The Fugitive Princess

WARNING: MATURE CONTENT! Aria's POV The world had given nothing but cruelty to me. Being a princess might sound a good idea, but trust me, it's not. I grew up living in fear of myself, a discovery of what I might be. A discovery that costed the absence of my mother in my childhood. Instead, my father, a cold hearted man, raised me. I thought he hated me but he was trying to protect me from the same cruel world that snatched his wife. And then he came into my life, a guiding light in the darkness. A missing puzzle that made me complete. Leon, my personal knight! If he was an angel or a devil in disguise, that, I didn't know! ***** Other books by the author The Assassin's Redemption: A Princess's Journey To Forgiveness Cover is originally mine

For My Father

Aria had found a bush behind a huge tree and that's where she hid with the wounded crown prince. His wound only worsened with every waking second.

"Search the area. They haven't gone far!" She heard someone order the knights. They scattered around the dense woods, eyes out in search of the princess.

"Fetch the dogs!" She heard the same guy order. That was not going to be good, she thought. She needed to move before the sniffers arrived.

But Julian was the problem here. He was too heavy to carry, the few minutes she had tried had proved it. But why was she running, and she had magic? Maybe she was too scared to use it before but wasn't this the right time? Nonetheless, she would die if she got on the move.

Determined, she stood from her hiding place, her mission clear; to divert the search party away from where Julian was.

"I will come for you," she whispered at Julian. His lips had turned pink. He tried to move them but Aria was already gone!
