The Finale
“Babe, the baby...” Leslie mumbled sleepily as she tried to shake Peter’s awake.
Peter grumbled before he got off the bed slowly and moved to the baby’s cradle and lifted the crying baby into his arms.
He kissed the baby’s forehead a few times as he wiped her tears and tried to coax her back to sleep.
However, the baby’s cries didn’t fade at all. Peter looked down at her helplessly before he put her back in the cradle and checked the baby’s diapers.
It’s full.
“You poor baby. No wonder you felt uncomfortable.”
Peter changed the baby’s diapers and made her another bottle of milk to coax her to sleep.
A few minutes after, the baby was fast asleep in his arms. He put her back in the cradle carefully with a doting expression on her face.
He went back to bed, pulling Leslie into his embrace, kissing her neck before he went back to sleep.
