NUAN chapter 5
300 years ago, at the palace of barren
Nuan a rare beast girl who was saved by the human couples was found all wounded and unconscious in the middle of the forest by Agata (elder brother of Itsuki), who found her accidentally during his hunt.
" master you should stop playing in the snowball right now, you might catch a cold". Ayane stated with a serious expression.
"haaaaaaaaaaa , i know Ayane stop being my mom all the time, I will never get a cold", said arata, as he still refused to listen to her and continued to play, they are all grown-up youths yet they always act like kids except Ayane.
" Don't worry Ayane we are completely alright, "Hachiro said as he paid no attention to her
Arata continued to play with the snow along with his elder foster brother hachiro .
Ayane frowned
" haha, Ayane don't worry about them they will be okay ". Itsuki ( Arata's mother) said as she was sipping on her tea.
Ayane was a bit annoyed since no one would listen to her, so she moved to another side to sit quietly.
"The wind is getting colder", she said, has she stretched out her hands as the snow started to fall.
everyone went inside the third house, all the servants went to their respective rooms. the snow started to fall heavily with strong wind, and Arata's mother was worried whether her big brother would make it home or not.
the main gate opened ,as a person showed up it was ( Ayane's father ), Agata Shi, he had someone carried on his shoulder, it was a girl who was similar age to the three of them.
" umm usually he hunts animals but this time he has bought an unconscious young girl ". itsuki thought in her mind as she went to take a look,
Agata Shi went straight inside the chamber of itsuke in the first house and laid the girl on the bed, she was unconscious, she was bleeding, and her ears and tail were shown, Agata understood that she was a beast girl.
"a beast girl? the lady said with a bit of surprise, "Yes, sister, but how come there is a beast girl in the human realm? the realm of beasts was destroyed a hundred years ago, yet she managed to suffer and stay alive for this long, it's a miracle" .agata said with a serious expression.
The next day, the snowfall stopped and the sky was clear, the servants came to clean her chambers but she did not let anyone inside. the beast girl's wounds were taken care of by Agata himself, since he used to live as a good hunter, he knew how to mend wounds just like a physician, he used some rare herbs which can be only found in the forests and mountains, and gave her herbal soups as she was unconscious, both of them kept it a secret. Itsuki refused to let anyone come in, Itsuki kept that a secret from everyone as per her brother's order, all the servants of the house were also forbidden to go inside, no one was allowed to go in. and the three kids were sent to tripe with Agata to the mountains were there are hot springs as an excuse. Itsuki took care of the girl
after a few days the girl slowly opened her eyes "Were am I "this place is different from where I used to live ". She mumbled as she was still laying. The door opened with a dragging sound ." o my your are awake, how do you feel now? are you feeling ok ?. itsuki asked the girl out of concern.
" it was hard to feed the medicines to you when you were unconscious ".
the girl struggled to get up, and she gave out a bit of a scared expression, as itsuki was about to remove the bandage from her shoulder to do dressing, the girl refused to let her touch.
"I am sorry, did I scare you? itsuki tried to comfort her
the girl realized that her ears and tail were showing by touching her head " my ears are showing ". She seemed even more scared of humans.
" don't worry I won't hurt you, my dear " itsukis warm smile gave her a grife not to be scared of her anymore.
"What is your name, little girl? you do seem just the age of my son. itsuki said with a smile. the girl thought for a while, she remembered the human couples who took care of her, they even sacrificed their lives for her. She began to cry thinking of the horrible things that happened to her, itsuki watched her with a pitiful expression on her face, and after some time she decided to answer "My name is nuan " slowly. the days went by nuan was able to recover as fast she could finally she was able to hide her tail and ears, after a couple more days, she was let out to roam around, the only person Nuan trusted was Itsuki, so she begged to work for her as her maid as gratitude to repay for her kindness and started to get along well with every one .but her secrets of being a beast girl was never revealed to anyone.
the three of them came back after two weeks of their trip with Agata Shi, the three of them were a bit surprised to see someone new in the house, who is of the same age as them. Nuan was dressed up simple, just like all other servants, she refused every fancy dress and thing given to her .since she want to be grateful to Lady Itsuki and others who saved her life, once again. she looked a bit attractive with her hair tied up and her beastly eyes
ayane went forward and greeted her, the boys were really shy even to utter a single word to Nuan, their hearts began to beat fast, hachiro slowly approached her and greeted and asked her to be one of their friends, while Arata stood staring at her and bowed to her suddenly and ran inside the first house, his face was all flushed. it can even be said that it's something called love at first sight for both of the brothers.
