing Anaieese, who smiled and put her hands in front of her mouth.

"Just like your mother."
