"It's not safe here anymore." Chime decided to go back to the witch's camp. She went outside of the abandoned house and started to walk to the direction where she and other girls were brought to after they were rescued. It's pretty lucky for her to walk during day time because of the forest is very dangerous at night, because of the ferocious animals that roams the night. After a while of walking towards the camp of the witches, Finally, the path in front changed.

The shoulder-wide path was divided into two, one slightly upward and the other straight down, extending deep into darkness. Nobody knew where it led to. At the turnoff, she had stronger feelings of being watched as if countless pairs of eyes were gazing at her in the darkness. It made her mouth go dry and her scalp tingle.

The silver thread overhead was growing wider and wider. After half an hour, a huge cave appeared on her right. The entrance of the cave was slightly higher than the road. She stepped into the cave and could see faint lights of fire deep within.

It was the hideout of the Witch Cooperation Association.

"What are you doing here? Why did you come back?" Said the person on the other side.

"I come to join the Witch Cooperation." Chime said as she summoned her sword out of nowhere.

"Oh? So you've awakened as a combat witch, we always welcome new sisters in our camp, come let me lead you to the camp." Cara said as she cast Chime with a last glance. Cara then led her inside the camp where she found a lot of girls that are doing something from left to right, Chime noticed that a young looking woman with mature facial features, her reddish-brown hair are almost waist length.

"This is Wendy, she'll be taking care of you from now on, and she'll be responsible with educating you on how we do things in the camp." Cara said as she left me alone with Wendy.

"So starting today, you'll be our sister, so don't be shy when talking to me, if you need any help with anything in this camp you can come to me and ask me about it, as you are also a combat witch I will help you better control your mana." Wendy said as she smiled at Chime.

"I understand, thank you very much for your kind hospitality , there are indeed some questions that I would like to inquire about "After taking a deep breath Chime continued "I would like ask you about the purpose of this organization."

Wendy's face lightened and she said "The Witch's Corporation's purpose is to protect ourselves from persecution of the Church and to lead our sisters the Holy Mountain, a place rumored to be where witches can go through their Day of Awakening with no pain and live peacefully.

"Does this Holy mountain even exist at all Miss Wendy?" Chime frowned, not believing what the witch in front of her said.

"Yes, we just discovered a historical records which depicts this as something to be true, all we need to do is to explore this place until we find the holy mountain and live in peace, away from all harm and persecution of the people and the church." Wendy said as she still remembers all of her sister's sacrifices so that they can reach this place.

"Is there any chance that I can see this record that you are talking about Miss Wendy?" Chime asked curiously.

"I'm afraid there is none, I'm sorry. Cara is the one keeping the ancient records safe, apart from Scroll, Cara is the only witch here that has read the ancient record."

'So all I need to do is ask scroll huh, maybe I'll try to blend myself first and try to level my power up.' Chime looked at Wendy and said. "It's okay Miss Wendy, I also apologies for abusing your kind intentions by asking way too much, even though I just entered the group just this day."

"It's okay, once you joined our organization, you are already part of the family, so whatever the things that I can help you with I will absolutely do my best to help you go through with it, and by the way, Cara reminded me that tomorrow after you wake up, you need to go to Cara so that she can test your abilities." Wendy reminded and slowly walked away after bowing to Chime.

After their conversation, each of them went to their respective dwellings to rest.
