The Fugitive Princess

WARNING: MATURE CONTENT! Aria's POV The world had given nothing but cruelty to me. Being a princess might sound a good idea, but trust me, it's not. I grew up living in fear of myself, a discovery of what I might be. A discovery that costed the absence of my mother in my childhood. Instead, my father, a cold hearted man, raised me. I thought he hated me but he was trying to protect me from the same cruel world that snatched his wife. And then he came into my life, a guiding light in the darkness. A missing puzzle that made me complete. Leon, my personal knight! If he was an angel or a devil in disguise, that, I didn't know! ***** Other books by the author The Assassin's Redemption: A Princess's Journey To Forgiveness Cover is originally mine

Avery and Eldrid

The scaled woman led Aria through a narrow pathway emerging from a vast undersea monumental building. Aria traced her fingers on the symbols carved on the wall. Wait. She spotted an alchemy symbol. Where had she seen it? Yes! The magic book. Everything here was written in ancient Avonese!

"The first practitioners of magic assembled here," the woman began, pointing at an alchemy circle in the center. It was star shaped with seven sharp corners surrounded by a circular ring. "Here, they discovered both light and dark magic and discerned it from each other."

Aria walked closer, her eyes fixated on all the carvings inscribed on the wooden floor. Instinctively, she crouched low and touched the circle when it suddenly glowed golden. Surprised, she took a few steps back.

"My assumption is never wrong," the woman said, a smile plastered on her face. "You are a true descendant of Avary and Eldrid."
