Eternal Sleep (2)

"You said she was asleep and out of harm not, so why hasn't she woken up?" Kavira's words were really piercing through Dracon and everyone could feel her frustration. Before Leena ever showed up, everyone depended on Kavira for leadership but now that Leena had been around them for sometime they have grown to understand her importance. Leena was the real reason they were brought together or taken apart, in Clain's case.

"Kavira... I don't know. The good news is that she is out of harm. The only thing we have to wait is for her to wake up." It had been a week since they found the last stone. The offered to open the door and send her in sleeping but Dracon advised against it. Kavira and Leena were different, neither of them had complete souls. Having one half asleep while the other one was weaker wasn't easy.

Time goes by faster in the Lost Realm, who knows how many things could have already occurred. If Kizuato ever found out about their families they would be destroyed. "Why can't we just shake her awake?" At first Kavira remained calm but after the power explosion that came from Leena's body she didn't understand. Everyone's temporary powers became permanent. Their mark's appeared and even Brenda/Dalton produced some magic never seen before.

Nothing was making sense anymore, Logan didn't understand either. The rest developed mark's that they mentioned were a birthright to the magic folk from their world but from his understanding Leena was not from their world and she had a mark, even Dracon's body who was from this world never produced a mark. "If we wake her before she is ready, she may never regain consciousness."

"There's something you're not telling us." Linx had remained quite every since Leena fell ill, at first he thought it was his fault for keeping her out in the cold during the holiday but then he realize that this was different. This looked like an ancient type of magic, something that goes beyond just was any normal magic wielder could do but he remained silent. Kavira's outburst were tiring him and he also needed answers.

Dracon was displeased, Brenda figured this out and asked him privately about it but he never expected Linx to put him on the spot. He sighed. "This sleep was induced internally but not alone. I've seen this kind of magic before and I've only ever seen one person do it. Since that person isn't among us, it's hard to really know what is going on. The danger to Leena's health is gone, now the only thing we have to do is wait until she wakes up so that she may tell us."

"This person you mentioned, who was it? Who were they to be able to do this type of magic." Nyla always had a curious mind. She may not have known Leena all that well but Linx was still her brother and he worried deeply about her. He may not show it but she could see it in his eyes.

"The first Fiena, Petina. She had the power to induce people into a deep sleep. Unfold their biggest fears, show them their true nature and in the end if they died then they were never good enough to stay by her side." Dracon looked down to Leena's sleeping body. "Petina hasn't appeared for thousands of years, I suspect I know why but she is immortal like my father and I."

"Your father?" Clain wasn't following. Dracon had never mentioned to anyone about him being immortal, they just knew that he was a Fian trapped in a Grocan's body and that he came to take revenge from being trapped in Botus.

"My father... Kizuato."
