Lanre laughed. She looks at Dami charmingly. “Ok sing!” She said. “I’m coming key me go and get my guitar from my room”. Dami said excusing himself. He walked into his room and got his guitar, then he went back to his living room to meet Lanre. “So I will be starting on three!” Dami said. “One! Two!..”

Her sweet smiles got me thinking out loud

“Wow! The lines are beautiful!” Lanre said. “I love it. Please finish it soon so I can listen to it”. Lanre said again. She liked it. “I am glad you love it!” Dami said. “So I just sing you a song, what do I get for a reward?” Dami asked sounding husky. “Gbadura!” Lanre replied telling him it is prayer. He laughed. “That’s not funny!” He said.

Lanre gave him the “and you laughed” look when he said it was not funny after laughing. “What? Why are you looking at me like that?” He asked.

Lanre put on an act when he asked why she was looking at him the way she did. She switched posture. “I’m a vamp, and I want your blood”. She said putting on the vampire’s act.

“Sexy! Really sexy!” Dami said. “Shut up jhoor! Instead of you to compliment on my acting skills or try to play along you are saying sexy”. Lanre said to him hissing afterwards. “Oh sorry about that. Was just saying the truth. You are sexy loads. I don’t think a guy would be left with you in a place and be himself. He would either be fighting hard not to touch you, if he is one of those church boys. Or he will end up giving in to the temptations if he can’t help it”. Dami said. Lanre eyes him. Then she drew her face away from him. “You didn’t say what he will do if he is not one of those church boys”. Lanre said. Dami smiled.

“People like us do not see it as a temptation. We see it as God smiling on us by sending a sexy hot babe like you to us by putting us in the same space where nobody will interfere with our business”. Dami said. “Just being honest though”. He said again. Lanre laughed out loud by the time he was done talking. She found it funny. She looks at him and shook her head. “The girl you are writing that song for will be disappointed”. Lanre said.
