The Fugitive Princess

WARNING: MATURE CONTENT! Aria's POV The world had given nothing but cruelty to me. Being a princess might sound a good idea, but trust me, it's not. I grew up living in fear of myself, a discovery of what I might be. A discovery that costed the absence of my mother in my childhood. Instead, my father, a cold hearted man, raised me. I thought he hated me but he was trying to protect me from the same cruel world that snatched his wife. And then he came into my life, a guiding light in the darkness. A missing puzzle that made me complete. Leon, my personal knight! If he was an angel or a devil in disguise, that, I didn't know! ***** Other books by the author The Assassin's Redemption: A Princess's Journey To Forgiveness Cover is originally mine

Annoying Bastard

When Elena woke up, she was met by a slightly pink ceiling. This one was different to what she was used to the last few days. She surveyed the place and found the heavy velvet curtains drawn to let in light.

I thought vampires didn't like light. Or maybe they did it because of her. She was about to move when she felt someone's presence beside her. Startled, she turned to find Gabriel seated on a rocking chair, a book in his hand.

"For a moment, I thought you were dead," he said without looking from his book. He snapped it close and met with her surprised face.

"I admire your appetite for sleep," he chuckled and rose from the chair.

Elena was confused by his statement. Exactly how long did she sleep? And as if he had read her mind, he answered.

"We arrived yesterday afternoon with you glued on my shoulders. I had to carry you from the carriage to our room. You should have seen the maids giggle."

Was he proud of that?
