time skip - 4 years later and 3months later(make it so 5 years have past)

sapphire" So, it's been a while, well it at least feels that way for some reason, anyway the important thing that has happened within the last 4 - 5 years is, my mana core awoken, ha I know it would happen, screw you mum and dad... wait they do that already... anyway this has unlocked a couple of skills like double sp, and double exp for some reason it also gave some extra information on some skills like how the adaptability feat is a reincarnated unique skill same with double sp and exp, oh I because I awoke my mana core I got some monster stuff, actually I'll just show you it will be easier :3.

So this has what's changed, an ok amount of growth for someone who can't do god makers(push-ups), oh and the reason why it's not +5 or whatever is because " apparently" if I evolve fully too soon I'll be crippled later for some reason... well there is a way around it but it's like torture or something so ye, my parents being decent people won't allow that to happen.

Oh so about mana cores the ranking of them...

Thankfully I was able to read about this in one of the books about basic magic knowledge book: there are six stages within the human mana core and in order from lowest to highest they are, black, red, orange, yellow, silver and white and within all stages are 3 mini stages that include unstable, stable and complete.

For monster cores, they are arranged in letters instead of colour and these letters go from G to SSS.

Monster cores can be used in many ways some of them being for mana core evolutions, batteries, and potion making, and depending on the level of monster core will determine the effectiveness and potency of what it's used for.

so I now need to worry and do my best to not be gutted by like everyone... great. (￣∇￣)

another thing for the evolution to naturally occur, I need to wait until I'm about 16 or older to not be crippled so great, looks like I'm a be a very cute fox for a while, this is gonna make it awkward, well more awkward when I finally meat jonk in this world so that's annoying.

um what else oh right so apparently my parents have been sending letters to some family friend from some war they both attended, think they're called the lion family or something... and they are a mix of a lion beast kin race, and humans so that's something. The naming convention is a bit off though at least my name is original and doesn't describe what I am...

oh, ye they are coming to visit in like two or three weeks though so it might be good to see them for once, they also have a new young boy called Jack around my age.

That's all I know about then, oh except they are some kind of noble family in a large city, I think it was called Dragon Fire City or something.

oh ye the sp thing, portly sure is mean skill point or something anyway the reason why I ain't using them right now is because I actually know there will be some sh@t sooner or later because of the wish thing so I'm keeping them for a rainy day, so let's hope that the smart move.

Kira" Sapphire, come here quickly me and your dad want to talk to you. She said from inside the living room.

picking up some meat from the kitchen side sapphire jumps down, and trots happily towards the living room.

"So Sapphire, me and Dad have been thinking about something, this something happens to be about you, so we decided to buy a specific item to help us out and answer a couple of questions we have. So will you kindly put your paw on this pendant for us… please"

sapphire "Why does that sound fishy.. like they're trying to manipulate me into doing something... ah it's nothing." Sapphire thought inside her head

sapphire puts her paw on the pendant, after a couple of seconds it starts to glow and numbers rapidly spin past until stopping on a number... the number being 26.

" so we thought right, you are older than you should be... reincarnation, never thought we'd be so lucky.

sapphire drops the meat she had in her mouth and it lands on the floor with a wet splash sound.

Kira" I told you, I know she was one, I said she acted strangely and understood things way too quickly.

"well sapphire, can you nod to us if you have some kind of panel or something, please?

Kira" OK Sapphire, you don't need to panic, we want to know because if you do, you are most likely a hero's candidate, is a very well-known thing when reincarnated people appear they normally help out with a great threat that will appear, so most likely a demon lord will be reincarnated soon... well maybe more then one or it's going to be stronger then the previous once's as apparently according to the lion family there are a couple of reincarnated people and summoned people popping up in dragon fire city and others.. so that a really bad sign.

Sapphire slowly coming to terms with what her parents just dropped onto her, she slowly nods her head

skannon" So, does it say you have a hero's mark?!" He says excitedly.

sapphire shakes her head

oh... well it's not too late... maybe it's because you don't have a human form. That could be the reason you don't have a hero's mark yet. "Under his breath" Man I wanted to show her off."

Kira" Oh Sapphire, just so you know if you don't get a hero's mark we will never stop loving you... Oh right, I should probably explain what a hero's mark is.

A hero's mark is a mark that appears on someone's body that provides them with benefits and also shows who is a potential hero candidate, most of the reincarnated ones get it at some point and summoned once's get it instantly. Oh, another thing if you ever get one tell us and also tell us when you get your first mission, we will do our best to prepare you to do it with as much ease as possible."

skannon" So honey, when she gets her human body, that means she can train with me more right she will have better potential as a reincarnated person, so she should be well-rounded right?

"fine, you can train her more when the time comes, but she will learn manners suited for a lady, she won't be like those brutish female adventures got it?" Kira says searously.

hey, I understand perfectly dear, just want to have more farther, daughter time that's all. A nervous laugh comes out.

Kira" Oh, how is the magic writing coming along sapphire, making progress?"

Sapphire wanting to show her improvement puts her paw up, and with a large amount of concentration can put out a bit of magic that starts to form into the letter a... only to collapse shortly after.

Kira and Skannon" Good job."

Kira" It's actually a hard thing to accomplish magic writing so, you'll get there soon, It takes a bit of magic control to pull off so don't feel down."

weeks later

Sapphire" Let's play tag :)." She writes with wobbly writing as she talks to Alex.

"I'm sorry saph, I can't right now, I have to do extra training with Dad as I failed are last training goal, but afterwards definitely, I promise ok?"

Sapphire" :( "

"Hey, I said I promise, when have I ever broken one of those?

" Ok :)"

Alex's appearance: Alex is around 4ft2 in height or around 128.016 cm. He is wearing a basic dark blue top, and black trousers, with fur-covered boots, he has medium-length hair that is still black with purple hues and white tips, and his eyes are slitted and have a purple colour to them. He is well-toned for his age, this is from the training his dad puts him through. ( bodyweight only)

sapphire follows Alex to watch him and her dad train as she always finds it fascinating to see.

The main things they do are god makers(pushups), sit-ups, squats, burpees, zig-zag jogging, farmer's walks, pull-ups and crunches.

after that, they went and did some sparing, the best part in my opinion.

"Over here." a faint voice says

"over here."

"I need your help."

sapphire looks to where the voice is coming from, a small girl, partly see-through can be seen in between the trees

and doing a come here jester to Sapphire.

Sapphire goes towards the spirit girl leaving shallow footprints in the snow.

Before Sapphire can get too close the spirit speaks once more

"I need your help, can you follow me... I'll pass on afterwards willingly."

"Sure, always glad to help when I can. Show the way."

the spirit then vanishes, and then reappears a few feet ahead, doing this repeatedly when sapphire gets close.

this happens for a good couple of minutes going deeper and deeper into the forest that surrounds the small village. Sapphire getting further and further away from safety.

a couple more minutes later

sapphire seemingly started to sweat and looked around at the unknown part of the Forest she had lived nearby, never really allowed to go too far as her parents are quite protective, but giving her space as well, she was smart enough to know not to do stupid things... right?

"girl, are we close, I need to head back soon, my parents will get worried if I'm gone for too long."

around her within the spirit vail, there seems to be an increase of smaller more menacing spirits, crawling over everything, sticking to the fallen branches, slime-like spirits slinking into the shadows made by the forest, hiding from her gaze attempting to not get cleansed and pass on.

a black ball-like spirit falls from one of the trees landing on sapphire back.

"run, it sees us."

"cling to the fox, it has nice energy."

it's small, if we gang up we can take it."

"we can take it all, hurry up."

"get out, this is our home."

"more invaders, get away."

"a small and lost fox, what a nice snack."

"can it see us?"

getaway, we don't want to go"

they killed us for food, I was scared."

Different spirits can be heard, louder than normal.

"why are there so many here... there shouldn't be this many spirits in this forest, plenty for us to help the spirits pass on... something wrong.

an old fox spirit soon emerges

"RUN, IT AAAAAAHHHHH" the fox spirit screams in pain as the small girl rips it apart.

"sorry."

A red screen pops up

{EMERGENCY MISSION EMERGENCY MISSION}

kira" Shiiiiiiiiii." As it goes dark, a bag is thrown over her, engulfing her whole.

unknown man" Good job, seems we caught a gullible one, and it's a fox born, seems we got lucky men, the boss is gonna be happy.

a group of men in light gear suddenly drop down from the tree tops, landing in the snow, but barely making sound.

"unknown man, stop squirming fox, it's annoying."

sapphire panicking starts making noise and does her best to release as much mana as possible, trying to freeze the back to get out.

only for her to make a yelping sound and stop moving as the unknown man hits the bag with force, knocking are protagonist out.

"ghost, get her memories, might as well have some fun before we leave." A maniacal laugh follows soon after.

a couple of minutes later

"oh really, so they are her parents, and you think the primary target is in the basement fantastic, the boss is gonna have a field day with this one especially as we capture their kid." An evil grin appeared on his face.

he pulls out a small glowing stone and speaks into it providing information to whoever is on the other side most likely the 'boss'.

unknown man "Understood, it's southwest of our location, around 30 minutes out, we will get closer and provide our location so you can get the archers ready, and give a personal visit to those two once more for stealing our property from us.

soz for the slightly shorter chapter I didn't know what to write about and I wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger thing.

oh also I know the pacing is a bit slower than some, well I think so anyway and I hope people can stick with it as I a, wanting to expand on the characters a tad with it being a bit slower, let's see if it works anyway, and ye there will be other world travel, but that will be a bit later into the light novel, oh and soon I will change the pov for a small amount soon, it will be to the other protagonist.
