Chapter Thirty-Four
Thomas glares yet another time in Finn's direction, though the Grinleon captain is too far away to see or care. Around him are the other Esmon captains and Levo, who is cloaked in black fabric to hide his figure from Finn should the captain look for his vice-captain.
Though he holds a pen and notebook in his hands, he does not possess the concentration to write the upcoming schedule for training his Wrine unit two weeks in advance. He gives out a frustrated sigh, to which Olivia breaks the tense silence.
"So what are we going to do? If Mykel finds out we were neglectful..."
"We weren't neglectful. We never knew Finn would just whisk the Crown Prince away and send him straight into Zador's underground just because he's cranky over Ludwig's past decisions," Kai pushes himself up into a sitting position from where he lay on the grass, most likely stargazing as he likes to do.
"Should we tell Mykel?" Evan ponders aloud, and Yuri shakes her head.
