The message was written in bold. Loki clicked on the yes button and suddenly, the whole room was engulfed in darkness.

Running as fast as he can through the long passage way. Two goblins shaped shadows appeared in front of him. The goblins quickly came out the shadows and charged straight of him. Loki had to react, he draw out his dagger out of his inventory, which had appeared automatically.

The two goblins were fast approaching, and In response, Loki ran in a zigzag pattern to confuse the approaching monsters. It worked, the first goblin swung it's sword at him. He quickly dodged and ignored it and ran for the second one.

It was surprised and it slowed down. When it did, he kicked it at the side of it's face and turned around just in time to dodge the first one's second attempt.

As he was dodging, he had just enough time to swing his dagger at it, and so he did. It fell to the ground and that was the end of it. Not wasting time, Loki turned around again and round house kicked the second goblin.

As it was about to fall, he stabbed it in it's chest and they fell, landing on the floor. Loki got up on his feet, examining himself if he had acquired some injuries.

Well that was close, even the small level monsters can inflict some powerful damage.

The goblin corpses turned into Ash and left behind two floating blue bottle shaped icons on the floor. Mana portions! I thought the were rumors but its true. This floor only has monsters that drop Mana portions. Loki had been in the dungeon for sometime, collecting the necessary materials to craft a new weapon.

I can't find what I need here, its time to go Home.

He walked up to the Mana portions, they where collected and they showed up in his inventory.

The elevator stopped, and the doors opened, revealing a hotel lobby. They were two men who were wearing some type of uniform for an organisation. They looked as if they were guarding I. He walked out and headed for the reception area.

"I would like to check out of the dungeon," Loki said to the receptionist.

THE EXPLANATION

Two years ago there was an incident that changed the balance of the world, the appearance of the dungeons. These dungeons had floors beginning from the top, we're the weakest monsters were to the bottom were the boss resides.

These dungeons are usually found under ground and there are two types. Annual and Permanent dungeons. The annual dungeon only appears every year and each year it gets more difficult. It only lasts 24 hours, and if it is not cleared by then, the monsters will break out of the dungeon and attack people. To get reed of them, the boss must be defeated.

Permanent dungeons appear randomly, at any time and anywhere, appearing underneath the earth. Even when the boss is defeated, the will not vanish. The monsters will just respawn and fill up the dungeon again. But researchers have found a way to get reed of them destroying the core of the dungeon. The dungeon core can literally be found anywhere in the dungeon, making it difficult to get reed of them.

Dungeon Seekers, these people are responsible for defeating the monsters and clearing the dungeon. When the dungeons appeared, some people awakened abilities and these abilities called skills, would he used to fight the monsters with the help of Mana. These people are called aweakeners.

Mana is the life force that all creatures have. Mana in a body was only used as a fuel for the brain. But when you become an aweakener, you can now use mana for other things. Normal weapon does not work on the monsters but only mana weapons do.

Aweakeners can see status screens that show the there inventory and there current condition three body is in and how much health and mana they have. They also show them there current stats.

Loki was also among the aweakeners who became a dungeon seeker.

Loki handed over his dungeon card to the receptionist. THE card identify's you as a dungeon seeker. Loki was part of the phoenix guild, the second biggest guild in West alia which was under the Dungeon Seekers Association.

She smiled as she got the card from him and inserted it in the machine. After a few seconds, the machine made a sound and she removed the card and gave it back to him." Thank you for your services," she said to him. He simply smiled and said,"thanks ,"and he went on his way. The hotel he just walked out of, underneath it was a dungeon. It was used as one of the Dungeon Seekers Association's base of operations for the city of Hill crest.

Out of the hotel, Loki turned to his left and walked in that direction, walking along side the road. A black car came from behind and stopped in front of him. The back window rolled down,revealing a man who was in his early 50s, with white facial hair and white hair.

A deep voice came out of his mouth.

"Loki, come in and let's talk."

This man was one of the recruitment officers from Nexus guild, that was trying to recruit Loki in Nexus. But he was not interested.

Loki

-I already told you, I said I'm not interested Daiki.

Daiki

-Come on Loki, this can be a great deal for you.

Loki

-...

Daiki

-Don't give me the silent treatment boy and get in the car.

Loki

-What more do you want from me, I already said no.

Daiki

-What if I said I have a job for you.

Loki stopped as he was about to walk away. He looked at him and said, "I already had a quest completed, I have to go Home."

He continued on his way . Daiki did not want him to leave so he said to him, " I have the items you need to craft you weapon." Loki stopped and turned around.

Daiki

-You are the only pro rank dungeon seeker with the skills to complete it.

Loki did not say anything. After thinking things through, he reconsidered.

Loki

-What dungeon is it.

Daiki responded, " The overpass dungeon."

Loki arrived at the seen,he was prepared for the unknown. He had with him, level 3 armor, which was infused with mana. All types of dungeon mana was invisible, if a person is wearing dungeon armor, you could only see the clothes. Loki's armor reduced 10%damage. He had a sword level 2 sword that delt 17% damage to the monsters. In his inventory he had two low level healing portions for recovering health and one high level mana portion. He also that a cantin of water for stamina recovery and his trustee dagger. I'm ready to go.

Under the over pass on the main highway stood a wooden door. It was connected to the wall of the over pass and it just stood there. Loki claimed down the ladder to see the door for himself. When he got there, he whipped out his trustee dagger in case monsters were to attack him as he walked in.

He continued to walk to the door with a cautious mind. Before he can hold the handle, the door opened by itself. He hesitated a bit before he continued through the door. At the other side of the door was pitch black, he could not see anything.

Then suddenly, torches lit up revealing a great corridor with pillars that touched the ceiling. The torches lit up from orange to blue and a great hord of monsters appeared in the shadows, filling up the corridor.

The monsters varied from goblins to undead knights to lizard men. The all ran at Loki with weapons in there hands. Loki was surprised, he switched his dagger for his sword, but there were one to many monsters for him to handle.

He only had two options, FIGHT OR FLIGHT.
