The Door of Viaje Part 2 (2)

"Clain, this world isn't like our. Just go change your clothes so that we can go into the capital, okay?" Kavira was having a hard time convincing Clain and Linx to change out of their armor and leave their weapons.

"Do as she says, there's no point to wearing that. People here are meant to civil, not saying they always are but it'll raise too much suspicion if you wear it." Dracon wasn't in the mood to deal with procrastination. Leena had changed from what she was wearing.

They decided that the best way to enjoy find someone that'll know where the stones were was to infiltrate one of the noble houses. It isn't forbidden for the magic folk to join in on the clubbing and partying done in the human domain so they decided to start there. Many of the children of the houses live off of parties, Kreighton gave them this information.

If this failed they would always be able to join his wedding. It was unfortunate that Dalton and Brenda couldn't join but they understood the circumstances they were in. "We won't be long, two maybe three hours tops. Do we know if the messaging flowers work here?" Leena didn't want to use any magic items but if an emergency happens it was always best to keep in touch.

"They do. Here." Lucas passed the flowers around per group. Nyla and Lucas, Kavira and Clain, Linx, Leena and Dracon, Eric and Kreighton. Leena took a few second to teach Eric and Kreighton how the flower worked before they were ready.

Earlier Kreighton had informed them about how you could distinguish a noble from a regular magic wielder. A royal must always carry a symbol of their house on the back of their neck. He showed them what his looked like, and then drew the symbols of the other houses.

"Make friends, try not to get into any trouble." Leena meant to look at everyone but especially Nyla, he quick temper may be a little too much sometimes.

"Okay okay, I'll be good." Leena wanted to believe Nyla but she was mostly confiding in Lucas to keep her in a safe position for the rest of us.

"Let's go then."

"What is this stuff?" Its good but I've never had it before." The bartender looked at Nyla with one eyebrow up. Lucas realized that her question was a bit bazaar and tried to play it out as though she were joking.

"Nyla, you have to be careful with what you say. This world isn't like ours." Lucas was trying to keep things calm but Nyla had already taken three tequila shots and a two mixed drinks of vodka cranberry.

"Don't you start telling me what to do. Youre not my dad." Nyla moved in closed to Lucas. He could smell the alcohol on her but he enjoyed having her this close. "Let's get out of here. I just want to be alone with you."

Lucas would've argued but he wasn't going to. They both disappeared from the club they entered leaving the works to the other groups.

"Clain... Maybe you shouldn't drink so much. Nothing from this world is the same as ours." Kavira was another person suffering from keeping their partner sane. "We are here to infiltrate a noble house. Please, focus."

Clain giggled at her. "Youre so beautiful when you're calm, you look angry." He started poking at her cheeks, it was beginning to annoy her.

"Clain stop it." She tried putting his hands down but he was much stronger than she was. "Clain!"

"Do you need me to take care of this guy for you?" A handsome dark man with hazel eyes appeared behind Clain. Kavira wanted to say yes but this wasn't this persons problem, she needed to find her own solution. "It's no problem."

The man placed his hands on Clain's head and he instantly fell asleep. Kavira was so stunned, she didn't even move when his body fell on her. "Let me help you with that."

The man quickly pulled up a chair and carried Clain's sleeping body over to it. "What did you do to him?"

"I put him to sleep. You were having trouble with him in his drunkin' state so I decided to help out."

Kavira furrowed her eyebrows. "How did you know?"

"My Binsho is to read minds, I can sometimes manipulate them but only if the person is in a weak state." The man pointed in Clain's direction with a smirk.
