Biased

After Luther contemplated his answer to what Syn The Goddess of Justice asked he decided to give them nothing and make it seem like it was his wife's decision. "When my wife wakes up I'll see what I can do. She's the one that blocked everyone's memories not me." Luther said with a detached voice.

Syn was frustrated. If she disobeyed the laws Luther just created she would be trialed. This was a no win situation. She would just bid her time. If anyone broke one of these ridiculous laws she would have no way to help without breaking a law. It's like Luther covered every base to rule.

Syn Looked at Exodus who was sitting down in the corner drinking and she directed what she said to him. "How could you just give Luther power like this? You see what he's doing and you are sitting back relaxed like this is just a normal day. We are Gods not criminals. These laws are inhumane." Syns voice penetrated the walls with the amount of force she used, people down the hall could hear here.

Exodus looked up while setting his glass down. "These laws are to protect you all. It's time for some order around here. Everyone has been acting like they run the universe when in reality none of you do. There's been nothing but chaos. Everyone chooses who they help out with their magic and the dark side has been neglected. So now that the tables are turned it's inhumane?" Exodus said with disdain.

Syn didn't get a chance to reply because Exodus wasn't finished. "And you are talking about being treated like criminals but you allowed all dark Gods to be treated like criminals without a reason because almost all of you didn't have your memories. You accepted what my daughter did with a weak excuse. My daughter didn't even bother making a memory that would justify restricting dark magic and everyone of you still went with my daughter." Exodus yelled

"And my daughter's been a dictator since her and Luther separated. Every law she made was against Dark Gods and all of you went for it. Memories be dam." Exodus said with a power in his voice that had everyone hold their breathe. It was completely quiet now. Exodus was known for his extreme power. That's how he was able to trick his way into power and create Mazaya. He never showed anger and when he did everyone shut up.

"Let's set a few things straight for every God in this hall. Luther is a dark god, he never pretended to be good. All of his laws are for him and they won't change. He never betrayed any God in here. All of his allies he never turned on. He never had loyalty to any light God in here, so what he did in the past was never betrayal or wrong in his eyes. Just like restricting Dark Gods for no reason was not wrong to any Light God in this room." Exodus said only pausing for a second to make sure all Gods were listening.

"Now let's talk about my daughter. The person everyone is looking for help. My daughter may be light most times but she is selfish and everyone in here knows this. She turned her back on all of her allies once she married Luther and you can't deny that. She had the power to stop him but....", Exodus was interrupted before he could finish.

"Mazaya was manipulated by you guys. You know this." Kye yelled. Exodus anger hit a high that made him snap. "Don't interrupt me while I'm talking Kye. Once I'm finished feel free to talk but until then keep your mouth shut. "Exodus yelled while banging his hand on the table causing it to break in half.

"Now Like I was saying before I was interrupted. Mazaya had the power to stop it but didn't. You can say she was manipulated but what's the excuse when she got upset over something small and went on a killing spree? Killing every God that got in her way including her allies. I know all of you still have that memory. That was the biggest Massacre in our history. She killed atleast half of the population. What would've happened if noone could've calmed her down? Almost all of you would be dead." Exodus stated dryly.

This woke some people up. Noone liked to think about that day. It was bad and Exodus made sure that everyone had the memory of it so they could protect themselves from Mazaya. It was the Bloodiest day in history even including Luthers rule. With seeing everyone coming to see his point Exodus kept going.

"Mazaya is more dangerous than all gods combined. She's a ticking time bomb. So to you guys it may seem like manipulation but the reality of it is Luthers grounding her. He's the only person who can. If she loses control to the point of no return all is lost if she kills everyone. Atleast with Luther he can keep her at bay and if things go south he can make sure time resets. I love my daughter but this is the truth. Even with Mazaya trying to keep her emotions at bay it's almost impossible." Exodus concluded.

As everyone started to ponder about what Luther, Syn, Kye and Exodus all said Exodus put a memory clip on. It was the memory clip when Mazaya came into the office and started to lose control. He wanted people to see that Luther calmed her down. All Luthers allies were trying to paint a picture that would give him full control over everything with no questions asked.
