Through the Door (2)

Leena woke up the following morning feeling completely energized and ready to fight an entire heard of cows/sheep anything really. She wasn't feeling any soreness whatsoever. She dressed herself in a new set of clothes and walked out of the tent, no one was awake yet except Dracon who was setting up the fire to make some food before waking everyone up.

"Morning." Normally Leena wasn't one to sound cheery but since she woke up she decided to be as friendly as possible. Enjoy the moments while they are here before she regrets it all. "What's for breakfast?"

"Some eggs and toast." Dracon wanted to be a part of her cheer but he couldn't. He had so many other things on his mind, one being that he had an entire list of questions to ask her. There wasn't anyone around so he just went for it. "What happened when you were asleep?"

Leena didn't frown, she continued smiling while growing flowers around me. "I just saw a few things here and there. Nothing special."

"Nothing special?" Dracon rose to his feet with an angry expression. "Do you even realize how scared I was? I had only ever seen this happen to one person and that person died. You could have died. You were out of harms way a weak ago, I know. But you remained asleep for another week and a day. Why?" Dracon couldn't stop himself, he was angry and it crushed him to see her smile fade away but she had to know. "You are nothing like Petina... You are someone I can stand behind. So please, don't do that." It was at this moment that Dracon wished he hadn't started cooking so that he had an excuse to walk away. Instead he sat back down and continued to cook.

"That is why I stayed a little longer in the darkness." Leena hisitated but in the end she took a seat next to Dracon. "It was because what I was showed reminded me of how much I sought out peace and what I received was more problems. To you all I am seventeen/eighteen year old girl but inside I am still thirteen. I didn't have the opportunity to grow up, and neither did Kavira. We were just told to do this, this and that and everyone expects it from us because of the magic we hold."

Dracon was being selfish, he knew that but he never would have expected Leena to have a valid reason for her to be selfish. "I'm sorry. I was just worried about you... everyone was."

"And I appreciate that.. I really do." Dracon glanced up, gazing into Leena's eyes while she gazed into his. Even if Dracon wasn't in Izak's body he still would have been attractive to her but at this very moment all she could see was Izak death. Looking at the scar of Izak's face reminded her of all the pain it took from her to watch it with her own eyes. She placed her hand on Dracon/Izak's face and caressed it right where the scar was. "Does it hurt?"

She knew she was asking Dracon but she really wished Izak was the one answering. "No.. it doesn't."

Dracon could feel her sadness through her touch but he didn't mind. She had tis same feeling with Linx but in this moment he didn't care. He moved forward and placed his lips on hers, she could have backed away but she didn't. Leena grabbed onto Dracon and kissed him like there was no other person in the world. Her tears started to fall and Dracon could feel them but he still didn't let her go.

They both began to sweat and the lust was oozing out of both of them when they hear someone clear their throat. They both jumped back and cooling wiping their lips as they looked over to find Dalton staring at both of them. "Smells good." Dalton grabbed a place and served himself. Seconds later Linx joined them and sat next to Leena, she didn't know why she felt guilty but there was something different about Linx that wasn't there before.
