Crazy meet the butcher

Katherine walks down the corridors of high school. When she hears a familiar voice she smiles and picks up a metal bat from her warehouse. The doors open wide and she can see him standing there holding Tyler.

"Hehe." Katherine laugh happily.

"Nicklaus you look good. I aim to change that." As if rock music started playing. Katherine sped to Klaus and punched him in the face.

He hasn't seen that move but he go ready to see what is going on. Katherine seems to be fast. He focused on his hearing. Katherine saw his thoughts as clear as a picture.

He stagers pretending to have lost his balance but then, With lightning fast reflex, he launched Tyler like a throwing knife straight to her. This action is meat to block her sight. Katharine smirked seeing this. She used her spiritual force to lock on his every action.

Klaus thinking he has her blind, speeds to behind her and aim to pull out her heart. However, he saw her facing him as if she has been waiting for him to come. His hand that has been stretched out became a simple distraction he used the other hand to try and decapitate her.

Katherine did not panic. She did not swim in boiling medical soup just to be bested by a simple hand. This hybrid will need more than a normal weapon to decapitate her.

After reaching to release her head from her neck, Klaus felt like he has hit a hard steel object. The beast cultivation technique that Katherine had need using is a body oriented technique. The body is hard as diamond during combat or when it senses danger the skin will harden.

It is even more precise when the beast is conscious because they can see where the attack is going to land and the body will defend itself. The notion of pulling out her heart is a pipe dream. She had wished the others can also have this technique but it is tailored only for her fox kin.

Katherine sent out a mental attack. She doesn't like to use this ability but it is part of the mind arts. She opened her mouth and screamed. The windows of the jym shattered outward but the people only had bleeding ear drums. The person who is the target of the attack is not so lucky.

Klaus felt his entire body shake. But the worse part is his mind. He felt like a thousand horses galloping inside his head making his clear head dizzy. That attack has been fierce enough for her to distance herself from him. He could not come back to his senses even after a few seconds.

Katherine used this time to use her bat that she had sent back to the warehouse to land that first punch. She raised the metal bat and swung it true. 'Bang' 'Bang' 'Bang'

She had hit just enough to break the bones but not crush them.

"I heard a rumor." She got in followed by Ric and May along with Annabelle. June is somewhere in the shadows he is watching Rebekah closely. "That a rabid dog is terrorizing children in their place of self improvement. Now I see it's true." She eyed Klaus as he doubles over in pain. The head is still buzzing loudly but he can already feel his healing working overtime.

The problem is he is blind because of the attack on his mind now he is trying to hit something in front of her.

"I will kill you Katharina, do you think you have won? Show yourself!" He shouts. He wants to anger her into making a mistake.

"I did enjoy slaughtering your entire family that time, Is that why you're here? To avenge the dead? Piece of advice sweetheart, just morn them and move on." 

"I am moving on Nick, I am moving on to finding knew hobbies, like destroying a king." She bashed his back hard almost making him cripple. She didn't stop there, shoulder, hip, second knee. She bashed him good.

"Why don't you tell me how much you enjoyed killing my family again? That's right, You are currently blind, crippled and deaf. So I'm talking to myself. Violence! Am I right?"

Katherine seems to be having the time of her life. Standing there with a bloody bat on one hand and the other hand on her hip cycling Klaus with glee in her eyes. 

"I do hope you'll last longer than my last Original brother." 

"Bang" the left shoulder got crushed next. Klaus couldn't scream, he didn't want to disgrace himself in front of children.

"Nick!"

Rebekah tried to speed behind Katherine but her speed is stolen and she ends up running in slow motion. Katherine gave her a ruthless kick. "You are to stand there and watch as you have always done when your tyrant brother butchers innocents. You will not get in my way!"

Rebekah got incensed by the attention and wanted Katherine to focus on her and give her brother some room to heal. She got excited and started shouting.

"I am going to rip you apart and feed you to the dogs. I will distribute pieces of you all over Europe. Release me you wrench!" Rebekah spews colorful threats making Katherine interested in her. Katherine turned and looked at Rebekah with a tilted head. 

Klaus is down and bleeding on the ground. But his body is mending itself together.

She sent a mental command to Bobby.

Bobby poison her.

Raja that.

Rebekah felt she is getting back her speed, however, she felt cold sharp small blades digging in her neck. Then cold air traveled from that point to the entirety of her body.

She turned and saw a pair of cold blue eyes staring down at her. Rebekah's entire body turned rigid she couldn't move a finger. It feels like being inside a stone body out of your control. Bobby removed her claws glowing ice blue with frost smoke coming out of them making her look like an Ice goddess. 

"Now, with which arm did you handle my fledgling? I did not see. Well let's destroy both to send a clear message shall we?" Rebekah heard all the words and each word pierced her heart.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Gasps and screams rang in the large hall. Everyone looked on in horror including Klaus. He saw his sisters frozen body fall to the ground like hard stone. Then her two arms were shattered by a baseball bat while he couldn't move a muscle.

Paige has him on locked space at the position on his knee because the leg is broken on the other side.

"Now, where were we? Are yes. Violence...hehe." It is obvious the memories of Katherine's deceased family did a number on her. Katherine is not just doing this because she is enjoying it, which she is. She is doing it because this man did something horrible to Katherine and he doesn't seem bothered by it. Not even a little bit. In fact he is rather proud of his exploits.

Paige released him from space lock and as soon as he felt it lift he sprang to action. His jump is surprising considering the pain he must be in, but he is a wolf after all. In the air reaching for her neck, he grabbed her neck and used the other hand to try and pry open her chest. However, he is greeted by the same hard exterior which makes him greet his teeth in anger.

That series of fast movements had been the limit of his body at it's current state. He drops like a puppet losing it's strings. Katherine smiled seeing this. Klaus's eyes retained the fury from before. There is not even a hint of despair. What an interesting opponent. 

She showed her hand which had claws. The color is ghastly black. Each claw seems to be burning in black flames or is it a shadow? She thrusts her clawed hand inside his chest and pierced his heart with her claws.

The people In the hall heard the man who has terrorized them release an anguished scream that send shivers down their spine. What could be so painful that a man who hasn't screamed a single time all this while being bashed by a bat is releasing such a ghastly sound?

They each decided to never get on this women's bad side.

She can take the effect of medicine and make her into her own skills. She had made a couple of medical pills a while back to prepare for this moment. The claws transfer the medical pills into his system.

'Hehe.' A little vampire hybrid, let's see how you survive being driven into madness by your own mind. When the process is done she looked at the man clearly in terrible pain.

"Good, good, good. Say the important things thrice." Katherine said to no one in particular.

She put her claws on his chin and pulled it to her. "Do you see it Nicklaus? The monster you have created?" She smiled and wiped her hand on his top.

"I am sorry, does she mean something to you? She seems rather charmless."

"I...will...kill ... you." his hoarse voice laced with pain made it's way to Katherine. 

"You should have killed me with my family back then, but you let me run. You wanted me to live a life of fear so that you will feel good about yourself. How is it now? Do you feel good Nicklaus? Do you not feel like the helpless boy beaten repeatedly by that man you called father? Huh? Do you feel powerful?" She looked at his pain stricken face that shows hate and fury. 

"You are not the only one with venom. It won't kill you but for the next days you will be reliving all those sweet memories that made you the hybrid that you are." She slapped his face twice.

"Isn't it great? You are not alone anymore." She opened her arms wide. she then bowed in greeting. 

"I am of fox kin. These are my nine tails though they are of wolf descend, we are a family now. How does that make you feel Nick? You killed my birth family but now I have wolves as family while you put your own family in boxes. How tragic foe you."

"No allies, no friends, and no family. A lone wolf is such a sorry sight to see. No body likes you. The only person who could have accepted you for who you are dumped you all those years ago. So sad."

"You should take a break and think about what you have done." She ignored him and turned around to see her nine tails waiting for orders. Her eyes wondered and saw a familiar form. 

She turned to look at Tyler who is standing there looking stunned. "The last time I saw you I was trying to kill you....why would you be in my presence again? Are we reliving our fond memories of that time? See to it that you leave town so the hybrid doesn't find you." 

"No! Katherine, this is his home." Caroline shouted but Tyler got the message clear.

"Whatever." Katherine is about to leave when Elena stands in front of her.

"Do you need something?" Katherine looked at her coldly.

"Thank you, I don't know what he would have done." She is still taking when she saw that Katherine is long gone. She stomped her foot.

Stefan got in long time ago and since he didn't have to do anything he just watched as Klaus got his ass handed to him.

Inside his head he is living a life worse than the one he live as a child. The memories are vivid, recalling the smallest details in one night he relived most of his childhood. Katherine's venom is very poisonous it not only disturbs the mind but shakes the spirit. The terrible memories return fresh every time.

Katherine had done this so she can weaken his spiritual power. Just because they don't use it for nothing other than compulsion doesn't mean it is not there, and for her next plan she needs his spirit as weak as possible.

The person can not be numb since they feel every trauma as if it is taking place that very moment, the pain is real if the mind thinks it is real. That night, Bonnie cloaked Tyler and he fled.

Rebekah woke up from a nightmare. She saw her powerful brother bested at the hands of what seems to be a crazy Petrova doppelganger. She lost both her hands. She will have to be without the use of her hands for a long time.

She managed to drag her frozen brother out of there and into the Salvatore house but got rejected by both the ripper and Damon.

Damon came out of a bathroom changed his clothes and went to have a drink. He found Stefan who has been missing for such a long time sitting there drinking blood from a glass.

"You're back? When did you come back?" Damon is so excited but is met with Stefan's disregard. Stefan looks at him for a single moment then continues drinking.

"Is that all you have for me? A single look? Do you have any idea how worried I have been looking for you?" Damon attacked his little brother but Stefan just side stepped him.

"We need to talk about Katherine. Stop fooling around." Stefan said.

Hearing the hard tone of his blood high brother, he knows it must be something important if he is willing to bother with it. Damon poured himself a glass and drank.

"I'm listening." Damon said.

"What do you remember about what Katherine did to you in the Gilbert house?"

"Why are we talking about that?" Damon clenched his jaw.

"She tortured me."

"Yes, how? Do you remember the specifics?"

Damon thought about it and then looked to Stefan with a surprised expression.

"I can't remember." Damon admitted.

"I know, I didn't either. Today I saw her trash Klaus like it was nothing. She did things I still can't understand so I can't explain them. One thing is for sure. She is powerful. Immensely so."

"Wait, are you telling me that Katherine, who we worked together with Elena to chase away during the time when we could use a strong ally is actually powerful enough to beat Klaus after he unlocked his werewolf?" Damon asks in disbelief.

"Yeah. After seeing her do all that, the memories of what happened last time came to me. I think she had taken this knowledge from us before. I remember it now because she revealed too much today. I remember how powerful she had been but what I don't understand is why make us forget?"

"What could she get from remaining low key?" Damon started laughing.

"I think I know." Damon said.

"Had she shown how powerful she is we would have asked her to stop the ritual. Remember how invested she was In ensuring the curse is broken? She wanted him to break it then beat him just when he feels invincible." Damon gave a self deprecating laugh.

"We not only didn't give her a reason to help us but also drove her away. Jenna would have never been in that ritual." Damon kicked a table having it fly away and crash.

"I also have another theory. I think she was testing us. How we will treat her if she is not a powerful person. We failed and she has completely given up on us and Elena."

"What do you mean?"

"She ignored her, completely disregarded her presence. She did distroy Klaus's little sister's arms for roughly pulling Caroline. She called Caroline her fledgling." Stefan shared.

"We were so stupid. She had shown nothing but good will except that time she tortured me. She apologized to Jenna, to Caroline and enhanced Jeremy. Why did we do it?" Damon asks with frustration.

"To keep Elena safe. Jenna was also Elena showing her power. By refusing her, Katherine will remember that this is Elena's family, not hers. Which is why she went and made a new family for herself." Stefan who is not clouded by emotions thought back and analyzed.

"She saw you and didn't say anything to you? No snarky comment about ripper or the fact you are paying for discarding her?" Damon asked surprised.

"No, she didn't even look my way." Stefan said.

"She must be pissed. We should apologize and we gain an ally Klaus goes down." Damon said

"She seems done with us." Stefan said not really showing much care on the topic.

"You should have seen it. It was glorious. I have wanted to bash Klaus's skull in a hundred times but couldn't. She walked in there with a metal bet in her hand. There had been a time where Klaus got a jump on her and tried to decapitate her. His hand bounced as if he had hit something hard. The same thing happened when he tried to pull out her heart."

"Sounds amazing." Damon admitted.

"But something doesn't add up. When she dealt with Rebekah Klaus couldn't move as if he is locked in place. Something is up with her group of followers. She calls them her nine tails."

"One of them made Rebekah run slow enough for Katherine to give her a ruthless kick. One kept Klaus in a boundary of some sort, another one used her claws to freeze Rebekah's entire body, turning it to an ice sculpture. Then Katherine swung her bat on her arms shattering them to pieces." 

"Umm.... super powers? It is some sort of wolf witch hybrid?" Damon asked but Stefan shrugged.

"You should go talk to her. She always preferred you to me. Maybe we can be friends again and she can say all those hurtful things to everyone. Don't you miss it? I'll even bribe you with my limited collection side bar special. How about it?" Damon took out a special bottle with golden alcohol.

"What is that?" Stefan asked.

"Don't even think about it." Damon opened the bottle and a smell of strong alcohol wafting out made Stefan twitch his nose.

Rebekah used her mouth to remove the dagger from Elijah's chest and passed out from the pain.

Elijah woke up with a start, he saw that he is inside a coffin. He spent a few minutes contemplating his choices.

This man here is currently throwing a tantrum, when the time comes he will hold back.

The one bond that even an entity such as time can not completely sever.

Your devotion to your brother is pathological

The one bond that is absolute. Family.

Elijah sighed and woke up feeling very hungry and wondering how much time has passed. He got out of the coffin. Seeing his other family members. He let out a sigh of relief, at least they are not lost.

He saw his little sister's sorry form. Not far is Klaus's body. It seems the first Nicklaus decided to wake was their relatively obedient little sister and then they both met with an accident. He took his brother's body and put him in the coffin. 

He studied Nicklaus, he seems to be conscious. Also in tremendous pain. Elijah left to feed and when he came back he looked for the keys and drove to the place where the witches had been staying.

It happens that the house is now available since the witches are no doubt far away from this place. Elijah put everyone inside and went into Rebekah's mind to find out what took place.

"Katharina." He said lowly as if growling.

He went to the Salvatore house and heard their conversations about Katherine and also heard where she lives. He didn't waste any time going there.

It is a beautiful and large estate. Perhaps he will take it for himself once he finishes with her. He took a step inside the gate but is bounced off as if he touched a barrier. He fell back on his ass.

He looked on in astonishment as a golden barrier showed up when he put his hand on it. It seems to be very peculiar type of barrier.

"Katharina!" He shouts but a long time pass but no one comes to welcome him. He is about to lose his temper when a young man comes out wearing black Jean's and a blue shirt. His eyes are blue and piercing.

"She is sleeping. Leave your name she will contact you when she is up." He said and Elijah finally looses his temper.

He speeds and tries to grab him by the neck. The man just moves slightly and the hand passes. Elijah adjust the direction, the same thing happens again. Seeing that Elijah I'd not stopping his actions. Mikel steps inside the barrier.

He turned around and walked casually to the house. Elijah breaks a branch from a tree and throws it to the man's back but the branch bounced and attacked him instead.

He is shocked. Helpless he turns and goes back to his place. When he gets there, he removes the daggers from Kol and Finn.

He studies Rebekah's body, it is obvious she is frozen from inside. He feeds her the blood, at first it seems to be working and then it stops. No matter how much blood he feeds her she can't drink it.

He became mad at himself for letting this happen. He should have killed her when she first showed hostility towards his family. Instead he entertained her and try to make her trust him.

Left with no choice he went to employ the Salvatore brothers for help. He found them with Elena there having an awkward atmosphere.

"Forgive me for intruding at this hour but I'd like a word." Elijah said

"You? What was it that you said. I'm a man of my word Katharina I make a deal I keep a deal." Damon mocked. 

"Unless it's a threat to my family. I believe that is what Katharina had said at the time. It appears she knew me better than I knew myself." He said without shame.

"Why are you here?" Stefan asked but he has an idea.

"It appears I require your assistant."

"Hehe.." Damon laughs.

"There is no relationship between us and Katherine." Stefan says.

"You want Katherine to remove whatever she put inside your brother? Don't you?" Elena asked and Elijah confirmed it true.

"She doesn't even want to see us. Why would she help you?" Elena said.

"Because I will have Stefan standing in the sun without his daylight ring come tomorrow morning if my brother and sister are not back to normal." Elijah says as if he didn't just threaten them.

"What?"

"No!"

Damon and Elena shouted in outrage but Stefan didn't seem to have heard.

Elijah called Katherine to make his threat. The phone went through but no one answered.

Each of them called but no one answered.

"Call Caroline over." Stefan said.

"It's a school night Elena. What do you want?"

"Come over at my house blondie." Damon demands.

"Elena what are you doing with him at this time? Are you serving yourself up so he can enjoy you to his hearts content? God, I can't believe you would...just go die together." Tut tut ...

Stefan raised the corner of his lips. At least she is loyal.

"We will have to go to her." Elena says.

"I am not going anywhere. You two can go, make it a stral under the moon night." Stefan went upstairs but before he can reach the top, he is stopped by Elijah who is standing in front of him.

"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I want my siblings cured. You are coming with us."

"Right. My last few hours in this world spent with the three of you? Just pull out my heart and we can end this here." Stefan looked at him in the eyes. Elijah saw it, he has turned off his humanity. Frowning, Elijah took his arm and pulled him toward the door.

"I'm afraid I'm gonna have to insist." He looked at Damon and Elena who are looking at Stefan with hurt. "We can go." Elijah took charge.

"How about I call Caroline? Mmmh?" He took his phone and called.

"What."

"Hey, can you call Katherine and tell him Elijah wants to burn me in the sun tomorrow if she doesn't cure his siblings? Thanks Care.." He dropped his phone and looked at Elijah.

"Done, can I go to sleep now?" Stefan asked. Elijah looked at him.

"You don't seem to care." It is a statement.

Stefan looked at his brother and Elena before turning to Elijah "Caring only makes it worse." He left and Elijah didn't stop him this time. 

Caroline came in and saw the line up. She walked and sat on the couch before trying to call Katherine. This time it was picked up.

"Hello." Mikel's manly voice came through.

"Hi, may I speak to Katherine?" Caroline spoke politely but Mikel chuckled.

"She is sleeping. She leaves her phone in the sitting room so it doesn't disturb her when she is really tired. Call in the morning."

"Umm, it's an emergency. Stefan's life is in danger." Caroline says with less confidence.

"Is that the Salvatore youngest vampire? I will be sure to send flowers."

"Wait, it's Elijah, he wants her to cure his siblings before sun rise. Otherwise he will burn Stefan in the sun tomorrow morning." Caroline said with panic.

"Even if the apocalypse is starting outside, no one is going to wake her up. That is why I am sitting here working from home. She never rest, always working. I finally got her to sleep and you want me to wake her for that ripper who constantly called her a lying manipulative bitch?" Mikel's voice got colder.

"If you call again. I'll see to it that you are unable to do so ever again. Good bye."

Caroline shivered. She stood up and looked at the phone in surprise. "Who is this? He sounds like a Male version of Katherine." Caroline joked.

"Where is Stefan?" Caroline asked.

"He said he needed sleep."

"He only has 3 hours." Elijah said looking at his non existing watch.

"Then what do we do? I'll go talk to her." Elena said and got up.

"No offense but I think she genuinely likes to mess with you the most so maybe send someone else." Caroline said kindly.

"Elijah, you get along with her so well, I suggest you just asking her for the cure." Damon said. Elijah looked at him.

"You are serious? She has been planning her revenge for centuries and you think a simple please will do?" Elijah sounds amused.

Elena had called Jeremy and Bonnie so they can help. Bonnie looked uncomfortable and quiet than the usual.

"What's wrong with you?" Caroline noticed and asked.

"Mom came back home." Bonnie said.

"That's great right?" Caroline asked.

"She left, now she just came over for no reason." Bonnie says in anger.

"You gave her that medicine right? That is why she came back, because she got her powers again?" Elena asked making Caroline lost.

"What medicine?" Caroline asked Bonnie.

"Daman, Elena and I went to greet the new neighbors and found out that Katherine lives there and they call her 'clan leader' and they are all werewolves. Bobby is one of them."

"When we were leaving, I say leaving but she practically chased us out of there. Anyways when we were leaving she gave me a vial of medicine to give to my mother. She said Emily made her do it. It broght back her powers and now she came back."

"Katherine can do that? Wow. I hope you and your mom make up. It must be nice." Caroline held her hand. Bonnie stiffens but let it happen. Caroline saw this but she is good at pretending.

"How about we call our new friends the werewolves and see if they can get through the door man?" Bonnie asked.

"What friends?" Elena asked Bonnie told her while Caroline tries to answer the phone.

"Sorry Care, whatever it is we are on lock down. No sleep over for tonight okay?" A sleepy voice came from the phone.

"Bobby, hey do you remember my friend who helped me when I was still a new vampire?"

"Yeah. The 100 years one. You're not sharing smuts at this hour are you? If anyone hears me on the phone at this time, my training will double." Bobby lazily complained.

"Hey don't be silly my friend is being blackmailed by this creepy ancient vampire who wants your clan leader to give him medicine. Can you help my friend?"

"Care, I love how good you are. The truth is that man you speak of, we have a file on him too. Your file is marked, overly accommodating, too compassionate and gullible. That Bonnie is marked simply as 'stupid' do you want to know what that man's file is marked as?"

"What is it?"

"One word. 'Dead.' So even if I go to her and talk to her about it, which I must admit I lack the guts to. She will tell me that he is already dead to her." Bobby dropped the phone.

"Are you guys thinking about what I'm thinking?" Damon suddenly asked.

"What your file says." Elena said.

"You get me." Damon said sweetly. Elena blushed.

"Eewu..." Caroline became disgusted. Bonnie pinched her.

"I'll go to her, I have already been invited to the house. They are wolves right? It's not a full moon today." Damon got agitated.

"Just break my way in, kill a few wolves and drag her to cure Klaus. Done." He stands up but Elena stands up with him. 

"I'm not going to let you go alone, did you forget what she did to you last time?" Elena made eyes at him. Caroline rolled her eyes. 

Elijah followed.

Damon did not make it in the gate just like Elijah. "How can I not be able to even get through the gate? last time I made all the way to the door just fine." 

"Anna says it's the same as in that place I had gone to enhance my strength, only those without bad intensions may enter. Vampires invited will have to be invited again when they return unless they are part of the clan."

Jeremy said and Bonnie got uncomfortable. 

The group is stunned by the level of security employed by this family, by Katherine.

Do they really want to antagonize some one who has this much power? They don't seem to have a choice. 

Angered by Jeremy talking to Anna right in front of her, Bonnie takes out her phone and called Jake.

"Miss Bennet, do you wish to be the first person I speak to this morning?" Jake's hoarse voice made Bonnie's ears burn. 

"Umm, Jake. Can I ask you a favor?"

"No, Bonnie I will not send you pictures of myself. Why don't you come and examine me up close? I am not a shy wolf." Jake's joking voice came. Such a raspy bedroom voice is really too tempting.

Jeremy's eyes stung. He is so upset he wants to destroy that phone. Caroline looked on in amusement. She heard Jeremy is dating a ghost. 

"You are all flirty now but you were quiet at school." 

"My sisters mouth wont stop talking. Besides, you woke me up. I have morning wood."

Elena and Caroline became flustered even Bonnie regretted it, She really shouldn't have poke at this guy. 

"Are you not alone? What are you doing calling me when you are entertaining. This is spicy, Bonnie I'm a young wolf." 

"Oh My God, Jake I need help. Please help me get a message to Katherine. Elijah wants to kill Stefan in the sun if she doesn't cure his brothers."

"Hehe.. Why?"

"Umm, what do you mean why?"

"Anyone who sees me will not think to call me in order to save a stranger I have never met. Instead, they will call my compassionate relatable twin sister. And since you know both of us, it would make sense if you had called my sister. So, why call me? I am not a nice guy and I am sure that is very obvious."

"I'll call Paige." Bonnie's voice sounded dejected. 

"Don't bother, she will tell you the same thing I'm going to tell you now. No." 

"Why?" 

"We had to work together to force her to sleep last night. She is tired.

And if she cared about Stefan enough to save him. He would be living here with us. In which case he wouldn't be threatened out there. If by chance I am wrong and she does cares about him.

Then it is not the dead you should worry about. She will bring hell on whoever hurt those she loves. If you don't like this Elijah, let him do it and prey that she cares." tut tut.

Silence. Damon began to throw things to the house but they came back hitting him and knocking him off his feet. Caroline couldn't stop laughing at him. 

Elijah heard every word. Unlike these children he remembers her power.

He remembers how she had used words to torture Damon because he had been proud to brag to her about killing someone she cares about. He remembers how they had described her actions against a pack of wolves who bit Rose her sire whom she hadn't seen in 500 years. 

He remembers how she had beaten him up to a point he couldn't fight back.

But he can not leave his sister in her current state. She was just trying to defend her brother. He will let loose if she really doesn't care about Stefan, then he will pick any one from the remaining people. 

His features harden and he looked at the sky, the sun will be out soon. He turns about to go get Stefan when the barrier rippled and a tall man with pale skin and blue eyes came out. 

"Oh? visitors at this hour? May I help you with something?" He looked at Elijah and took steps to face him. 

"You are Elijah? I see you came for a fight. He throws his watch and the leather bag he is carrying inside the barrier and unbutton the first few buttons of his shirt. 

"I hear original vampires are very powerful. Please enlighten me." He made a stance.

Elijah is having a bad day. He sped in an attempt to tackle Mikel but just as fast as him, Mikel met him with a powerful punch to the face. The jaw is slightly dislocated but Elijah is too busy being shocked. 

"What sort of wolf are you?" Elijah had just been trying to distract him with the question he gave him a strong kick to the knee. which Mikel took on even as his knee cracked. He smiled this is good, it means this Elijah is not too powerful against them. He decided to let loose. 

The two of them exchanged looks of understanding. They recognize that the other person is strong, but they will not back down.

The children moved away but watched on in awe as Elijah and Mikel fight and destroy near by trees creating craters on the earth. 

Their fight became too fast for them to follow with their eyes, even Damon couldn't see much.

They beat each other until the sun finally came out. Caroline, Bonnie and Jeremy looked on in horror as Mikel final et the upper hand. 

There is a cultivation technique specific to the wolves that Katherine gave to the entire clan. When they reach level 3 they can transform as they wish just like the 9 tails. It will probably take them two to three years if they are not talented enough. 

 For the nine tails who can already transform it is to reach the second part, when they completed the second layer of the beast manual. They will be able to also harden their skin even in human form.

It is arduous and requires concentration if the body has not released adrenaline as it does in combat mode. So Elijah has been trying to decapitate and remove his heart but without success. 

He will need to have Mikel standing still and to attack the same spot repeatedly without giving him time to heal himself for Elijah to successfully reach his heart and remove it.

This is also only a possibility because Mikel is still in the later stage of second layer. Beast manuals are special and require specific bloodlines to cultivate. They are also extremely slow which is why Katherine used the ceremony to improve their talent even though they have bloodline of a wolf.

When he reaches the third stage which he is sure to do soon because of the elixir and the fact he only eats qi food for now. Mikel is aware that at level 3 he will still be killed by strong weapons he is not a vampire at the end of the day.

He had put double the effort on his meditation since his 9 tail power is not offensive. 

They separated after what seemed like a long time. Elijah seems dejected. This fight seemed like they were well matched but Elijah knows that man never tries to take out his heart nor did he stab his chest with so much wood surrounding them. It seems as if he is using him to train. 

"The clan leader says you may come in."

Mikel went inside to change Elijah followed him in. When Damon and the others tried to follow Mikel didn't even turn around before advising. "Children should probably go to school." 

Damon followed Elijah. When they got inside they found Katherine taking a coffee cup from a maid. "Thank you Iren. You may go inside these people are not very nice people." 

"Thank you Katherine." Iren looked at the visitors and then left. 

Katherine looked at Mikel who seems disheveled and unkept. "How was it?" She checked him up close. Mikel took her hand and kissed it gently. 

"Clan leader, why are you up so early?" Mikel's eyes are gentle as he asked her. 

"How can I sleep? The noise outside woke me." Katherine rolled her eyes. They make so much noise and still expect her to be asleep? Is she dead?

"You were right about his speed, very fast. But I'll catch up to him." 

"I don't doubt it. You are the most diligent. Go change now and go to work. You didn't even sleep. I heard you refused people from waking me. Thank you." Katherine smiled at him. 

"I'll go but don't get angry okay? We already have three eunuchs no need for more." Mikel said to her as he says good bye. 

"I am not a child Mikel. Go away." She fixed him a glare. He laughs and runs away. 

"You can sit, and present your case Elijah." She turned and look at the two people at the door.

Elijah came in and took a seat. He studied Katherine, the more he looked the more he got bewitched.

She had turned completely ethereal. How can a vampire improve upon their looks to such an extent? She has beautiful skin and shining eyes. No make up but she looks ready to go out. 

He is a man but even he can see that her hair is longer and thick as if threads of silk.

It looks soft, making his hands itch. He looks at Damon and recognize the same longing in his eyes. This woman is really dangerous. 

"Katharina." Elijah spoke first cutting through Damon's spell bound expression. It is amazing that he is so enraptured this time, is it because Elena did not come with him? 

"May I help you with something Elijah? It is good you are alive." She doesn't smile as she used to do whenever she saw him. He is oddly bothered by this. 

"I have come to request that you spare my siblings." Elijah managed to come up with these words. 

"Yes, spare the hybrid so he can spare my sibling. You remember Stefan right?" Damon spoke up.

"You came here for both of them?" Katherine drank her blood tea.

The humans whose blood she drinks have been using the elixir to reduce the amount of impurities in their blood. They are well paid she had two of the staff working in the estate provide her with blood.

So when she drank from the cup, both Elijah and Damon could smell the tantalizing smell of purified blood.

"Yes. I came for both my siblings. As an older brother, it is my duty to ensure their well being." Elijah said calmly.

Katherine chuckles. "I see nothing unexpected happened. Just like I had said, you won't kill your brother instead you are here looking like you own the place making a 'request' but we both know what it really is."

"That brother of yours is in anguish." She looks at Elijah who stiffens and narrows his eyes dangerously.

"He is reliving his childhood traumas. Right up to his mother's curse. He is feeling every beating, every insult. It's quite the ingenious thing really. You see, I have the ability to steal anything under the heavens. So I made a pill that will invoke one's darkest memories and use it against them. You can't close your eyes or wish it to stop."

"I stole this pill's ability and made it my own." She brought her hand on the small table and her metallic pink claws slowly gained a black color and soon the claws are covered in what seems to be a black smoke or a shadow. As if they are enveloped in black flames.

When she moves the claws the flames follow. It is a strange beauty that is akin to a seductive mermaid singing in the ocean, luring people to their death.

"When I'm done with your brother he will believe he is the abomination his family sees him to be. Then when the time comes. He will kill himself, I won't have to lift a finger." She said lazily.

Elijah stood up and In a matter of a moment he has his hand on her neck. She was sitting but soon they are both on the floor. Katherine in what seems to be light pink pajama shorts kneeling on top of Elijah who is lying flat on the floor.

The sound of his back hitting the floor should have been loud but it was as if the floor absorbed the shock. Elijah feels as if his entire back is shattered, not to mention his chest where Katherine is kneeling on. She hadn't been very gentle with her landing.

Seeing Elijah helpless like this, Katherine lays down on top of him. Further damaging his chest bones. "Elijah, if you want to put your hands on me all you have to do is ask nicely. Why are you so violent? I am very helpless about your behavior Mr Mikaelson." She moves lightly getting comfortable on top of him. Elijah coughed lightly blood spilling out of his mouth in small doses.

Damon stared at this picture and can't help the irritation that surfaced upon seeing her lay on top of Elijah like that. She just flirts all day long. Her legs showing and the perfect skin grazing Elijah's pants as she lays on top of him.

Before he can stop himself he yanked her away from Elijah's chest.

"You are crushing him. Can't you see that?" Damon pretended to be justified.

"He should know better than to lose his temper like that. Isn't he very old?" She grumbled and went back to the chair.

"So who is that Mikel guy?"

"He's my family now. You and your gang made it clear how you feel about me."

"I thought you'd avoid that subject." Damon admits.

"Look, we did it ..."

"To save Elena. I know. You can leave now, Elijah won't be burning anyone."

"Katherine. I'm sorry."

"No, you're not. You'd do it again if given the same choice. Go now."

Damon looks at her and feels helpless. Would he do the same thing? Probably, maybe...

"How about we become pals again? You can stay at our homes by force and torture me all you want but just...don't be angry with me anymore okay?" Damon asks with rare sincerity but Katherine doesn't want to be used by them and then discarded like before.

Elena is the child of destiny, coveting her things will not end well for her. She looks at him with no expression.

"It would have been easier if I was angry Damon, anger I know how to dissolve and be okay. What happened made me feel something I can not correct or dissolve or get rid of. This feeling that came out of that one afternoon is not something I can handle." The eyes are clear but Damon could swear he saw deep hurt.

"It is best we do what you all wanted and just be strangers again. My concerns have shifted now. I will like to not be associated with any of you anymore. It is for the best."

"I...Katherine. I can make it better okay? Just tell me what to do? The warning you gave us all the possible outcomes you foresaw came true. Even worse things happened because we didn't listen, because I didn't listen. I realize we need your foresight."

"No, Damon you are only bothering with me because you think I am a potential tool that can be used in your endless pursuit of Elena's safety. I don't want to be used and discarded again." She showed him the door.

Damon couldn't fault her and left. His heart is heavy and he realizes what they did really hurt her. She always seemed so hard core he doesn't know how to fix this. She is not wrong, he wants to keep Elena safe. He will probably make use of her if she allowed him into her life again.

When he got home he took out the bottle and started drinking. When Stefan came down, he found him shit faced speeding and hitting furniture and the walls with his own body. Stefan took one look and went back to his room after taking blood bags for himself.

Katherine smiled as she looked at Damon's lonely back. She won't be regarded as a villain anymore right? She is the victim here. She believes she had played the victim right. At first she wanted to stay next to the child of destiny but then she realized her relationship with Elena will not be mended.

They both have an inherent dislike for each other. She will try to live her life with her new family and not interfere with them. She saw that even if she overlook Elena's excessive verbal attacks she will be used and used to save Elena the person who will never be grateful because she is entitled.

Is she ever grateful to Bonnie? She expects her to be the lam and just go to the Slaughter for her. Caroline is not too useful because she hasn't shown them her true power. But when that power becomes public knowledge, Caroline will become a foot soldier.

Treating people like friends when they don't see you as such is self abuse.

Katherine looked at Elijah and called Tony. "Clan leader, I had a night shift, I am beat. Please don't ask me to train today okay? I will train in the afternoon or tomorrow." Tony asked before even finding out what happened.

"Who is the guy on the floor?" He rubbed his eyes.

"How can you be tire?" Katherine frowned, Tony is one of her tails how can he be tired from just working all night?

"Hehe...the night before I had drank your bottles. Good stuff by the way. Can I take some for my boss? She will love it."

"Isn't she human?" Annabelle asked dressed in a professional grey pencil skirt and a cream white shirt with a floral design on the side. She looked beautiful and professional at the same time.

"She is but she can drink it in small doses."

"You are not trying to date her are you?" Katherine asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe. She is very beautiful."

"Good luck, look at that one, not a peep about meeting someone." Katherine points at Annabelle.

"Tony, I thought you like Bobby?" Anny asked while eating qi food.

"I do like Bobby but she is too young, I think a mature woman like Liz is good for me."

"So I'm too young for you? Is that why you have been avoiding me these days?" Bobby came down from her room ready to eat and go to school.

"Tony, apologize to Bobby, you shouldn't lead people on. Changing your mind is fine but I do not want such useless conflicts in the house."

"Yes clan leader." The three of them said in unison. Tony looked at Bobby with a sheepish expression.

"Hey I'm sorry. I will be clear about my intentions next time. Maybe you can try dating someone your age in school. I always feel insecure about my age."

"Alright. But I'm taking your share of qi food for my lunch." She said and Tony agreed with a smile. When Bobby left, Tony looked at Katherine with a pitiful expression.

"No, you are punished by eating human food today." Tony's shoulders sagged he really doesn't like to eat food that will make him feel pain later on when he drinks the elixir.

"Take him to my room." Katherine points at Elijah who has been pretending to be unconscious.

"It is Elijah? Are you two getting married now?" Annabelle asked taking her keys.

"Why would I have to incapacitate him if that was the case?"

"Are you not kidnapping him and marrying him by force? Like in the TV when the bride doesn't want to at first and then they eventually fall in love?" She is getting excited.

"No. Elijah is just uncomfortable on the floor. He attacked me and this was the results."

"Perhaps we should throw him out instead?" Tony's voice turned cold.

"He's learnt his lesson. He will behave in the future."

"Can I at least kick him?" Anny asked making both Tony and Katherine look at her.

"What? I can be violent." She said but Tony and Katherine burst out laughing.

"You guys are the worst." She stomped her heel and took her keys and left.

"Yes, you are a violent healer." Tony mummers.

"Take Elijah upstairs and stop teasing her. She is faster than you in training."

"Argh. Don't remind me."

"I told you to work diligently but look, you were supposed to show them up." Katherine said and Tony turned dejected. He took Elijah and dropped him on her bed before looking at her weirdly.

"I am not going to violate him. Leave."

"I didn't say anything. Mikel is going to hate this."

"Bye bye."

She closed the door and laid next to Elijah who can now move his eyes. "Don't worry, I have sent someone to heal your sister. You will spend the day with me as payment."

She lay on his chest making him sweat in pain. She yawned. She fell asleep, just like that.

Elijah did not know what he had expected her to do to him when she asked for him to be delivered to her room. He had healed an hour ago and the sun is almost down. She had really shattered his entire spine and the other bones making his crippled for a time being.

She is definitely asleep. He wants to get up and make her tell him how to cure his brother but... looking at her sleeping form. She had been so ruthless she wrapped her arm and leg around him slowing down his recovery.

But her scent is stronger now as he lays there the only sound he can hear is the sound of her breathing. Her behavior is really unpredictable. She had hurt him so viciously for losing his temper for just a moment and then she cuddles him like this.

He sighs but decides a day is not too much to ask for. He some how fell asleep for real this time. When he woke up he saw two shining eyes watching him with what seems to be fondness.

"What are you doing?" He asked

"I am watching you. You should stay longer."

"Why?" He hesitated but put his arm on her back.

"I like you. Can't I spend time with you?" She asks. There's no playful hint in her voice.

"Katharina..." he looked at her and saw her eyes darken in lust when he said her name. His own heartbeat quickened. God, she is so beautiful. This is the first time he is seeing her face so expressive. He can see it, she wants him and by his reaction he is no better. He swallows. This, what man can resist this temptation?

He closes his eyes and tried to reign in his impulse. "You can't like me and torture my brother at the same time Katharina." He brushed some hair out of her face. She leaned into his touch like a cat. She is really adorable like this.

"Perhaps you can try liking someone else?"

"Perhaps." She opened her eyes and put her head on his chest. "This was nice though, I can't be selfish and make you choose, I'd lose any ways. The day is over, you may go." She got away from him and slept on the pillow facing the other direction.

Elijah is not sure what to do. But remembering his two recently woken brothers and a sick sister he gets up and leaves. When he arrives at the door he turns to see her one last time. But she seems to have fallen asleep because she is not even looking his way.

He sighs. There is not much he can do, his brother will make a big fuss if he found out he is friendly with the woman who thrashed him so hard and then put his mind through purgatory. If anyone knows the terrible things Nicklaus will do when he looses his temper, it would be him.

He fixes his Jacket and opens the bedroom door. He comes face to face with Mikel who narrows his eyes at him. "Are you leaving already? I had even organized dinner for you. Are you sneaking out?"

Mikel seems to be mocking him for something. There's no way he got him dinner, this young man is too concerned about Katherine. Elijah doesn't like it, this boy is too handsome and too close to Katherine. He just side stepped him and left.

Mikel clicks his tongue. Still so fast. He will definitely catch up. He nocks on Katherine's door to make sure the old man didn't hurt her. Katherine allows him entry.

"You're gonna let him leave like that? I thought you like him." Mikel jumps next to Katherine looking at her back. She seems sad.

"It won't work, I'm still having my fun torturing his brother. He loves him and is also afraid of him. It is all a big mess. If that lunatic finds out he is chummy with the enemy, a dagger will find itself embedded on his chest again. That is how Nicklaus keeps everyone in check." She turns around looking at Mikel with mischief.

Mikel smiles "You have a plan."

"Yes. I am going to make him vulnerable to daggers just like his siblings. After all the crap he's pulled over the years they will want to serve him some but I'm not holding my breath there. My revenge is going to be fantastic." She got up.

"Clan leader, where are you going?" Mikel asked in amusement. She gets like this sometimes, her excitement is contagious.

"I'm going to the materials room. Magness got me some interesting totems from Egypt, this one can store a spirit. You know those Gypsies and their practice of torture rituals. There is an item from one of the tombs I can use to store what I am going to steal from Klaus."

"Are you finally using it? How exciting!" Mikel got up from the bed and followed her.

"Are you not working?" Katherine asked him.

"The others told me to come and babysit you incase you need me. It turns out you're fine. I am still coming with you though."

Katherine took the container and put it in her warehouse then took a walk to the house were Originals live. Mikel wanted to see her power at play.

"My fox spirit woke up not long ago. I have to thank Elijah. She really likes him." Katherine seems to be in a better mood now, so it turns out this is the reason.

She hasn't been her usual snappy and outspoken self ever since she made the sacrifice. Mikel now realizes the reason. She feels the same now as she was that time they first met.

"So, about that Stefan and Damon. Don't you want to invite them into the clan? If the people think it is okay to use them to blackmail you then there must be something there. Right?"

"They already have their own clan where they are in charge. Besides, they will only bring trouble and no contributions to the family. If it happens next time, don't give in just like this time." Katherine hooked her arm on his and they walked down the green trees.

"Alright. About my fight with Elijah, can you organize it again? I broke through during the day. I am at the third layer now."

"Oh? It seems the fight gave you that final push. After the ceremony none of you should be experiencing bottlenecks but your siblings are lazy. I found Bobby snoring in a meditation pose. The most dedicated after you is Jake and then Annabelle. Nate also works hard but he is too fascinated by his power of the tails."

"Speaking of which, I don't see any companions around you. Why is that?" Katherine is wondering is he is not satisfied by the power.

"I have tens of tiny spies all over the town. I left a few back home. I'll be the first one to know if there's a problem. Speaking of which, many alphas have come seeking to join. The numbers seem to have almost doubled. I'm afraid we will need a new location if we reach 2000."

"Tell Rose to reject them now. They should be able to hide by themselves. Alphas should provide safety to their own packs. Consider the lone wolves but make use of the truth stones to clean out the weed."

"Yes clan leader."

They reached the place where the Martin witches used to live. Katherine could hear arguments from inside.

"Are you telling me to just stay put and wait for Nicklaus who daggered me to wake up? I want to be as far away from him as possible."

"We should remain United especially now that we are facing an enemy this powerful. I can not worry about the two of you at the same time."

"We have come to welcome new neighbors." Katherine's shout made the argument inside halt.
