Sometime in the past (Teen Christopher's pov)
"When did Magic stop?" I asked. If he said last night that meant it was over. I lost my best friend because she loved me too much. She became emotionally unstable because of me. "A few minutes ago. Boy why are you crying? Man up. This isn't something to cry about." My father said before he left out the room. I didn't even realize I was crying. Fuck. I just lost my best friend.
I needed a run. Without thinking I tried to magic my running clothes on and my magic worked. I thought magic didn't work. I hurried up and teleported to my fathers study. He was in there working. He was old fashioned so he did everything by hand. Our family was made up of low ranked Gods so most worked hands on jobs just in case something ever happened they would be okay nomatter what.
"I thought you said Magic is not working? I am able to use it." I said to my father causing him to look up at me. He looked down at his paperwork and swiped his hand. Nothing happened. "Are you sure because my magic is still not working." He stated the obvious. I teleported next to him proving that I still had magic.
"You need to find your friend because obviously she cut off all magic but yours since she's close to you. Tell her to turn it back on." He stated. His words gave me the little hope I needed. I teleported back to my bedroom and then headed out to find her.
After looking for hours she was still nowhere to be found. Every God that would've been able to help was no help without magic. I decided to just give up. I laid down and closed my eyes. I checked every place we've ever been to and talked to every God she was close to. Where was she? As I laid down for a few hours it hit me like a bucket of ice cold water.
Luther was the one God I never went to because Mazaya despised him. Maybe she would be their or he could help find her. I jumped out the bed and teleported to Luther's house without thinking. I had went to his house once before because Mazaya didn't want to go alone so I had been in his office before.
As soon as I stepped foot into Luthers office I realized it was a dumb idea. "How did you get in here." Luthers harsh voice boomed through the quiet room. "I teleported." I said with a stutter. Luther would scare anyone. He was my age and had an office of his own. He acted way older than he was.
"So magic is back on." Luther stated. "So what can I do for you since you've seemed to take it upon yourself to come into places you aren't welcome." Luther said with annoyance in his voice. "Actually Magic isn't on. Mazaya just gave me enough magic where I wasnt effected but I need help finding her." I said with more confidence than I felt right now.
Luthers eyes lit up. "She must have given you alot, if you are the only God to still have magic." Luther stated. "Yes she gave me as much power as my body would take when we were younger. You don't have your magic but You're more powerful than me." I stated. He had to still have his magic.
He gave me a smile that was border line pleasant. Before he could reply I had to convince him to help. "I just need to locate her to make sure she's fine. I'm the reason the magic is off." I rushed out. He put his chin on his fist and examined me, even with how old he was he looked like an adult. "So you are having a fling with my fiance?" Luther asked with ice in his voice.
"No, no, definitely not. Mazaya likes me and I told her I had a girlfriend and she asked me to take her virginity and I denied her. It's a long story and you make me nervous so I'm just rambling." I rushed out with fear in my voice. Luther chuckled "I'm glad you are smart because I didn't want to have to kill one of her close friends and she tried to give you her virginity?" Luther said with a hint of anger.
He looked at me expectedly. "Yes we were having a conversation and you being unfaithful was brought up. I told her all Gods cheat because Gods were immortal. She asked me to take her virginity and when I denied she lost control." I said trying my hardest to keep my voice even. He sat back considering what I said.
"If I help you I'll need something from you. I've been pretty unlucky lately use your magic on me and I'll help you find her." Luther said. I was already conjuring up magic before he even had a chance to finish his sentence. This was a easy exchange. "Done." I said after a few minutes. He gave me a smile that made me question my decision but I didn't think to much of it.
He handed me a piece of paper that had her location on it. Without saying a thanks or bye I was teleporting to the location he gave me. She was at a mortal park in the grass. She was leaning back looking up at the sky. I took a second to sigh in relief. Even if I didn't like her romantically, I still loved her as a little sister.
