Prologue

No one knew what was behind the door that held the secrets of centuries, but all they knew was that they couldn't enter, at least not without returning.

There has always been a saying. The curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. In my case there was nothing that would bring back the cat. Not after The Forbidden Evergreen. Traces of manipulation filled the air, nature of the cat, wasn't it ?

That's how I ended up in the situation of opening the forbidden door and entering. To not be found, or heard from ever again. Let's see what brought the overwhelming curiosity that killed the cat.

The story where one friend was more adventurous and more prone to life-threatening situations, getting her into more than needed trouble. And a friend who would always look out for her, ending up being the one that leaves everything behind. One certain instance where she's was manipulated into helping her friend, would end up being her last breath.
