Thirty Two

Sparks flew into the air before landing on the ground and fizzling out. Fuyumi was the first one to engage Rei, starting her off with a thrust. Smiling Rei used Ryujin Jakka just barely divert her blade as it just barely slid past his face. Seeing how easily Rei stopped her attack she continued.

Drawing her blade back she released a barrage of jabs that on occasion led to slashes. The variety of attacks made it harder for her next strike to be predicted and was something Rei taught her to do. Holding Ryujin Jakka with his right hand Rei continued to deflect every attack thrown his way causing even more sparks to fly.

As the pace picked up the area to both of Rei's sides were filled with orange sparks. While Rei was distracted by Fuyumi, Seiki moved behind him. Unsheathing the disproportionate Zanpakuto he held his sword in one hand and the sheath in the other. Lowering his stance he aimed directly at Rei's back as he suddenly chucked the Sheath towards him.

Surprisingly despite its size and weight, the sheath acted as a boomerang spinning in a clockwise rotation as it flew across the ground at Rei. As it flew the sound of it cutting through the air grew louder eventually getting Rei's attention. Glancing behind him for just a moment he finally countered back with Ryujin Jakka in hand.

Controlling the flow of Fuyumi's thrust he moved his sword in a crescent motion pinning her blade to the ground before turning around. Pointing his free hand's finger at the incoming sheath Rei spoke. "Well, that's clever but too slow. Hado #1: Sho." An invisible force shot from his finger colliding with the sheath causing its momentum to stop.

Becoming stagnant the sheath stopped spinning before embedding itself in the ground. On the other hand, Fuyumi who had seen Rei let down his guard for a moment let one of her hands-free from Zanapktuo's grip pointing her hand directly at Rei's head. "Hado #4: Byakurai!" Hearing the brief activation of the Hado Rei turned his head back around.

Blue lightning began to gather in Fuyumi's head causing Rei to let her Zanpakuto go as he backed away while leaning back. The blue lightning shot from Fuyumi's hands just a second after flying into the sky and hitting a cloud before vanishing. Stopping his backward momentum from dodging Fuyumi's Hado, Rei saw a large shadow appear to his right.

Seiki who now had both of his hands-frees was swinging his Zanpakuto full force at Rei's side. 'This is going to hurt…' Gritting his teeth slightly Rei brought Ryujin Jakka's blade to his side. On contact with Seiki's sword, Rei felt a lot of force being pushed directly at him. In second's his body was lifted off the ground and was sent flying across the ground.

Rei could partially prepare himself for the impact because he knew what Seiki's Shikai ability was. 'To an extent, he can control both the weight and gravity of his Zanpakuto and Sheath.' It's because of that ability that he can carry it so easily despite its size. Alongside that, he can make it as light as a feather when attacking but in the split instance it impacts he immediately increases its weight.

Recovering from his brief shock Rei took advantage of the fact he was handy yet hit the ground to stop himself. Placing his hand on the ground while still gliding he quickly recovered jumping back onto his feet. It was as he was recovering that he noticed off to his side that Ren had been chanting an incantation while he was busy with Seiki and Fuyumi.

"Oh?" Ren proceeded to clap his hands together with a black and red began to leak out between them. "Carry him to the abyss!" Bringing his hands apart the black and red energy expanded along with them revealing six small black rods. Defining Rei as his target, Ren finished the incantation.

"Hado #24: Abisurodo!" Shooting forward the six small rods began to quadruple in size as they flew towards Rei targeting each of his limbs. 'They all work well together and it looks like Fuyumi and Ren have not been slacking on Kido practice.' Smiling Rei raised his hand in front of him. "Hado #33: Sokatsui!"

In a violent flash, all three of them watched as Rei's palm began to glow with an insanely intense amount of condensed Reiryoku. Being released all at once in the form of a large wave of energy. Half of the training area was quickly engulfed in this energy blowing away Ren's Hado along with the three of them.

Being knocked down the three of them slid across the ground as the wave of energy dispersed. A large arc of the ground in front of Rei stretching for over fifty meters was completely scorched. "Ugh…" Sitting up, Seiki let out a groan and looked at Rei who was standing there without a scratch.

"Using Hado above level thirty is cheap!" Yelling at Rei Seiki slowly stood up and Rei responded. "And you three are cheap for trying to combo me." Standing up after hearing Rei both Fuyumi and Ren glared at him slightly with stubborn looks on their faces. "Ok fine if you wanna play like that Big Brother Rei then we won't hold back."

Placing her hand on the sharp end of her Zanpakuto Rei could feel a spike in her Reiatsu as a bluish-white aura began gushing from her body. "Absorb as you reveal your radiance. Munriba!" Gently running her hand down the blade's edge, Fuyumi's Zanpakuto began to glow as it returned to the state Rei first saw when he arrived.

Turning his gaze to Ren, Rei watched as a bright green aura leaked from Ren's blade as he spoke of his Shikai's activation while moving it in a circular pattern. "Mimic, Kurikaeshi Gazō!" The bright green aura began to condense around Ren and his blade forming a green outer layer around his entire body.

Seeing them both release their Shikai's Rei scratched the back of his head. "So what one Hado spell and you don't care about hurting your Big Brother Rei?" Showing a hurt expression the three of them didn't buy it for a second as Ren replied. "We're just evening the odd's nothing unfair about that."

Being Rei had a chance to point out how flowing that logic was they all attacked him at once not giving him a chance to speak. Jumping into the air Seiki made his Zanpakuto light enough to speed up his attack as he rose. However, the moment he reached a max height he increased his Zanpakuto's weight by ten times which was his current limit.

As a speed faster than he could move on his own Seiki's shadow over Rei's position grew larger and larger at an incredible rate. Looking up at the blade that was just inches away from touching his body Rei's speed suddenly shot through the roof. Vanishing from where he was standing, Seiki's attack was left to miss its target.

Cracks spread across the ground like it was glass and the crushed rocks began to fold in on themselves. Stopping their assault due to the power of Seiki's attack and Rei vanishing both Fuyumi and Ren began to look around the training area. On the other hand, Seiki who had just finished the attack wasn't aware of Rei who had just appeared behind him.

"Seiki behind you!" Ren called out to him the moment he spotted Rei but it was too late. Before Seiki could turn to block Rei began channelling power into his right leg. "Burekuentori." In the next instance, Rei's right leg impacted with the side of Seiki's waist. Seiki's eyes bulged slightly due to the pain before his grip on his Zanpakuto became loose.

'Oh, that's going to leave a bruise…' Seiki was launched across the training area before coming to a stop completely unconscious. With its master no longer being awake or keeping it in its Shikai state his sword reverted back to being a normal-sized Katana before Rei turned to Ren and Fuyumi.

"Just you two left? Show me what you can do." Gesturing to them with his hand the two of them looked at each other before dashing in separate directions. Getting on both sides of Rei the two of them stood there at the ready. Glancing between both of them Rei was interested in exactly what they had planned.

Shifting his stance slightly Rei's eyes moved to Ren who suddenly dashed at him. As he ran he raised his free hand not holding his Zanpakuto. "Hado #16: Akai Dangan!" Pointing two fingers directly at Rei's chest, a considerable amount of Reiryoku quickly began to build up before being fired.

In speed, the pace the red bullet-like Reiryoku was travelling towards Rei was faster than Byakurai. Relying on his reaction time Rei quickly used Ryujin Jakka to deflect the shot before Ren got in close. Rei slashed downwards as Ren slashed upward causing the two of them to clash blades.

"Fuyumi now!" Calling out to Fuyumi who was waiting for her chance she charged in as well. Performing a thrusting motion Rei turned his head only to see a strange liquid gathering on the surface of her blade. That liquid began to morph around her Zanpakuto causing her range to extend she attacked.

On the other hand, the aura around Ren suddenly began to move. Acting like an afterimage it was almost a ghost-like replica of Rei as it copied one of the attacks he used earlier when defending against Fuyumi. Rei on one hand was still pinned in place by the actual Ren and Fuyumi was just two feet away from her strike reaching.

Faced with the problem of dealing with two different attacks at once and having one hand occupied Rei glanced and forth for a moment. 'Fair enough.'

In that instant, Rei's Reiatsu leaked slightly revealing an aura around his body similar to fire. In that instance, his speed increased as he twisted his body at a speed that allowed him to react to both attacks. Kicking Fuyumi's strike with his right leg Rei managed to avoid Ren's aura clone as it attacked.

Using the momentum from his twist he used his now free hand to grab Ren by the back of the head while tripping Fuyumi using the leg he countered with. Before the two even knew what hit them they both slammed into one another head first before hitting the ground.

The ghost-like clone of Rei that had missed its attack faded and returned back to Ren's body cloaking him once again. Shaking her head Fuyumi opened her eyes while trying to get out of her daze. Looking up at Rei she was greeted by the point of Ryujjin Jakka being pointed directly at the two of them.

"Frozen?" The two of them signed to themselves as they deactivated their Shikai's. "We almost had him at that time!" Fuyumi pouted as she really did feel like they almost had Rei. They had never gotten so close to actually hitting him like that overall their spars. On the other hand, Ren was sighing to himself for a different reason.

'We're still not even close…' He had been keeping track of their spars with Rei. And in every last one of them, he never uses Kido more than twice. Alongside that, he makes sure never to directly attack with his free hand keeping Ryujin Jakka one-handed at all times.

Basically, he was giving them a self-limiting handicap every time they fought. "Don't feel too bad." Bending down Rei patted Fuyumi on the head. "Your right, you guys did really good this time. Next time you might force me to use my Shikai." Giving words of encouragement Fuyumi looked excited as she stood up.

"Really!" Rei simply nodded as he dusted himself off and looked over at Seiki who was just waking up. "Sorry about hitting you so hard Seiki I put a little too much power into that kick." Rubbing his side, Seiki stood up and walked over to them picking up his Zanpakuto on the way.

"It's fine but did we at least win?" Hearing Seiki Fuyumi laughed lightly as Ren shook his head. "Damn... Team Rei Thirty-two, Team us Zero…" Hearing Seiki keeps track of the score Rei could hold in his laugh as all four of them began to make their way back into the building.

'Well, that was fun.'

--Quick Zanpakuto Ability Explanation!--

Seiki - Can control the gravity and weight of his Zanpakuto. He can easily make the blade despite it being three times his size weigh the same as a feather r increase its size by Ten Times. (Ten times is currently his limit.) On average the blade ways a Ton with its Sheath

Using the gravity side of things he can throw his Shikai and Sword like a boomerang despite it being too heavy to properly act like one.

Fuyumi - Any Liquid cut by her Zanpakuto will be absorbed into her Zanpakuto's inner space. (This space has a limit to how much it can hold.)

She can then convert any liquid absorbed and manipulate it to an absolute using her Zanpakuto as the catalyst. (Because of this she could in theory turn her Zanpakuto into a jet stream if she becomes proficient enough.)

Ren - Can cover himself in a ghost-like aura made of his own Reiatsu and Reiryoku. It can separate from his body and appear almost anywhere within a certain distance of himself. This ghost can imitate anything Ren himself see's at some point in his life including Kido. (It can't do anything that Ren personally couldn't. Including too high-level Kido.)
