" Raven." I called out, all attention shifting to me without anyone moving.

" Stand down," I ordered her.

Her hands shook, her resolve wavering as she looked at me and then back at Finn who stood behind her.

" You know I can't do that Ezekiel." Replied Raven.

" Then you die, alongside your little boyfriend there, is that what you want?" I asked, my voice low.

" If it comes down to it, yeah." She replied making me sigh.

" Is there anything I can do that won't lead in your death?" I asked her with a small smile.

" Just let me and Finn go and you won't have to kill me...." She muttered.

" Unpunished, I can't." I told her with a shake of my head.

" Then today I either kill a friend or you do." Was Raven's answer.

" If you give me no choice." I muttered hiding a smile as my focus lay on Finn.

His hands were shaky, eyes jittery and sweaty.

I had been fearful that the poison that I gave him wasn't working as intended but it seemed that I was wrong.

Now I was simply prolonging the altercation just so Finn could fuck up, I did not want to kill Raven today, or at all.

" Zek just give the order." Bellowed out Bellamy in a standoff with Raven.

" Bellamy you don't have to–?!" Raven had been saying before she found herself choked slightly from behind with a knife to her throat by Finn.

" STAND BACK!!" Finn shouted, his eyes livid and body shaking all the while his eyes never left Clarke.

" F-fi-finn!?! Wh-what ar-are you doing?!?" Shouted Raven surprised, her expression betrayed.

" Finn!" Came Clarke's screams of surprise and horror.

I quickly made hand signals with my raised arm and immediately everyone's guns were pointed at Finn.

" What are you doing Finn?" I asked finally moving for the first time since this altercation, with no gun pointed at me as I took a single step forward.

" Get back!" Finn shouted, the knife digging just slightly into Raven's flesh drawing blood." Don't come near me or else she's dead!"

" Finn stop!" Shouted Clarke as she tried to take a step towards Finn only to be grabbed by the shoulder by Bellamy.

" Clarke stand down." Bellamy ordered, his rifle still trained on Finn's head.

" Stand back! All of you!" Finn shouted, his voice breaking.

" What the hell are you doing Finn!" Shouted Clarke, her eyes wide and unbelieving as we stared at him holding Raven at knifepoint.

" F-finn?" Muttered out Raven, her eyes darting from the knife on her throat to us.

" Shut up!" He shouted at Raven, his teeth clenched before focusing on me.

" Now, you're gonna let me go or else I'll stab this bitch right here and right now!" Demanded the deranged teen.

To that, I paused, internally I was grinning.

' The poison is working finally...'

" Now why would we do that?" I asked making Finn's eyes widen before he pressed the knife deeper into Raven's neck which caused her to scream.

"AAHHHHH!" shrieked out Raven.

" Finn stop this!" Shouted Clarke.

" J-juts let me go and nobody will get hurt okay?!" He said his eyes softening every time he looked at Clarke.

" No." I muttered causing his frown to intensify, Clarke immediately turned to me unbelieving.

" Zek! Hell kill her!" She said loudly enough to be heard by those surrounding us.

" She deserves it, doesn't she?" I told her frowning at her." She tried to free and escape with him and was willing to shoot for it, why the fuck should I let either of them leave here?"

" Because she's your friend!" Shouted Clarke.

At that, I frowned before staring back at Raven and Finn.

I then scanned around the people watching with weapons held and thought about what I could do in this situation.

".....everyone, standby." I muttered loudly with a swift hand sign causing some to frown but adhere to my order as they lowered their guns a bit.

Clarke who was in my immediate sight sighed and looked relieved, Octavia frowned staring at the situation but kept her vigilance.

" M-make way for me!" Ordered out Finn before he started walking, everyone parted as he walked off towards the gates.

We, of course, followed behind him slowly, this had him walking backward with Raven still at knifepoint.

It was almost like a game of predator versus predator, waiting for the first sights of weakness before attacking.

He walked backward until reaching the gates, the tower guards had already opened the door and pointed the guns at Finn waiting to shoot at my command.

Finn though instead of walking away stopped.

" Let go of Raven and leave, you will not be harmed." I told him and for the most part, I was truthful.

I would hunt him down as soon as he entered those woods though.

" No." He said, his voice raspy and closely demented.

To this, I frowned, an expression mirrored by a lot of people around me.

" *Scoff* Ezekiel just let me kill him." Said Octavia fed up with this already but I dismissed her.

" What do you mean no?" I asked aloud actually a bit ticked off wondering what he was playing at." You can leave and we won't shoot you, just leave Raven."

" I will leave but..." Finn said before looking at Clarke." She has to come with me."

And to that, I froze, Clarke froze and even Raven who had not even been struggling in Finn's arm's stopped struggling and we just stared at each other.

" W-what?" Exclaimed out raven, betrayal and hurt marring her face.

" Clarke please come with me!" Said Finn ignoring the woman breaking in his hands." We can start a life together! Away from here so please come with me!" He shouted, his face a hint of joyous hope as attention shifted to the woman beside me.

We stared at her, I knew she wouldn't agree to that and so did most people but her answer was still needed.

" Wh-what?" Exclaimed Clarke, her eyes wide before she softly shook her head." N-no I can't do that Finn, just let Raven go...."

As soon as she said that I saw all Finn's hopes break down, his shaky hands paused as he looked at Clarke sadly before shifting his eyes to me.

His eyes turned to hate in a split second as he stared at me.

" Y-You! This is all your fault!" He shouted at me before looking at the girl in his arms.

He then stared back at me and grinned and immediately I realised what he was about to do.

" Goodbye Raven." Muttered Finn before he dragged the knife deeply into Raven's neck.

" NO!!!!" Shouted out Clarke.

Finn hearing that took that moment and dashed out of the gate and ran, just as Raven's body fell to the ground Finn was almost into the trees and all that was in my mind was.

' Oh damn...'
