“How’s your stomach? Is it still hurting?” Keith rubbed Vale’s stomach nervously.
“No.” Vale leaned deeper into his embrace.
Her eyes had turned red from crying, and her sniffle could be heard from time to time.
Old Nianci had long slipped away, tactfully giving the room to the couples.
There was a medium wet spot on Keith’s shirt, but it didn’t bother him at all.
He felt like he hadn’t hugged her for ages. So, what happened today made him exceptionally happy.
He wrapped his arm tightly around her and couldn’t help but sniffed her fragrance silently.
Hmm...what a refreshing fragrance!
They sat embracing each other for a few more minutes in silence when they heard a loud growl.
Keith’s mouth curled up when he heard it once more.
He looked down at the flush woman in his arms in amusement.
“I’ve never heard such a loud growl before. Did you have a wolf in your stomach?” he chuckled.
