Chapter Thirty-Two

When I wake, the bright sun meets my eyes. I close my eyes as they hurt from the sudden exposure to the harsh light, and push myself up into a sitting position. My arms do not tremble, nor do they ache. My entire body feels freed from the sickness that has limited my body for seventeen years of my life. My hands touch grass and I look around at the landscape.

It is a vibrant green valley, with a variety of flowers providing pops of color to the lush land here and there. And, sitting across from me is none other than Aziel. a smile on his face that doesn't fail to brighten my spirit.
