Chapter 1

As Odin and Eirlys stand in the silence of the palace courtyard, Odin's voice carries a heavy burden as he speaks to his daughter. "Eirlys," he begins, his tone tinged with sorrow, "there is something you must know about your sister, Hela."

Eirlys listens intently, her heart heavy with apprehension, knowing that whatever Odin is about to reveal will not be easy to hear.

"When I grew weary of conquest and longed for peace, Hela did not share my sentiment," Odin continues, his voice filled with regret. "She craved power and dominion, and she would stop at nothing to achieve her ambitions."

He pauses, the weight of his words hanging heavy in the air. "I sent the Valkyrie to bring her to heel, to quell her thirst for bloodshed. But instead of submitting, Hela slaughtered them mercilessly, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake."

Eirlys's heart sinks at the news, her worst fears realized. "And what became of her?" she asks, her voice barely above a whisper.

Odin's gaze darkens with sorrow as he meets his daughter's eyes. "For her crimes against Asgard and its people, Hela was banished to Helheim," he says solemnly. "There she remains, imprisoned for eternity, never to be released as long as I draw breath."

Eirlys's breath catches in her throat, the weight of Odin's words crushing her spirit. "But she is my sister," she whispers, her voice trembling with emotion.

Odin places a comforting hand on Eirlys' shoulder, his eyes filled with regret. "I know, my daughter," he says softly. "But Hela's actions left me with no choice. It grieves me deeply, but her imprisonment is necessary to protect Asgard and its people from her tyranny."

Eirlys nods silently, her heart heavy with sorrow for her sister and the pain she has caused.

"There is another matter," he continues, his voice gentle yet firm, "you have two brothers now, Thor and Loki. They are unaware of Hela's and Your existence, and I ask that you do not speak of Hela to them."

Eirlys nods solemnly, understanding the gravity of Odin's request. "I will honor your wishes, Father," she replies, her voice steady despite the turmoil in her heart.

Odin places a reassuring hand on Eirlys's shoulder, his eyes filled with paternal warmth. "Thank you, my daughter," he says softly. "I know this burden weighs heavily upon you, but it is necessary to protect them from the truth of Hela's actions."

Eirlys meets her father's gaze, her resolve firm. "I will keep Hela's secret, Father," she says, determination shining in her eyes. "I will do whatever it takes to protect our family and our home."

As Odin, Eirlys, and Haraldr step into the grandeur of the palace, Frigga stands at the entrance, her eyes filled with anticipation. When she catches sight of Eirlys, her heart swells with joy, and tears of happiness stream down her cheeks.

"Eirlys!" Frigga cries out, rushing forward to embrace her daughter. "You've returned!"

Eirlys returns her mother's embrace, feeling a wave of emotion wash over her at the warmth of Frigga's welcome. "Mother," she says softly, her voice choked with tears, "it's so good to see you again."

Frigga holds Eirlys at arm's length, her hands trembling with emotion as she gazes at her daughter. "You're more beautiful than ever," she says, her voice filled with love and pride.

Eirlys smiles, her heart swelling with gratitude at her mother's words. "Mother, I'd like you to meet someone," she says, gently shifting Haraldr in her arms to reveal him to Frigga. "This is Haraldr, your grandson."

Frigga's eyes widen in wonder as she takes in the sight of the baby in Eirlys's arms. "Oh, Eirlys," she whispers, tears welling up in her eyes once more, "he's absolutely precious."

Meanwhile, Thor and Loki stand nearby, watching the reunion with confusion etched on their faces. "Father," Thor asks, his brow furrowed with puzzlement, "who is this person?"

Odin steps forward, a solemn expression on his face as he introduces Eirlys to her brothers. "This is Eirlys, your sister," he explains, his voice tinged with emotion. "She has returned to us after many years away."

Thor and Loki exchange a bewildered glance, their minds reeling with the revelation of a sister they never knew existed. "Sister?" Loki echoes, his voice tinged with disbelief. "But how...?"

Odin takes a deep breath, steeling himself for the difficult conversation ahead. "When I was a young king, hungry for glory and conquest, I sought to expand our realm by conquering the nine realms," he explains, his voice tinged with remorse. "But Eirlys defied me. She preached for peace, for understanding between the realms."

Thor and Loki's eyes widen in surprise, their minds struggling to reconcile this revelation with the image of their father they've always known. "Eirlys defied you?" Loki echoes, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Odin nods solemnly. "Yes," he says, his voice heavy with regret. "And in my anger, I exiled her, sending her away from Asgard to live as a mortal in Midgard."

Thor and Loki are stunned into silence, the weight of Odin's words sinking in. "But why, Father?" Thor asks, his voice filled with confusion. "Why would you exile your own daughter?"

Odin's gaze softens with sorrow as he meets his sons' eyes. "I was blinded by my hunger for power and glory," he admits, his voice tinged with regret. "But Eirlys saw the truth. She saw the suffering that my conquests brought upon the innocent, and she dared to speak out against it."

Thor and Loki exchange a somber glance, their hearts heavy with the knowledge of their sister's sacrifice. "We had no idea," Loki whispers, his voice filled with remorse.

Odin places a comforting hand on his sons' shoulders, his expression filled with regret. "I know," he says softly. "And for that, I am truly sorry. But now, Eirlys has returned to us, and it is my hope that we can make amends for the mistakes of the past."

Thor and Loki nod solemnly, their hearts filled with a newfound understanding of their sister's courage and conviction. They approach Eirlys and Haraldr, their expressions a mix of curiosity and uncertainty.

"Eirlys," Thor begins, his voice tentative, "and you must be Haraldr."

Eirlys smiles warmly at her brothers, a mixture of relief and apprehension in her eyes. "Yes, Thor, Loki," she replies, her voice steady despite the emotions swirling within her. "It's good to finally meet you both."

Haraldr, cradled in Eirlys's arms, gazes up at Thor and Loki with wide eyes, his curiosity evident even at such a young age.

Loki offers a small nod of acknowledgment, his eyes lingering on Haraldr with a hint of curiosity. "It's... unexpected to find out we have a sister," he admits, his tone guarded.

Eirlys's smile falters slightly, the weight of her brothers' uncertainty weighing heavily on her heart. "I understand," she says softly, her gaze flickering between Thor and Loki. "It's a lot to take in."

Thor nods in agreement, his expression earnest. "Indeed," he says, his voice filled with genuine warmth. "But you are family, Eirlys. And Haraldr," he adds, turning his attention to the baby in her arms, "you are our nephew. We welcome you both with open arms."

Eirlys's smile returns, her heart swelling with gratitude at her brothers' acceptance. "Thank you, Thor, Loki," she says, her voice filled with emotion. "It means more than you know."

As Odin sees three out of his four children gathered around him, his expression turns grave, as he prepares to reveal the circumstances under which he found Eirlys.

"My children," he begins, his voice heavy with sorrow, "there is a truth that you must know about your sister Eirlys and the events that led to her return to Asgard."

Thor and Loki lean in, their eyes fixed on their father, sensing the weight of his words.

"It was a time of great turmoil and strife," Odin continues, his voice tinged with regret. "Eirlys, living as a mortal in Midgard, faced a grave threat to her life and that of her newborn child."

Thor's brow furrows with concern, while Loki listens intently, his expression somber.

"A dark wizard known as Voldemort had taken the lives of Eirlys's husband and was about to do the same to her and the baby," Odin explains, his voice trembling with emotion.

Thor's eyes widen in shock, while Loki's jaw tightens with anger at the mention of such cruelty.

"In her darkest hour, Eirlys subconsciously called out for aid," Odin continues, his voice filled with sorrow. "And it was then that I heard her plea and intervened, bringing her and the child to safety."

As Thor and Loki express their remorse for the loss of Eirlys's husband, Eirlys's eyes well up with tears, her heart heavy with grief for the man she loved.

"Loki," she says softly, her voice trembling with emotion as she turns to her brother with a faint smile, "My husband, he was a prankster. You were a patron god to him and his friends."

Upon learning this, Loki's heart swells with regret at the loss of a kindred spirit. His eyes soften with empathy as he turns to his sister.

"Eirlys," he says softly, his voice filled with remorse, "what was his name?"

Eirlys's smile wavers slightly, her eyes shining with tears as she recalls her husband's memory. "His name was James," she replies, her voice tinged with sadness.

Loki's heart sinks at the mention of the name, the weight of his regret bearing down on him. "James," he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. "A fitting name for a mischievous soul."

Eirlys nods, a bittersweet smile playing on her lips as she remembers her husband's playful spirit. "Yes," she agrees softly, her voice filled with fondness. "He brought so much joy and laughter into my life."

Loki reaches out to place a comforting hand on Eirlys' shoulder, his touch warm with sympathy. "I'm truly sorry for your loss, Eirlys," he says earnestly, his voice heavy with emotion. "James sounds like he was a remarkable man."

Eirlys nods, her eyes brimming with tears as she leans into Loki's touch. "Thank you, Loki," she whispers, her heart touched by his genuine compassion. "He was, and he will be dearly missed."

Thor, sensing the somber mood that has settled over the conversation, decides to lighten the atmosphere with a touch of humor.

"Well," he says with a warm smile, turning to Loki, "it seems you may have been James' favorite brother-in-law after all. But fear not, brother," he adds playfully, "I will make sure to be Haraldr's favorite uncle."

Loki's lips twitch into a small smile at Thor's attempt to bring some levity to the situation. "Is that a challenge, brother?" he replies, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Thor chuckles, clapping Loki on the back in a friendly gesture. "Consider it a friendly competition," he says with a grin. "May the best uncle win!"

Eirlys watches the exchange between her brothers with a fond smile, grateful for their efforts to lighten the mood. She chuckles softly at Thor's jest, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"You may be right, Thor," she says, her voice filled with warmth. "But Loki may have a headstart in winning Haraldr's favor."

Thor raises an eyebrow, intrigued by Eirlys's suggestion. "Oh?" he prompts, a curious smile playing on his lips.

Eirlys nods, her smile widening at the thought. "You see," she explains, her voice filled with warmth, "I was reborn into the mortal world as Lily Evans, who was a witch. As Lily was a witch and my husband James was a wizard, Harry inherited our magical abilities. So, it's quite possible that Loki and Harry could bond over magic."

Thor's eyes widen in realization, a grin spreading across his face. "Ah, I see!" he exclaims, nodding in understanding. "That does make sense. Loki teaching Haraldr magic would indeed create a special bond between them."

Loki's expression brightens at the idea, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "I would be delighted to teach Haraldr the ways of magic," he says, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

Eirlys's heart swells with gratitude as she looks at her brothers, their willingness to embrace her son filling her with joy. "Thank you, Thor, Loki," she says softly, her eyes shining with emotion. "Your support means everything to me and Haraldr."

As they share a moment of camaraderie and anticipation for the adventures that lie ahead, Eirlys knows that with her brothers by her side, her son will grow up surrounded by love, magic, and the bonds of family.

Suddenly reminded of her friends on Midgard, Eirlys approaches Odin with a request, her heart heavy with concern.

"Father," she says softly, her voice tinged with worry, "could you ask Heimdall to check in on some people for me? Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and the Longbottom Family. I fear for their safety, especially with Voldemort's followers still running around."

Odin listens to Eirlys's request with a solemn expression, understanding the importance of her concern for her friends. "Of course, my daughter," he replies, his voice filled with reassurance. "I will ask Heimdall to keep watch over them and ensure their well-being."

Eirlys nods gratefully, her heart eased by Odin's promise to help. "Thank you, Father," she says softly, her eyes shining with gratitude. "It means a great deal to me."

Just as Odin was about to tell a guard to carry out the order, Heimdall strides into the palace with a sense of urgency, his expression grave yet determined.

"My lady," he says, addressing Eirlys directly, "there is no need to worry. I have been keeping a vigilant watch over your friends."

Eirlys's eyes widen in surprise and relief at Heimdall's words, her heart lifting at the news. "You have?" she asks, her voice filled with gratitude.

Eirlys's heart sinks at Heimdall's grim news, a wave of sorrow and concern washing over her.

"Sirius..." she murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper, "sent to Azkaban? But he's innocent..."

Heimdall nods solemnly, his expression filled with empathy for Eirlys's plight. "Yes, my lady," he confirms, "he has been unjustly imprisoned under false accusations."

Eirlys's hands tremble with emotion, her mind racing as she tries to comprehend the injustice that has befallen her friend. "And the Longbottoms?" she asks urgently, her voice laced with worry.

Heimdall's gaze darkens with foreboding. "They are in grave danger," he replies, his voice grave. "Voldemort's followers are closing in on them, seeking to silence those who oppose him."

Eirlys's heart clenches with fear for her friends, her thoughts consumed by the urgency of the situation. "We must do something," she declares, her voice filled with determination. "We cannot stand idly by while innocent lives are threatened."

Heimdall nods in agreement, his eyes flashing with resolve. "Indeed," he says solemnly, "we must act swiftly to protect those who cannot protect themselves."

As Eirlys and Heimdall discuss their plan to intervene and protect Sirius and the Longbottoms, Loki and Thor step forward, their expressions resolute and determined.

"We are with you, sister," Thor declares, his voice filled with conviction. "We will not let injustice prevail."

Loki nods in agreement, his eyes flashing with determination. "Indeed," he adds, "we will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of your friends."

Eirlys's heart swells with gratitude for her brothers' unwavering support. "Thank you, Thor, Loki," she says softly, her voice filled with emotion. "Your aid means more to me than words can express."

As they prepare to embark on their mission, Loki's curiosity gets the better of him, and he turns to Eirlys with a question.

"Which one of them is the one that I am the patron god to?" he asks, his brow furrowed with curiosity.

Eirlys meets Loki's gaze with a solemn expression, understanding the weight of his question. "It is Sirius Black," she replies softly, her voice tinged with sadness. "He has always admired your cunning and resilience, even in the face of adversity."

Loki's eyes widen in surprise at the revelation, a mixture of emotions crossing his features. His mischievous smile widens into a grin as he speaks, a spark of determination gleaming in his eyes.

"Then it's time for Sirius Black to meet his God," he declares, his voice filled with confidence and resolve.

Eirlys, Thor, and Heimdall nod in agreement, their expressions reflecting a mixture of determination and anticipation.

"To Asgard!" Thor exclaims, raising his fist in the air.

"To justice!" Eirlys adds, her voice ringing with conviction.

As Thor calls on his friends—Sif and the Warriors Three—Eirlys watches with pride as they rally together, their spirits united in the face of adversity.

"Sif! Warriors Three!" Thor calls out, his voice ringing with authority. "We have a mission to undertake, a quest for justice and redemption. Will you stand with us?"

Sif steps forward, her expression resolute and determined. "Always, my friend," she replies, her voice filled with loyalty.

The Warriors Three nod in agreement, their eyes blazing with determination. "We stand ready to fight by your side, Thor," Volstagg declares, his voice booming with confidence.

With their numbers bolstered and their resolve strengthened, Thor leads his companions as they prepare to journey to Midgard and rescue the Longbottoms from the clutches of Voldemort's followers.

Meanwhile, Loki sets out on his own mission, his mind focused on freeing Sirius Black from the confines of Azkaban. With determination in his heart and mischief in his eyes, he knows that he will stop at nothing to ensure that justice is served.

As they each embark on their respective quests, Eirlys watches with hope and determination, knowing that together, they will overcome whatever challenges may come their way. For united in purpose and bound by their bonds of friendship and family, they are unstoppable.
